I was forced to go here by my insurance. The bodywork appears to be fine. However, i had to take my car back bc they did not connect the lighting correctly. The LED lights on my door were not working. In the most of having an appt set up to take the car back to them for it to be looked at my car wouldn't start. I looked under the hood and notice the battery was not secured AT ALL. It was basically thrown on top of area where it was suppose to go. I asked them to look at the battery when they were fixing the light. They claimed they did and today again my car will not start it's as if there is a shortage in the wires or something. She handles her business with integrity and thoroughness. She was very kindhearted in her interaction which is over the top in my books as a person who has 10+ years of experience in it. I got my car back before it was originally due and it's looks in better shape than ever. Even the customer service rep was awesome. She was well-mannered and attentive. They explained what needed to be done walking me through the proposed work, always timely and thorough and kept me up to date as the work progressed. The adage BUYER BEWARE certainly applies at this dealership. I purchased a 2007 Toyota RAV 4 as a third vehicle to be driven by my kids. Paul Ahadi, the owner, worked with me and we had discussed pricing over the phone, prior to me driving to the auto center. I test drove the car and all seemed fine. The car was very clean, inside and out. I told Paul that I wanted to purchase the vehicle but that I had plans to have my mechanic look it over and on the off chance they found something wrong I would like to be able to return it. That's not going to happen I was told because we have already had our mechanics go over it and it's a great car. But what if they find something I said and he said then you bring it back and we deal with it. And what if, not that this would happen, but what if they said they didn't recommend buying the car, and Paul said you bring it back but that's not going to happen. I said ok...please don't waste my time if it's not going to pass and he again reiterated that it was a great car, had been Maryland inspected, etc. So knowing that my mechanic was going to look it over and that, based on our conversation, I could bring it back AND given that RPM Auto Center's own literature says " PRE PURCHASE INSPECTION: ASK THE DEALER IF YOU MAY HAVE THIS VEHICLE INSPECTED BY YOUR MECHANIC EITHER ON OR OFF THE LOT" I proceeded with the sale. And you know where I'm going with this...THREE mechanics looked it over and said they would not recommend purchasing because the transmission fluid smelled and was burnt...both indicators that the car was not properly maintained and perhaps driven hard. When I phoned Paul to tell him I would like to return the vehicle he said he would not take it back because there was no physical evidence that anything is wrong with the transmission. While that is true, that is not what we had discussed and that is not to say that poor maintenance of the vehicle won't result in a bad transmission a few months from now. What happened to his mechanics looking over and maintaining the vehicle? Did they miss something so obvious or was it a deliberate oversight? Needless to say there were several exchanges and I felt that RPM Auto Center grossly misrepresented the care and condition of the car. Drove 135mi to do business with this dealership because they had the exact car I was looking for. I called and spoke to a salesman before I made the 3+ hour drive about the car being priced well over blue book and he seemed uninterested in selling the car. After about 2 months and 2 price drops (bc it was overpriced like i said) I drove up to buy it. Lucky me I got to deal with Greg the salesman which Im sure was the same uninterested salesman i spoke to over the phone. Greg was so rude it was ridiculous! He wouldnt answer any questions during the test drive. My mom had to use the restroom after the long drive and he wouldnt tell her where the bathroom was! Terrible Terrible service. needless to say I left there and went to another dealership with the same car for cheaper and got the best service Id had all day in a matter of minutes! And RPM still has that car on the lot probably bc its still overpriced and worlds rudest salesman GREG! its a sketchy looking place anyway wouldnt give them a dime. read more

I am from Baltimore, Maryland and my husband and I needed to look for a new car so we went to Laurel, Maryland, looking to purchase a used car. I stopped by several dealerships and came across RPM Auto on Baltimore Avenue and I met with Massi and a manager name Paul. I left with a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. Two days later the engine light came on and I took the car to advanced auto and they hooked it up to their machine and it showed that the transmission was going up and that the key was not the original key that purchase and it had been programmed incorrectly. If the key showed lock out symbol five more times it was going to lock us out of the car completely. I contacted RPM the very next morning expressing my concern and their response was to bring the vehicle back to be diagnosed. I informed them that it would have to be early because our 11 month old was hospitalized and had been in the hospital due to breathing complications and they assured me that they would look at the car as early as 8am. I brought the vehicle back to RPM another guy assisted me name Fernando and he placed it on a machine and it showed a much deeper look into the vehicle problem. Mind you I have only had the car for 3 days by now. It took about an hour and a half and Fernando reprogrammed the key and found the problem with the transmission and said that it would cost me $1,600. I am paying a good amount already for this car and now I have to pay for a LEMON car. We have four daughters all under the age of 7 years old and we live a good ways away from RPM and now this!!!! So they said we will pay for 50/50, and of course that is still not right. SO next Paul tells me to purchase a warranty and it will cover 7,500 miles for 1 year and will cost me $550 plus $100 deductible. So I pay for the warranty and I have not paid for the deductable yet. I go home yet to realize that in the process of dealing they have a drill bit (size 3/6) in my right passenger tire. So of course I had to repair that! I've now been waiting for RPM to contact me about my warranty and they have not so I called manager Paul and exercised, LEMON LAW to him and he starts stuttering about how unnecessary it is to get a lawyer involved so he offer to pay my deductible and pay for a rental car until my car is fixed. So he said I would be hearing back from him as soon he has put a claim in with the warranty company. So today (4/15/15) I am in party city with my husband when I receive a call from the warranty company and they are asking me questions regarding when I purchased the vehicle and when did the problem start and when did I purchase the warranty. So of course I answer everything correct and they tell me I do not qualify for the warranty. So I contact RPM again and tell Massi what's going on and she gets on the line with the warranty company and says that I told them that RPM advised me to get the warranty and yes that's what I said! Paul from RPM's response was that you weren't supposed to open your mouth and we heard that you said this and you were on a recorded line. I pay for warranties once a month and they didn't have to know when you purchased the vehicle. Now I said well I want my money back and Paul's response you're not getting your f**king money back, if you want you your warranty money back come back come back and bring your credit card and we will put it back on there. This is terrible. For all this I could have gotten a car from an auction and now I'm in debt and I have a LEMON! Please don't go there. Do your research first. I hope this review can help someone thanks! I've had this car for 3 weeks now and I hope that my family and I don't break down on the side of the road somewhere. Thanks Angel B. read more
