0 Star - Absolutely Horrific Experience STAY AWAY FROM ROYAL MOVING AND STORAGE! This was one of the most stressful and upsetting experiences I've ever had with a company. Our move took place in the summer of 2025, and what started as a professional moving service turned into a nightmare that lasted for weeks and months. First, after conducting a walkthrough and providing a quote, the company attempted to increase the charges for moving our safe and treadmill. These items were clearly identified during the walkthrough, so there should have been absolutely no surprises. The much bigger issue, however, occurred during delivery. Royal Moving and Storage outsourced our move from Las Vegas to Dallas to a third-party driver. When the truck arrived in Dallas, the company approved the driver to hire four individuals from Craigslist to unload our household belongings. These were complete strangers entering our home with no apparent screening, verification, or background checks. The result was devastating. One of those individuals stole my wedding ring. When I reported the theft, Royal Moving and Storage showed little interest in helping identify or locate the person responsible. There was no accountability, no ownership of the situation, and not even a sincere apology. I ultimately had to file a police report and open a criminal case myself. During the investigation, I learned that the individual had multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest. Think about that for a moment. A moving company allowed someone with outstanding warrants into my home to handle my personal belongings. The emotional toll was enormous. Beyond the loss of a treasured possession, there was the realization that an unvetted stranger had been given access to our home and everything inside it. Royal Moving and Storage did nothing meaningful to help resolve the situation. As if that wasn't enough, they also lost the box containing the screws and hardware needed to reassemble our beds and furniture. One of the Craigslist helpers offered to purchase replacement screws and return the next day to finish the work. I paid him part of the cost, and he never showed up again. Thankfully, the driver felt bad enough about the situation to reimburse me. From questionable pricing practices to poor oversight, lost items, lack of accountability, and serious security concerns, this company failed at every level. If you value your belongings, your security, and your peace of mind, do not trust Royal Moving and Storage with your move. This wasn't just poor customer service. It was a complete breakdown of professionalism, responsibility, and basic customer safety. 1 Star - Binding Estimate Ignored & Pattern of Complaints I had a signed binding estimate from Royal Moving for $4,200 after completing a detailed FaceTime walkthrough where every item was disclosed and verified with measurements. Nothing was added after the estimate was issued. On move day, the driver arrived and then the office demanded an additional $1,500 (a 35% increase) before they would proceed. I was never provided a written amended binding estimate--only a verbal demand for more money. When I refused to agree to the sudden price increase, the driver left and the move was never performed. I was ready and willing to move under the signed binding estimate. This was not a cancellation on my part. Royal Moving refused to perform unless I agreed to pay more than the contracted amount, and they have since refused to refund my deposit. Fraudulent Business Practices - Avoid at All Costs Royal Moving Company in Las Vegas operates unethically. I was quoted $2,000 for my move after providing a full list of items to be wrapped and transported. This company stole my queen size mattress ($600), (literally stole it- they texted me and told me they "found it and would be delivered - I'm still waiting...), they stole a large bin of my son's legos ($700-800), stole or lost a box of clothing ($500-/+), stole my husband's box of collectable baseball cards ($1000's) from when he was a child. He is now 46, so imagine the math and worth. Our camping gear was stolen or lost ($75), and more. My precious China dishes from Japan, boxed and wrapped with bubble wrap AND towels had so many broken pieces. ($300) 11 of my quality, large lid locking bins were crushed and broken. And sooooo much more! On top of that they wrapped and "marked or counted" individual items for the move like 1 bike pump or 1 pot, or dismantling my husband's bike into 2 pieces as inventory to try to up our cost from $3800 to $5K to take our items that were fully listed. So much so that they convinced us to not bring our couch or fridge at pick up which was literally like 30 hours before we were leaving for our move, otherwise they would have to charge us that extra $1200. This was an absolute nightmare. To top it all off- the woman in communication with me who schedules all the deliveries- Ellie, tried to gaslight me and her driver at the drop off, then ignored me until I was more firm. I got a quote to move from Colorado to Las vegas in January of 2026. My move was scheduled at the beginning of May. I received a quote from James Treasure. I was quoted $2500. after a video walk thru of my 1 bedroom, 710sq ft apt on the 3rd floor of a complex. I asked all the questions after doing quite a bit of research. 57 items were on the quote including a freezer and small love seat with a pull out bed and a grill. All three of these items were sold before the move. I was told this would lower my final cost as the quote is based off of weight and cubic feet needed. After calling several times in late April to confirm I was told I needed to pay another $1900 after giving them a $1050 deposit when I booked with them in January. They came on the day of the move and I had to pay another$1300. At this point I had no choice as it was to late to cancel and they already had my money.. i won't bore you with more details but before they would unload my items in Vegas, I had to pay them $1200 more. We contracted with Royal Moving and Storage to move us from Northern California to Paradise Valley, Arizona. Our experience reflects the experiences you may have experienced with this industry. They arrived late to pack and load us with individuals hired off the street the day before and the day of the move. Our furniture was sloppily packed and loaded with several items broken and scarred. On delivery day our furniture had been off loaded from the van that it had originally been loaded onto a different van. Once again, they arrived late with another crew hired off the street and the day before. Furniture was broken while being unloaded and our floors were scratched due to the unprofessional crew. On 12/15, the movers came, who despite me being told they were "employees" turned out to be subcontractors with little to no moving experience. After numerous attempts to fleece us for MORE money than we agreed on, our belongings wound up in multiple storage lockers 200 miles away. Now, almost 3 months later, we are still missing our household items; rare paintings, books, clothing, records. We found some of our items when another scammed person called us to tell us she had tracked down her items via a pod tracking device and found ours mixed in with hers. Another company actually delivered my belongings to NM I needed 1200 cubic ft of space not 600. ( I corrected this prior to moving day.I know 1200 is the right amount because that is the amount I used moving from AZ to WA and had less stuff for this move, however Justin Sharp told me I would need 300 additional cu ft. I said NO. When Jose&sons arrived they would not load anything until I paid for 300 extra cu ft at a cost of $547.00 or they would leave some of my stuff in WA so I paid. (I believe the cost was for fuel as the price they charged for fuel was the cost in October 2025 not todays prices). In 2017 I loaded a 26 ft Uhaul with 4 bedrooms,a living room two bath rooms a basement and gargage full of my belongings and did not leave anything behind Here is my advice. 1.If you are going to use mover find someone local to you who will transport your stuff to your new home. 2. They cited the semi's inability to access my neighborhood--exactly the situation I had forewarned them about. Ironically, the truck they rented, a 26 ft box truck, to offload my items managed just fine. The troubles didn't stop there. They destroyed my dryer, dented the washer, broke my gas grill, scratched and chipped my furniture, broke my TV, lost parts to my bedroom set, and tried to delivery other people's furniture to my house. They come off strong with a girl named Sunny for us - don't worry she will be with you every step of the way or so they say. Right after initial deposit Sunny was done for us and we were no longer her problem. All downhill from there. They invoiced at pickup no problem and we paid the adjusted amount even though it was way higher because of the space we used YET when they deliver they don't invoice you - you have to pay with a cash app and a lot of cash apps only allow 5 k a day so the movers were sitting for about a half hour trying to get it resolved. We were under the assumption as they have their "own people" but when four showed up only 2 worked for the company and on the back end only 1 of the 4 as the rest were all day laborers who don't really care since our boxes were dropped routinely. So I asked for follow up from owner and crickets because hey it's veteran owned which is why we went with them. I didn't know veteran owned meant veteran screwing other veterans. Hey don't believe me? We paid almost 18 thousand dollars so look at the pictures and tell me... Avoid at all costs. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY...Royal Moving 3235 Sunridge Heights Pkwy Ste #130, Henderson, NV 89052. This company is a racket. I was going to use U-Haul and received a quote for approx. $1800 to move from Ft. Collins, CO to Surprise, AZ. To compare rates, I called a couple moving companies. Unfortunately, Royal Moving was one of them. I spoke with Christian Hess who I told I was going to move 1 golf cart (a 2 sitter), an electric fireplace and approximately 40 boxes. He gave me a quote of $2104.90 (Ref # RR4719275). It was clear as day and written into the contract, I was moving a golf cart. On Apr 9th, the movers showed up. They put the golf cart in the truck, fireplace (which Bryan broke before he even got it on the truck and promised to fix it at delivery) and approximately 75% of the remaining items. Bryan came into the house and told me that I had much more than was originally outlined in the contract and that due to the golf cart, not only would the price be more but there was going to be a bulk item charge.... Brace yourself.... These people told me the golf cart bulk item charge was $1500.... And the total move was almost $6000. Now picture the scene... They have almost all my belongings on the truck, they know the situation is extremely stressful because I explained to Christian and to Bryan why I was doing what I was doing. I was under strict timelines and had to be out of the house before my ex came home. I was avoiding a potentially volatile scene. When Bryan told me about the new contract amount, I lost it. He tried for several minutes to explain why this could even be possible, let alone acceptable. Finally, Bryan called Lauren (I don't have her last name) but she identified herself as a manager. I explained to her that Christian never said anything about a bulk item charge, it was not in the contract, and this was a bait and switch situation. She at first tried to make this ridiculous situation sound reasonable, however, even she could not swallow the crap she was selling, put me on hold and told me that Christian should have told me about the bulk item charge and that they would not be charging me this.... YIPPEE.... Instead of $2100, I was going to have to pay $3891. Almost double. My inventory on the final contract was as follows: 1 golf cart 1 electric fireplace 10 plastic bags 11 large boxes 3 christmas trees- the skinny ones 12 medium boxes 1 large pottery pumpkin 1 small pottery pumpkin 4 rugs A foam workout roller 1 standing fan 1 5-foot ladder 1 wooden ottoman tray 1 bicycle This is 47 items... I was quoted 40 in the initial quote. I bring 7 more items, and the price goes up $1700 dollars. Disgusting. Due to the stress of having to get out of the house, coupled with the fact that almost all my stuff was already on the truck, I caved and signed the renew contract and paid an additional $1441. This is where it gets good...I asked Bryan when my stuff would arrive in Surprise, AZ. He told me that he had a full house delivery and that tomorrow, Apr 10th he would be taking all my stuff off the truck, going to another move and finishing that move and then put my stuff back onto the truck.... Again, my mouth almost hit the ground. I was NEVER told my stuff would be moved off and on the truck. I was paying a fortune to have 47 items moved 800ish miles and now I am being told he was going to be taking it all off the truck to do another move. I broke down in tears at this point. Bryan, who should be the salesperson of the year for liars, told me don't worry. I will be with your stuff the whole time. I will take pictures of it and show you that your stuff is safe and secure. He went on to say that he could get my stuff delivered by Monday Apr 13th, because he had another delivery on the way so it would work out.... ALL LIES On Fri Apr 10th, I sent Bryan a text asking him if my stuff was safe and secure and letting him know I had not received any pictures. He did not respond on Friday. He had previously told me he had a day off on Saturday, and I received no response on Saturday. Then on Sun Apr 12th, I texted him again asking where my stuff was and when it would arrive. He texted back "I'm sorry plans have changed I apologize for any inconvenience if you have any other questions, you can contact customer service up on our website." I was furious. This guy looked me in the eye and told me he would have my stuff delivered on Monday, Apr 13th. That was also the date on all the documents I signed on the new contract. Bryan made it a point for me to look at my calendar to make sure Monday was April 13th so I could fill out the paperwork with the correct date. Do not use Royal Moving. They not only scammed us out of more money than originally quoted, but also delivered our items over a week late. To make matters worse, they "lost" our expensive TV and bed, and delivered severely damaged boxes. This was a highly upsetting experience and has taught me to not blindly trust companies. It is clear that the management at Royal Moving does not prioritize customer satisfaction or the well-being of their belongings. If I could give Royal Moving negative stars, I would. This company is the definition of disorganization, dishonesty, and poor service. Customer Service: [[HIGHLIGHT]]My pickup was scheduled for August 11th between 2-4 PM. At 4:30 PM, no one showed. When I called, I was told the truck was full and there was "no room" for my items. They rescheduled for the next day, but again, no one arrived during the promised window.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Excuses kept coming: "the driver is behind," "you'll get a call soon." The truth? The driver didn't even have a truck. He was hours away and lied about being close. Dispatch even told him to override legal driving limits. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had to call repeatedly for updates--Royal Moving never once reached out proactively.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pricing & Deceptive Practices: Their estimate was completely inaccurate. I added two chairs and a filing cabinet but had fewer boxes than quoted. Still, the driver claimed the cost would be higher because "the people who do estimates don't know trucks." This seems to be their business model: lowball the estimate, then pressure customers into paying more. They charged $20 per box and packed inefficiently--one medium box for 10 mugs, no proper wrapping. Packing & Handling: The driver arrived alone, unprepared, and without the necessary tools or supplies. He even called what appeared to be friends--not company employees--for help. They ran out of bubble wrap and wrote "fragile out of bubble wrap" on boxes. They used my personal moving blankets to wrap TVs I was charged for boxing. They left TV mounts on the wall, packed kitchen items carelessly, and even tried to have my 16-year-old sign documents. Delivery: I paid in full on August 22nd for delivery on August 25th. That date came and went with no call, no truck. After multiple follow-ups, my items finally arrived on September 5th--nearly two weeks late. The delivery crew was excellent (and frankly too good for this company), but by then, the damage was done. Damage: Two of my three TVs arrived scratched or broken. My Uplift desk no longer works because they disconnected components incorrectly. They left drawers unpacked, ignored instructions, and mishandled fragile items. Their lack of care cost me hundreds of dollars in damage. Bottom Line: Royal Moving is dishonest, disorganized, and reckless. They lie, overcharge, and destroy property. Horrible experience. Broke numerous items and numerous items were missing upon delivery. Many promises were made and none kept. I was told by Christian Hass in the call center that he would be available if I had any questions. He ghosted me th eminute I signed the contract. Movers showed up hung over (their own admission) and never mentioned the extra insurance. The built in insurance pays .60 cents per pound. PER POUND? It is also very convoluted and difficult to claim. Elenita, a rep who actually answered was kind, but she kept saying she could do anything and that the missing items were just that missing. I would give a 0 star if possible. This company made our whole move difficult. From the sales person not updating the pickup date a month in advance, causing us to leave before our stuff was even picked up when originally our stuff would have been in our new house before we arrived. THEN, they say our stuff filled up over 1400 cubic square feet after moving it from a 1000csf storage facility that wasnt even packed. So our total went from $3980 to $14k. We were essentially forced to pay or else they would have all of our personal items. THEN, they tell me it will take 7-10 days after pickup for our stuff to arrive to our new house, after the sales guy promised me 3-5 days originally. So they offer me Priority shipping, but it cost yet another $1800. So, not only do they mess up the pickup date, they charge me to even make it right. I requested that they cover the priority charge since it was their fault in the first place, but the owner said he would give me $50 off. It was a complete joke. So we spent a good 5 days at our new house without any of our things. When things finally did arrive, there were items missing including my center channel speaker, and all of my gym hardware for my squat rack. That is all i've found missing thus far. My 85" LG TV was broken. Clearly dropped. Mount was even bent. My Subwoofer doesn't work anymore. My AV receiver is scratched up. There is just a whole list of reasons I regret using this company. I have been telling everybody I can to avoid moving companies like this, and we have been in contact with the Better Business Bureau to hopefully prevent anybody else having to go through this. The guys that they sent to pick up my items are careless, and state that if things get damaged they are not responsible. Royal Moving and Storage- more like Royal Disaster. The WORST moving company I've ever dealt with. If I could give them 0 stars I would. DO NOT HIRE these unprofessional and deceptive scammers. They should be out of business. My husband chose Royal Moving because the preliminary estimate seemed competitive and the estimated delivery timeline seemed reasonable. We were promised a 7-14-day delivery window. Even though several large furniture pieces were no longer on the moving list/BOL, on the day of the pick-up, the quote increased by almost $2,000. At this point, we had no alternative, so we were forced to go with it. Our possessions went from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and were held at some desert warehouse for no reason, for the next 16 days. Finally, after 16 days, the truck with our property left for Florida. It took an additional 5 days to reach Jacksonville. During this entire time, we were consistently misled, denied tracking updates, and we were misinformed about the truck's location or delivery timeline. The salesperson and dispatch kept lying to us - my husband was told (or rather texted because they don't know any other way to communicate with clients) that that truck was on the way while our possessions were still detained at some warehouse. We had no feedback from dispatch, and were left completely in the dark. We ended up sleeping like refugees on the air mattresses because, instead of 14 days, it took Royal Moving 21 days to deliver our furniture. The offense to the injury was that our bedroom furniture arrived damaged and battered, the sofa had stains, dining set my daughter's bed frame were scuffed, our 4' garden sculpture was shattered into 3 pieces and our daughter's mattresses went missing. We're also missing 2-3 additional boxes, but hey, they delivered us someone else's chair instead. Of course, the payment had to be made in full with cashiers check upon arrival, before we were able to assess all damages and losses. Now, after this horrid and traumatic experience, we have to deal with claims and paperwork through some third-party company to hopefully obtain some compensation for our damaged furniture and lost items. Royal Moving and Storage should not be in business. Don't get fooled by low estimates and empty promises. You'll royally regret hiring them. read more

I ordered the moving service three weeks in advance and scheduled my items to be picked up Friday, September 6, 2024. I received a call on Friday afternoon that they were delayed by a day and would be there the next day. I then received another call on the following day saying the same thing, and it happened again on Sunday. A guy (singular) showed up Monday but couldn't do anything as he was waiting for 'help' to show up. What a great start! I was given a delivery time of 10-12 days, yet all my items showed up on Friday October 10. smh Then, the very rude and crass delivery person who seemed to think he was doing me a favor by delivering my items told me that I had to pay in cash! HAHA. Sure, of course I'm not doing that. After I went back and forth, I found out that this company only accepts Cash-App, Venmo or Apple Pay. How shady is an organization that doesn't even take credit cards? The reason they don't take credit cards is because after you realized that they have destroyed your stuff, you could file a claim with your credit card company. You can't do that with any of the aforementioned services. And I know for fact that they would receive a TON OF claims for damaged goods if they did that. And the driver told that is a different charge i told the driver the front office never mention that to me and i don't recall seeing that rule in the contract, also the moving price went double i called their office and the lady from their office said the driver's quote is correct although she wasn't sure that's correct or not, so i accepted the price and they took my stuff. that was Thursday November the 6th, [[HIGHLIGHT]]by Sunday the 9th i text the lady who works in the office she didn't respond by Monday November the 10th, and she told me she does not work on weekends and she said she'll tell her manager to contact you, but i got no response, by November 11th I called their office the person who answered, i asked him why is my stuff still not delivered it's been passed 5 days and he said that i wasn't in the destination and loading issues, that was an stupid excuse but the driver Jordan told me because i paid in full my stuff have priority should be delivered the next day Nov 7th instead holding my stuff for 5 days[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I hired Royal Moving because they gave me the lowest quote, but unfortunately, that didn't hold up. They tacked on every possible additional fee, making the final cost higher than other companies I considered. One particularly frustrating example was the truck placement. I suggested they park one block over so the truck would be closer to my apartment, reducing the distance they had to carry my belongings. Instead, they kept it farther away and charged me a "long-distance walk fee"--then charged me again to move the truck after I pointed it out. I get that hidden fees are standard in the moving industry, but what's not standard (or excusable) is losing multiple boxes, including my pressed wedding flowers--something sentimental and irreplaceable. On top of that, they lost a box of expensive running shoes, worth roughly $1,000, my husband's Xbox, and another box of miscellaneous items. They also broke my TV. They only allow you to make one claim. So if you discover a week after filing a claim that you're missing more boxes, they will not allow you to claim for it. To make things even sketchier, they only accepted Zelle or Cash App upon delivery, and both apps repeatedly flagged the number as a likely scam. In fact, my Zelle wouldn't even let me pay one of the drivers because it deemed the transaction too risky, so I had to go withdraw cash instead. The movers themselves were very friendly, but let's be honest: you kinda have to be when you're exploiting your customers. I wouldn't recommend this company unless you're okay with paying more than expected and potentially losing some of your belongings in the process. read more

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They show up with a truck, space too small for your load and then tell you we base everything on Ikea sized furniture. What is that is suppose to mean? Of course then they want to charge you more now and go get another truck, holding us hostage to this nightmare for the planned move. We had all of our items listed on the paperwork and come to find out that they gave us the space equivalent to a Walk-in-Closet versus a 1 bedroom Apt. move. Pickup was Friday, with an extra fee added to deliver on Saturday. All weekend very little communication. We drove to meet moving truck that never showed up on Saturday. Crickets at this point. Lot's of frustration, now a hotel room, no bed amongst other necessary items. I could go on and on...... Only 1 Guy finally shows up on Monday (Memorial Day) at 7:30 PM. The 1 guy dropped the night stand off the lift when he got there, then all of the other damaged items followed. Luckily they had a dolly so they can damage your wood stairs and floors as they bump a 240 lb dresser up an angled staircase. Customer Services (which is an joke) advised they would take off the expedited delivery charge of $600 for next day delivery and then reneged on that to $300 less. They said it was within a 5-7 day window and that was that. I asked Royal to pay for the damage to the nightstand and then they accused us of lying about it and using strong language when we were so frustrated about the nightmare of an experience we went though. I have an email where they actually called me a liar. Thank god we took some mirrors and breakable items in our car, as I'm sure more items would have been destroyed. Damaged nightstand and dresser in photos, also Fabric footboard that looked like it got dragged down the street.
