Long over due review…read more IF YOU LIVE IN VEGAS AND PLAN TO MOVE DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!! these pictures are just a handful of the bullshit I've found as I unpack.... I contracted Vegas Veteran movers LLC for a move on 5/16/2020. Upon inspection the last 2 days I have found MULTIPLE issues with the move. A 2 mover team showed up in plain clothes with an unmarked generic penske rental truck that had no indication they were a legitimate company of any kind. They had no ID badges or identification markers such as a company truck that indicated they were a company. They simply looked like they rented a uhaul and came over to help move. 1. Many of my furniture pieces have been damaged with deep scratches and paint from the walls. My large book case was put on its side and slid on the floor, leaving a deep gash in the side that can't be repaired. There are also deep scratches in the finish on the bottom as well. Also, one mover dropped an entire stack of boxes in front of me that are likely broken. I haven't found them yet however as they are in the back of the stacks of boxes and bins which are upside down, backwards and sideways regardless of them saying what is inside and that it's fragile or heavy. 2. My master bedroom set was damaged and scratched and the movers never moved the drawers they removed back into the unit, instead they left them on my dining room floor. 3. They unpacked the bins and stacked them in the garage however they put heavy on top of light items so now my bins are collapsing, my items are likely broken and I will need to replace bins and repack all these. 4. They were smoking marijuana while on the job. My husband smelled it, as well as myself. They took a break after loading and smoked outside my old unit, and also were smoking before bringing the loads into my new house. 5. They stacked my keepsakes on top of Legos. Bins that way easily 50lbs on a bin that weighed 5... they have all been collapsed because of this. There is broken glass and items i have found as well. 6.The king size bed frame left in the garage had 2 drawers in it. Both are broken beyond repair. The foot board was put upside down and it's now completely scratched on the top that it was laid on. Originally they had it laid vertically and I had to ask them to move it horizontal, but they only did this after I moved boxes for room. The fact that I'm being told after contacting them i should have immediately addressed these issues with the crew is unreasonable as i am not going to get into a confrontation with movers and I wasn't aware of the heavy damage done until being in daylight and going through my items. I could deal with the issues of staffing and drugs if my items were not damaged which was my original impression, however now looking with a clear head I see this entire move was an absolute disaster. UPDATE: I reached out to Kirk and explained i had put a stop payment on my check payment due to the fact that my items were heavily damaged and the move was in no way worth nearly 600$. He promptly responded and gave me a discount and apologized for all the issues. I was told the movers that were on my job had been immediately terminated, and they apologized for the issues this had caused. I do appreciate the fast and reasonable resolution to my experience, however I want others to be aware so they can decide on their own. Update 2: I continue to find more and more items broken and damaged as I go through my garage. The master bedroom furniture is damaged beyond repair and keepsakes from my time in the military are broken and ruined. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!!

Also before I continue allow me to share why I picked this company...... I am a Military Veteran of over 10 yrs and I enjoy any opportunity to give a Veteran hiring company my business. Now I will continue with the complete debacle which became my attempt at hiring this moving service. I sent a request initially and was sent a generated price quote type of message explaining rates and days and hours of availability. I have been moving out of my house for about 3 weeks but the last of it..... I was tired and just wanted it professionally done. I picked the Tuesday date at 8am till 10am. I was sent a confirmation of the above date and time and I was messaging with Kirk and he was going to bring three guys with boxes and packaging material. At this point I felt confident to schedule other companies to come in at various times and also rearranged work schedules to ensure both my girl and I would be there to attend the moving. The morning of I was already ensured that the truck and crew were going to be on the way and would call me once they were 30 mins away. I received NO such call and when I did finally speak with Kirk he told me that his driver called in due to a "personal" issue and would not be able to make it there in the morning. Before I continue I'd like to mention before all of this that Kirk tried to subtlety send me a text confirmation for a 12pm time instead of the agreed upon time of 8am. When I pointed this out to Kirk as a mistake from what we agreed on he then confirmed that I did indeed confirm a 8am time. Now let's continue shall we....... the morning of I finally get ahold of Kirk and after he gives me his reason for not being able to be there at 8am, he then tries to convince me to take a later time block of 12pm to 2pm. I explained to him again that this wasn't possible since we both had work to go do at that timeframe. Kirk asked me when we would be off work and I explained that we would be be available after 6pm and 630pm. As a form of trying to make amends for canceling on me the morning of he told me that he would have his crew and truck at my house at 630pm if that would be ok with me. I explained to Kirk that the 630pm timeframe would indeed work for me. Kirk once again apologized for the inconvenience but ensured me that he would make it right by me and I believed him. Fast forward to 6pm now........ my girl was able to get off work about 10 mins early with anticipation of finally being moved out of this house. I arrive to the home followed by my girl and he 615pm comes around. I trying calling the two numbers given to me by Kirk to see how far away they are. I must have called 30 times with getting Voicemail over the course of 1 1/2 hours!!! I waited in 36 degree weather for over almost 2 hours just trying to get ahold of anyone at this point but to no avail. At this point I'm wondering what am I going to do? I was able to get ahold of Kirk hours later and apprised him of what happened and kept asking in return where were you at? He sounded like he had no idea what I was talking about and didn't have any idea where his moving crew was at. Of course Kirk apologized and told me he was going to call his guys and found out what happened and he promised me he would call me right back....... well that phone call happened 7 hours ago without EVER receiving a phone call back from Kirk or anybody. I can't express how horrible it was having to deal with this BS. I love supporting my fellow Veterans but I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE anyone from using this company in the future as they truly DON'T have their clients in mind at all. I have since contacted another company and they have already gotten me a truck for tomorrow at 10am and already conducted a virtual walk through. I will review this new company after I get to experience their level of service since Veteran Movers don't value theirs at all.

I thought the move would take around 4 hours. The movers were taking their time and very slow. It ended up taking 6 hours. They also damaged the wall getting the sofa out of the first apartment which could have been avoided if they had taken their legs off the sofa. We had everything packed and ready to go so it was only some tubs, boxes and furniture. They charged by the hour. Not sure I'd use them again. I booked Moving Brothers through the U-Haul website to help move my belongings from a storage unit…read moreto my new home. I paid in advance for two movers for four hours on a Sunday morning. When I made the booking, I accidentally entered an incorrect phone number. That was my mistake. However, my email address was correct, and when I hadn't heard anything by midday the day before the move, I reached out to them myself. They replied that they had been unable to contact me because of the incorrect phone number. While I understand that, they still had my email address and could have contacted me there, especially since I had not yet been given a confirmed arrival time or been asked for the address of my storage unit yet I had pre paid. At around 6:00 p.m. the evening before my scheduled move, I finally received a phone call. Unfortunately, the conversation quickly became unpleasant. I was told they would no longer honor my booking as agreed. Instead of providing two movers for four hours, I was told they would send four movers for two hours. I explained that this would not work for my move and was not what I had booked or paid for. My storage unit was drive-up, so having additional movers for less time did not provide the same service and would likely have resulted in additional charges to complete the move. During that same conversation, I was also told that I should cancel my U-Haul moving help reservation, request a refund through U-Haul, and then pay Moving Brothers directly instead. I was uncomfortable with this suggestion. After the incident, I contacted U-Haul and was informed that their service providers are not supposed to direct customers to cancel bookings made through the U-Haul platform in order to pay them directly. That made the request even more concerning to me. Rather than discussing possible solutions professionally, I felt I was spoken to disrespectfully. During the call I was told I was "cheap," and the representative said that people in Las Vegas don't want to pay for movers. The call was then ended. I called back because I was extremely concerned. I was due to move at 8:00 a.m. the next morning and had been relying on this booking for weeks. Again, I explained that I simply wanted the service I had already paid for. The conversation ended abruptly once more. Later that evening, around 9:45 p.m., I received a text from them asking whether I had found another mover. Shortly afterward, the representative called again and repeated the same offer: four movers for two hours, explaining that I would need to pay more if the job took longer. I declined because it still was not the service I had originally booked. Once again, I found the conversation to be unprofessional and discourteous. This review reflects my personal experience. The biggest issue for me was not just the proposed change to the booking, but the timing and the way the situation was handled. Having the terms changed the night before a scheduled move, after I had already paid and made arrangements around that booking, left me in an extremely difficult position. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Moving Brothers. If you choose to book them, I'd have a backup plan in place in case your booking changes at the last minute.

I cannot determine whether these items were removed during the move or left behind due to the disorganized packing process, but they were present before the move and not accounted for afterward. In addition, my bed was damaged, and my couch was left heavily soiled after being lifted over a railing to bring it into the apartment. One of the movers also asked me out after the job, which was inappropriate and unprofessional. Overall, the experience was unreliable and required unnecessary follow-up on my end. I initially contacted another moving company for an interstate move from San Diego to Las Vegas. Then, just 3 days before my scheduled move, that company called and tried to more than double the price!  leaving me in a total panic. The crew arrived right on time, very happy to be there and eager to start. They handled my belongings with care, and made a stressful move almost seamless. Off the bat, Alona was incredibly helpful and professional in the info gathering phase - asking all the right questions so that no surprises come up for us, or for SBM. She was able to give me a price range for our move, but assured us that a firm price will be supplied once a visual assessment was taken. At the end of the call, she scheduled a video call at an agreed upon date and time for us to walk through our apartment with their estimator. The visual assessment call came exactly as scheduled, and had it not been for some technical difficulties on my end, it went without a hitch. A day after, Alona supplied us our fixed price proposal for our move. The morning of our move, Tristan texted me to let me know that the movers were en route. They actually got to our apartment complex early, but didn't ring the doorbell until the agreed upon start time of 8:30. At 8:30, Jett, Jose and Thomas got to work right away. Even though we were on the 3rd floor of our building that was without an elevator, these gentlemen made quick work of our boxes, furniture and belongings. We did our best to box our things up nicely, but the Team took great care to wrap furniture with the moving blankets and plastic wrap they had brought with them to mitigate any potential damage. In less than 3 hours, our apartment was emptied and our belongings were stacked neatly into the 20' Uhaul they had rented for the move. The drive out to Texas for Jett and Jose could not have been more difficult. We knew this first hand because we drive a nearly identical route just a few hours behind. It rained, then the sun came out, then it stormed. At the Arizona and New Mexico border, the moving truck had to take a detour on to a state road because of a train derailment that caused the I-40E to be shut down. Heading into Texas from New Mexico, there were reports of tornadoes that had touched down. All this to say that the Team went above and beyond to trek through some craziness while ensuring the safety and security of our belongings as well as staying safe on the road themselves. When we finally arrived in Texas, Jett and Jose got to our new place before we did. When we got our keys and opened the doors, they got right to work offloading the truck and moving our things in. Again, they moved quickly and efficiently, despite the humidity. Before we knew it, the truck was emptied and boxes were placed where we asked them to put them. We honestly could not have asked for a smoother move. Jett was quick to communicate through text with updates. Everyone on the Team was extremely courteous - I even had to ask Thomas to not address me as "sir". If you're looking for the cheapest move, Seven Brothers Moving isn't that, but if you're a believer like I am, that you get what you pay for, Seven Brothers Moving cannot be beat. Highly recommended.
