The space inside is pleasant with a mural portraying a colorful countryside relaxing vibe. I think this is the similar mural to the one located on Clement. Great place for eating lunch while reading a book, meeting friends, or have causal lunch/coffee. I especially like their egg salad sandwich and the BLT sandwich. The woman who works here is very rude and I (the customer) ordered coffee (I assumed every coffee on the menu comes iced because the menu isn't specific AT ALL whether it's hot or iced). Im sorry about the break-ins. This cafe has been in this neighbor for a while. I've never gone in till now. I never knew it had everything. Smoothies, sandwiches, coffee (of course), salads, traditional baked goods like lemon and raspberry squares. Unbelievable how much they offer. I was torn between a sandwich or salad. I let their staff pick. Royal salad won. A big scoop of tuna with dotted capers, crunchy fresh romaine, crunchy bell peppers, a sliced hard boiled egg, the freshest sliced avocado, sliced grape tomatoes and homemade balsamic dressing. They have great wifi- came here to take zoom classes. Their sandwiches are really yummy. I've tried a lot of their sandwiches and it never disappoints. My favorite one is the egg salad sandwich. Cute little coffee shop with great bagels! I dropped by in the morning and grabbed a latte and lox bagel before sitting down to do some homework. The lox bagel was awesome. It comes with cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and capers. Bagel was perfectly toasted and the veggies were fresh. Perfect way to start my day :) I got a white mocha and it was decent. This is my favorite coffee place to go for a quick bite. The sandwiches aren't the best as compared to Lou's sandwich but for $7-$9 range, they're decent. I enjoy this spot because it doesn't get too busy and they are really friendly and efficient. Whenever I have a lot like my water and lunch in my hand, they notice and make it easy for me like put my food in a bag and tie it up. They also know me by now and are familiar with my usual order. One of the best veggie bagels in town! Comes with sprouts, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and cream cheese for less than $5. When I need a place to work for a few hours, I come here to get some coffee and food and free wifi. There's plenty of seating and outlets. I always come by this area of the city but surprisingly I have never discovered this cafe until now! It is by a corner on Geary and it is so easy to skip this place because of other cafe and food choices nearby. Honestly speaking, this is such a decent cafe where I will take a second experience right after my first! Their menu is simple but quality also comes along! Their price is more than just! The setting of this place is also study/working-friendly, and I have spent a good afternoon working on my computer here without feeling uneasy. First time visitor here! This was a nice coffee shop which had clean tables, floors and bathroom. Beautiful murals on the wall and a nice quiet study/workplace. My boyfriend and I ate lunch down the street and we were looking for someplace to study. We walked past this place on the way to our restaurant and decided to come in after we ate. When we came in, there was a ton of empty seats. There are outlets underneath the tables that are against the walls. I loved the window seating and how much light was coming into the cafe as well! There seemed to be a lot of people studying here, so it didn't feel awkward to be spending a couple of hours just studying. I felt bad so I decided to get a drink and a small pastry. I went up to the cashier (they accept card btw!) and quickly decided on a Thai Tea and a pumpkin cream cheese muffin. The pumpkin muffin wasn't overly sweet and the cream cheese inside tasted so good! It was more of the sweet cream cheese so it was well-suited for the pastry. I was skeptical about getting a Thai Tea from a small coffee shop but WOW I WAS SO SURPRISED! Their Thai Tea was so great! I'm not sure if it's instant or if they actually make it in the back of the house but man, oh, MAN, I was so pleased! There was just the right amount of sweetness and cream to the drink and the black tea wasn't overwhelming. It didn't taste watered down either. A lot of places get the tea, milk and water ratio wrong so it either tastes too strong or too watered down, but this place got it perfectly right! Above all, I love how it's on a corner so you could see people coming from the right and left of the windows. I'm really big on cafes having huge windows so that way you don't feel super trapped inside of a building while you study, but I definitely recommend this place to study. Women working on weekend with long black hair was short with me while taking ordering, ordered simple bagels I get all the time, gave attitude. I come here during week and the guys working in the week know me and are really kind. Never had an issue. My husband didn't like the taste of his coffee she made it into a big deal instead of just making it right for us. Really bad service. Not that many customers here and you're bothered to take our order. Not returning if she's working.
