This past Saturday My daughter had her 5th Birthday party. She wanted a team umizoomi party. I contacted Roxy a week before the party to order my cake. Roxy responded promptly. I was so happy that she had time to make my cake. I sent her a picture of the cake that I liked on Pinterest. All of our communication was through Facebook message. She was also very accommodating on some changes I wanted on the cake. She has a lot of flavor of cake and fillings. It was hard to decide. I asked her a recommendation. I went with a chocolate cake with cookie and cream filling and my second layer of cake was yellow cake with custard. It was delicious and the cake was so cute. The cake was perfect!! Roxy made an elegant high birthday cake for my daughter's 8th party. It was dog themed and had a picture of cute dogs at a party. It has beautiful icing on it as well. The cake was delicious chocolate with layers of strawberries and cream. Everyone at the party Ooh-ed and Aah-ed at the cake. It was a work of art, cute yet elegant. Roxy is amazing!! She did my son's smash cake for a photo session - it was a beautiful ombre blue. Three weeks later she made me a beautiful two tier cake and another smash cake - it was exactly what I envisioned! The cakes were not only beautiful - but tasted fantastic. Her flavor options are extensive. We chose a lemon poppyseed with raspberry cream cheese for one layer and chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling for the second. I was organizing a tailgate for the Colts vs Niners game and I wanted to get a customize cake for the event. It was a week away and I was afraid she couldn't do it with such short notice. So I wrote her an email (since the last yelper said she was really good at responding emails) telling her how I wanted the cake to look like a football field. And on each endzone, I wanted the team name and color. I gave her pictures of how I wanted my endzones to look like. I also gave her my budget. She responded to my email pretty quickly and told me that she will do exactly what I asked her in the email and will put in the logo as well. She also told me she would meet my deadline and budget. When I arrived to pick up the cake...I was soooooo amazed on how beautiful it looked! She really went all out for me. She added all these lil details that I haven't requested. I actually wanted more details on my cake but I was afraid it would cost extra money and therefore tried to keep the design super simple. So when she added the logos and the football in the middle of the cake at no extra cost, I was delightfully surprised! It turned out so great.....I was really really impressed. Once the cake was revealed at the tailgate...everyone's reaction was priceless. Everyone lovveeedddd how the cake turned out and how it tasted. The cake tasted DELICIOUS (it was vanilla flavored)! It wasn't dry or too sweet. It was just absolutely perfect. The cake was a total hit at the tailgate. Thanks Roxy! :) GO COLTS! :)

We absolutely loved the cake Roxy made for my daughter's birthday party! Not only was it delicious but it was beautiful and exactly what I asked for. The cake was moist, the filling (mocha truffle) was yummy, and the rosette ombré frosting was on point. Roxy was prompt to reply to my email and accommodating of my requests and able to take the order 1 week before the party. I found Roxy's Sweet Treats through my Yelp search for "Best Birthday Cakes", and she came up amongst the top 5. I emailed her for a quote and got a response within 10 minutes. Quick! I wasn't looking for a fancy cake; I just wanted an amazing tasting cake. I was undecided about my cake combination, so she helped me finalize it. I ordered a banana cake with a chocolate-almond crunch filling and topped with chocolate fudge. Oh my goodness! It was delicious! The cake itself was so moist and flavorful, but not too banana tasting. The chocolate-almond crunch filling complimented the banana cake perfectly and added a nice texture. She didn't do chocolate ganache toppings, which is what I wanted originally, but she does this chocolate fudge topping that's soooo good! Everyone who had the cake loved it and asked for her information. I highly recommend Roxy for your next event. She's very kind and so easy to work. She does cupcakes and cake pops too. She can do the fancy, fondant cakes as well. I think her prices are reasonable. I got an 8" round cake for $40. She also does delivery for a charge. read more

Great bakery. Haven't ordered but two times have had Roxy's good baked goods (mainly specialty cookies).Very difficult to get a cake unless you are a good planner and can plan weeks ahead of time. A small business and on a first come first serve basis. Hard to get hold of but once you do it's really worth the wait!! read more

I seriously can not say enough about Roxy and her amazing cakes! If I could give her 10 stars I would. I found her a little over three years ago when I was searching for an amazing cake designer to bake and design my baby shower cake (Which was the centerpiece for the shower)... She exceeded any expectation. The cake was not only beautiful but it tasted AMAZING! My guests all commented on how great the cake was! In the past, I've found that Fondant cakes looked good but didn't taste all that great, this is not the case with Roxy's cakes.. they taste sooooo good! She's been a staple in my family since the minute I found her. After the shower, I've counted on her to make every special occasion cake, cookie and cupcake since then and she always comes through! Ohh and her cookies are SOOOOOOO good too! I always order a few more, just so I have for myself LOL! If you're looking for a great baker/designer - look no further, Roxy is the ONE! read more

Had a last minute urgent order for 75 monogrammed cookies for a corporate event and Roxy came through in lightening speed!!!! Not only was she immediate to respond but also made the entire process of ordering, delivery and payment seamless. The cookies were BEAUTIFUL, delicious and elegantly individually wrapped with a beautiful ribbon on each!! I dont wanna leave any star at all, but since i have to...then...there u go 1star. I called, no one pick up and i did leave a msg and no respond until the next day i decided to give another try. Again no one pick up and i have to leave a msg again. Finally she picked up the call and she says she was busy with some parties and decided to have conversation over the txt msg instead of the phone. Ok -,- i told her wat i want for the specific design for my bf's bday. It was a week ahead of time. I asume she can make it within a week. (Just a cake, how hard is that? And only 3-4 people serve, a 8" cake, not some kind of giant cake) i even ask her can u make it by the date i asked for, and she reply: "Yes". after that she say she will get back to me tmr. Then the next day i waited and waited, no reply!! I txted her asking wats up was that. And she finally said she cannot make it cuz she was busy -.- Come on... If u cannot make it by the time and date, should have told me sooner so i dont have to wait for ur txt. And watse my time too. Also, u didnt reply my call and voicemail from the beginning either, i was giving u another chances. Bad customer service!!! Not recommended read more

This is a very late review since I just started writing reviews on yelp. I found Roxy on here and since she had awesome reviews I decided to contact her. She was very prompt on my emails and understood what I wanted. I used her for my sons 5th birthday party cake. OMG! She did AMAZING. Every one of my guests was just shocked how great it looked and how wonderful it tasted! Roxy is awesome! Definitely recommend her! Find her Facebook page and her portfolio is great! My twin boys are obsessed with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so for their third birthday we decided to find a Mickey-themed cake. Roxy was extremely responsive, helping me decide what style would work best for the design and size we were looking for. She even delivered the cake to our house because we're local. Mickey was amazing when he arrived! And while I've had experiences where a cute cake sacrifices flavor, everyone at our party raved about not only how adorable our centerpiece was but how delicious it tasted! Roxy's designed my daughter's cake for her 1st & 2nd birthday and each time was beyond my expectations! In both design & taste surpassed the best of the best in the Bay Area. This year she made a super cute Tinkerbelle cake. It was so beautifully detailed that we didn't want to cut & serve! the champagne pink cake & mango custard was so delicious , most had seconds! My sister found Roxy & no need to look further.. . Her artistic talent as a cake designer & pastry chef is so impressive and believe me I know cake! All I can say is WOW!!!! I found Roxy's Sweet Treats searching for the perfect frozen themed cake for my daughter's 3rd birthday party. As soon as I saw a picture of Roxy's cake made for another frozen themed bday party, I knew that was the cake for my girl. So I emailed her at 5 am and Roxy got right back to me and agree to make my cake with 2 weeks' notice. In addition to my frozen themed cake, I also order 25 strawberry mini cupcakes. On the day of pick up, the cake and the mini cupcakes were Perfect in both presentation and taste. The work that Roxy did on the cake was beyond spectacular!!! The cake looked amazing and tested delicious!!! The cupcakes were also elegant and tested amazing!!! The birthday girl and my guests loved the cake and the adults kept asking me where I got my cake. Roxy did a fabulous job on my sons 2 cakes for his birthday and she was able to stay exactly on budget without sacrificing any of the details. Roxy is absolutely amazing at what she does! Her cakes not only look incredible, but they are also incredibly delicious- so moist and flavorful. She has so many flavors of cakes and fillings to choose from, the options are limitless. She made my daughter's strawberry flavored Panda cake, my husband's red velvet golf themed cake, and just recently my baby's banana marble baptism cake. I recently celebrated my son's 2nd birthday and did a Mickey Mouse theme party. I got referred to Roxy's treat through a friend. I am not a fondant fan and she was able to do a perfect Mickey Mouse cake with icing. I sent her a picture of what i was looking for design wise and once i saw the cake it looked not only like the picture but so much better! The ordering process was very easy and she worked through all my requests and with all my pickyness and she worked with my budget. The cake itself was absolutely DELICIOUS and FRESH! After tasting a cake Roxy did for my grandmothers 90th birthday, I knew she was the one I wanted to do all the treats for my upcoming wedding events. I had done a few cake tastings at some very high end bakery's, but they did not even come close to how delicious Roxy's goodies were. Roxy did the sweets for just about every event I had leading up to my wedding, INCLUDING my wedding cake! For my bachelorette party she made the cutest sugar cookies in the shapes of panties, bustiers and bras. Everyone loved them because they were so cute and my goodness were they delicious! For my bridal shower she made sugar cookies again in the shapes of wedding cakes, wedding dresses, hearts and diamond rings. Just as cute and delicious as before. In addition to those she made the most fabulous cake in lemon with raspberry cream cheese filling. Everyone at the shower raved about the cake and how beautiful and amazingly delicious it was. For my wedding she made a two tier lemon cake with raspberry parfait filling and butter cream frosting. It looked exactly like the picture I had shown her. I was beyond thrilled with it. As a surprise for my fly-fishing husband I also had her make a grooms cake in red velvet with cream cheese icing. She did in the shape of a rainbow trout. It came out fantastic and he loved it! It was a big hit. At the wedding I had everyone coming to me telling me that I had the most delicious wedding cakes that anyone had ever had. And I agreed. They were beyond delicious. I come to Roxy literally for every occasion. Birthday parties, baby showers etc. I've been coming to her for cakes the last four years and I am so happy I found her!! This last occasion was for my son's 4th birthday party. I asked her to make a PJ Mask themed birthday cake and even though she had never seen the cartoon before she pulled it off. My son LOVED the cake and all of our guest loved the taste and how she added small pieces of strawberries in the strawberry cake mix. Thank you Roxy for never disappointing us :). Last Saturday we celebrated my husband's birthday with the burnt almond cake from Roxy's Sweet Treats. It was absolutely delicious, the best we've had, with an abundance of almonds and a yummy filling. My favorite would be the orchid oolong milk tea for their light floral taste and their refreshing Golden passion. The thing that stands out is their oolong mochi boba and their ube mochi boba. Though I'm not a typical ube fan, their ube mochi boba is something that I would come back for. I love their mochi boba for their chewiness. My only con is their price point for the drinks are on the higher end.

Roxy's Sweet Treats is a FABULOUS place to get your cakes, cupcakes, desserts, etc. for your special occasions. Roxy, the baker/owner, is very creative, and most importantly, very reliable! Her creations are absolutely beautiful and fabulous tasting. Her creations are much better than many of the tried and true San Jose bakeries. She recently made a fondant Mickey Mouse cake for my son's 2nd birthday, complete with personalized Mickey Mouse ears! Everyone was amazed at how wonderful the cake was, and said that it was the most amazing cake they had ever seen. Roxy was great to work with because I had specific ideas that she listened to, while putting her own creative spin on it at the same time. Top notch service here, my little sisters birthday cake turned out beautifully. Usually when you order a cake from a higher-end bakery they sacrifice taste for looks, but this one looked and tasted wonderful. We got her a white velvet cake with milk chocolate frosting and a fudge drizzle and the best part is it didn't cost me an arm and a leg for it. I didn't give any specific instructions on how the cake should look, just which flavors she wanted, and all I can say is Roxy did a wonderful job with the decorations and overall presentation of the cake. I think most people will agree that this is one of the better bakeries in SJ; it's affordable, the designs are flexible, and the customer service is definitely there. Holy Carumba, Roxy's treats are amazing. I have attended a handful of parties where she has catered the desserts and have never been the slightest bit dissapointed. Neopolitans, cupcakes and eclairs are the best I've had. She catered a Halloween party where not only were her treats delicious, but in theme too - eyeball cupcakes, dismembered lady fingers and witches brew punch. Awesome. Roxy made a cake for our daughter and it goes without saying that it tasted amazing, but the princess decoration was unbelievable. No detail forgotten. Oh, and Roxy happens to be the nicest person you will ever meet and will go to every length to ensure you are satisfied. You can't go wrong with Roxy's Sweet Treets. read more

I was looking for a Mickey mouse themed cake for a very long time. I stumbled upon Roxys on yelp and decided to contact her through email. Let me tell you she was AMAZING! The cake was delicious and they came our gorgeous (had 2), and she was just so polite. I had called previous bakeries before and they would just be So rude but you get none of that with Roxy. Roxy is so talented. I so wish I could bake cakes like her. I was surprised with a birthday cake. It was beautifully designed and super delicious. I didn't even want to eat it because it was so pretty. She even delivered it to the place i was staying. I definitely highly recommend Roxy's Sweet Treats. Roxy designed a cake excatly how i imagined it if not even way better. We had a chocolate cake with chocolate almond crunch filling and it was so good, we also had red velvet cupcakes and that was super good. the price is very reasonable will be getting future cakes from Roxy!! thank you once again!! read more
