It was easy to schedule an appointment with Nailaland, just give them a call and book. The removal fee was $15, and the cost of a new set varied from $70-90+, depending on the chosen design. Chloe, my nail technician, was very patient during the removal process despite the big jewels flying everywhere as she was filing it off. After showing her a photo of the new design I wanted, she skillfully delivered a pretty finished product that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately, one of the butterfly wings broke after I got home, but Chloe was able to schedule a free fix after I contacted her. The salon accepts Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal as payment methods. I highly recommend coming here for quality Japanese nails.

First appointment in November: I was excited to try this salon and easily scheduled an appointment via text. However, despite confirming the time the day before, I received a text 20 minutes before my appointment (while already driving the 25-minute distance) asking if I could come later. I explained I was on my way, but we still started 30 minutes late. With a time commitment after the appointment, the technician rushed through my nails, and I didn't get the design I originally wanted. I did try to be understanding during this first appointment because the traffic + weather that day seemed to have pushed her client schedule behind. Second appointment in December: Hoping for a better experience, I booked an appointment to get my nails done for the holidays. I arrived on time, texted the technician to let me in, but received no response. After knocking for nearly 10 minutes and calling, someone else opened the door and said they'd contact my technician. Several minutes later, I was informed she had a flat tire and wouldn't make it. The technician never reached out to notify me or reschedule. I couldn't wait due to my babysitter's schedule and the long drive, leaving with wasted time, gas, and no nails done for Christmas. Unfortunately, both experiences were poorly managed, and I can't recommend this salon.

I usually go to Kate or Nikki, but I've also had my nails done by Betty and Amy as well. You can tell that everyone here is very thorough and don't rush and my sets last for a long time and personally, I've never experienced any nails breaking or have been dissatisfied with the service or results. I also love that I don't feel pressured for a certain service or style like I have at other salons and they've even recommended certain colors or add-ons to enhance the vision I'm going for - whether it be a slightly different color to prevent fading or a color that might pop better against my skin. I'm not usually a design girly but here I feel like I can trust Kate and Nikki to try something different that maybe I don't have a specific vision for. I'm not one for super long nails either but the short almond suits my nail beds really well and because of how the staff does my nails, I feel like it isn't bothersome until I need to get a new set. The aesthetic of the salon is super clean and bright, making it feel relaxing and luxurious at the same time. I also feel like the price is pretty reasonable compared to what I've heard other salons charging. Since I started going here I have not regretted it and definitely recommend.

Despite it being so close to the end of the day, the entire team welcomed me and worked together to help me right away. Nikki was my main nail artist, and I couldn't be happier with the results. She was efficient, professional, and paid close attention to detail. The set turned out exactly like the inspiration photo I showed her and exceeded my expectations. Not only did my nails look amazing, but they also lasted for over two months, which speaks to the quality of her work. I truly appreciate the team's kindness, dedication, and excellent customer service. Thank you for making me feel taken care of, even at the last minute. She did a very basic job. She barely did any work on my nails before starting powder and didnt even buff down the powder. No massage either. I was charged $50 for this and I would not pay more than $30 max for something like this. After i expressed concern that $50 is a lot especially for no acrylic nails and just painting my nails .... she started talking in Vietnamese to her coworker ( most likely talking crap lol ).
