The building that this restaurant is in was once a British pub. The pub had amazing burgers and Tuesdays were BOGO burgers. COVID took out the pub and my family hated to see them go. My daughter lost her first tooth at that pub, such good memories of years past. There are still Guinness signs hanging behind the bar. Seeing those old signs brought a single tear to my eye. One door closes and another opens. The restaurant that now calls the old pub their new home is great! All is good with the new place, you might even say great. The interior is not that of a pub anymore. It has been completely redone and the dining room is quite nice. I wouldn't call it a quiet cozy little romantic restaurant, but it could be if that's what you need. I would be willing to take my kiddos to the new restaurant, as long as the six-year-old boy is acting like a human on the day we decide to go. There is a full bar too. I feel that anyone can stop in for any occasion a fit right in. I don't remember the names of the dishes that my wife and I had for dinner but the food was very good. We kept it simple and we both had chicken dishes. If you want to step out and explore culinary culture they offer many appealing options. The food was fresh and light. The spices that they use are aromatic and flavorful. I am guessing that there is a strong Nepali influence. The beauty of the restaurant scene in Arlington is that there is so many different authentic cuisines from very specific regions. If you wanna have Indian food in Arlington you have to consider what kind of Indian food you want. If you go to downtown Fort Worth an Indian restaurant is an Indian restaurant. Nepalese food was new to me. I'm a fairly adventurous eater but, honestly, I won't try just anything. If you are like me, just know that Nepalese has hints of other South Asian flavors like Indian food--richly spiced and layered in flavor, nicely cooked veggies. First off, the atmosphere is great! We used to go here when it was JR Bentley's. The bones are still here, but they have really cleaned up the place! Lovely exceptional knowledgeable staff. The housemade pickled white radish (mula ko achar) is excellent and worth the trip alone. The sel roti fried rice flour rings were unfortunately a little stale when we got them. I ordered the momo dumplings with the spicy chili sauce and indeed it was! I had an imported light beer from Gorkha, which was crisp and nice for a hot day. Found a Nepalese restaurant in Arlington because the police had the streets blocked off the downtown area. Adorable little building inside and outside. The staff are very nice and accommodating as we slowly worked our way through the menu. We were given a complimentary appetizer (Selroti) with a pickled veggie to snack on. I settled on Chicken Sizzler. It sounded simple but the presentation and flavors were way above my expectations. My sponsor ordered the Jari Chicken. She was astonished by the beauty of the dish. What a cute little restaurant in Arlington! I came here on a Monday with some friends to get dinner. There's a small parking lot in the back and front with some spaces but was mostly empty when I got there. The inside is decorated really nice and staff was super friendly! I ordered the momos and went with the chow mein as well. We also got something resembling a donut and chutney as a complementary item to munch on while we waited. I really enjoyed the momos and the chutney that came with it. There were a good bit of veggies in there and easy to share with others! The chow mein was also quite tasty and liked all the veggies in there and the Kala Chana pieces! It was a good amount of food for the price and pretty fresh which was quite nice. If I'm in the area, I'd love to come back here for another meal! Definitely visit if you would like to experience Nepali food as it was pretty mildly spiced. read more

By far the BEST and most DELICIOUS Nepalese food I have ever had in the United States!!! We ordered the Crunch Salad, Chicken Curry, and Butter Chicken. The deliciousness started with their starter seasoned pickles which were tasty. Then we were beat down with the massive deliciousness of our main meals. The sauces for the curry and butter chicken were thoughtfully made and one can tell they were meticulously made with love and a whole lot of time. Simply delicious!!!!! The restaurant itself is small, but feels intimate and like home. The service was also wonderful as they continuously checked in on us to make sure everything was okay. My first time here I came for Mother's Day with my family. First off I had great service just walking in and at the table constantly getting checked up ok for any type of service and help to pick out my food. The food was amazing the naan was very fresh and I got the butter chicken which was a staple point for them and tasted just as good as it looked. Something interesting - many people go to Tex-Mex places and most in a party like the food but, just to be on the safe side most Tex-Mex places also offer a hamburger and fried catfish. I'd been in Hospitality for decades and enjoy all types of foods yet I'm still learning to "enjoy" tough goat !! I have been here four times in just over a week, such was my delight at discovering it near UTA. Generous portions that most of us pack something home. Attentive and courteous staff. While most people might get impatient with the slow service, I like it as that allows for a pleasant dining experience. Good food and good company go well. I have been waiting for this place to open for quite a while and it was worth the wait. The dining room is functional, calm and pleasant. The staff was very attentive. They brought out complementary pickled radish and another item and both were very good. We ordered Goat Secura, Royal Kofta Ball and naan. The goat was perfectly cooked in a tandoor, and it had spices that I can't ever remember tasting. The vegetarian Royal Kofta Balls were in a spicy sauce which was perfect.
