    Iced Mango Matcha
    Brittany D.

Cane after work and got an iced mango matcha and a raspberry tart. I liked the dessert, it was sweet and tart, which I loved. The mango matcha was something that the staff hasn't done before and I wish it had a little more mango syrup. The place was so cute and I loved the coffee wall.

Very friendly local coffee shop that roasts their own beans! They had a remodel a couple months ago and the place looks fantastic. The vibe is super chill, with locals stashed at their corner, but there's plenty more room for sitting. They get Noah's bagels for their bagels, and have some burritos made by a local vendor. The owner Sam is super chill, ask him about why it's called Rrags! OH and the reason why I come here so often other than because it's a local coffee shop and everyone should be supporting local businesses is that they are the ONLY spot in Benicia that makes a Vietnamese coffee fantastically. You won't regret it!

Interesting place. I stopped in last minute to get bagels for work. I didn't know it was easier for them. If you call ahead, I'll do that in the future. I got a dozen bagels, which was rather pricey. 23$at Noah's bagels, and they charged me 55. So much for planning. A cute little coffee shop. It looks like the regulars go in there and I'll come back for like a breakfast sandwich. I'll try it we'll see. It smells good in there and their menu was pretty large. I'll have to take more time to figure it out. I'm still curious about the $20 up charge. But they are not Noah as bagels but they sell Noah's bagels so I don't know if as a business if they get them at the discount and in charge the wholesale rate, I don't know. I realize everyone has to make money. I'm all for it. Hey make your money, honey, but a 20 to 30$ difference for me. That's huge .. by bad...I will plan better next time.. Will I try them? Yes, will I be back? Yes, just because it's a local place and I live right down the street. I'll do it on a Saturday morning whenever I have time just to kick back and take it all in. The young lady who helped me was very very nice and she cut everything in half and she gave me the individual little cream cheeses. So I'm not I'm not complaining. I'm just sharing so I definitely will be back because of how nice she was.

Breakfast sandwich- thin but my Grandmother liked it.

This was a pleasant experience! I stopped by to get coffee and food after seeing this place pop up as a suggestion. I ordered a Lox bagel and iced black and white latte for myself, a breakfast sandwich for my Grandmother and an iced honey lavender oat latte for my sister. We loved our drinks; my latte "tasted like coffee" (and not sugar) and that was perfect. The Lox bagel was fresh and a bit burnt on the edges but nothing too bad or spectacular. I loved the various meat, bread and cheese options for the breakfast sandwich and got a bacon and pepper jack on wheat. My Grandmother liked it. The place was chill but definitely busy. The staff were patient and helpful as I looked the menu. The place was busy but clean and I was able to find a unoccupied table inside while I waited for my order.

I'm a stickler for excellent customer service and the cashiers at Rrags get an A+! They offer a large variety of coffee, baked goods, and food items that can be enjoyed from breakfast to dinner. I tried the morning glory loaf and the caramel macchiato - both were delish. My daughter enjoyed the Lavendar Oatmilk Latte. I'm excited for the many other items we'll enjoy on our many other visits. The interior is aesthetically pleasing. I love the mailboxes that hold the coffee beans - very original. I like what Rrags has brewing!

Rrags Caffe is such a hidden gem! The coffee is rich and smooth, the food is fresh and flavorful, and the vibe is super cozy; which is perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. You can really taste the care they put into every dish and drink. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The breakfast egg sandwich hit the spot, the lox bagel was chef's kiss, and don't even get me started on those apple & blueberry fritters!!! But I highly suggest coming as early as possible because they run out of pastries quick! I came back the next day for another blueberry fritters and it was all sold out! For drinks, I ordered their Royal Special Mocha and it was, like I said, rich and smooth! Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to again and again.

Every now and then I get a craving for a bagel breakfast sandwich and that's when Rrags comes to mind! Service is always quick and the food is always so good. The breakfast sandwich is somewhat customizable so you can add toppings to your liking (based on what they have). FYI - the parking lot is small and usually fills up. However, street parking is always an option!

Iced Honey Oat Latte, Iced Black and White Mocha

I came here to study a little with my boyfriend! It was a little rainy so I thought a hot honey and oat latte and toasted bagel with cream cheese was going to perfect for the cold weather. My boyfriend ordered a toasted Asiago bagel with jam and butter and an iced black and white mocha. I sadly received an iced honey oat latte but it's okay, I didn't mind too much so I just kept my drink. I tried the black and white mocha which was extremely sweet, opposite from the honey oat latte which just tasted like milk with espresso. On the other hand, the toasted bagels were delicious!! Perfectly toasted and was ready a couple minutes after I ordered. We sat in a corner of the cafe which was nice with having both the window and cozy interior of the cafe to look at when doing my assignment. All in all, not the best coffee but great bagels!

Since we've been boycotting a certain coffee establishment with the mermaid logo, and our once coffee spot that is now owned by a private equity firm, we wanted to go to a locally-owned coffee shop and support them instead. My friend, who also happens to live in Martinez, found this spot on Yelp and we all drove here. We arrived there with a couple of hours to spare before they closed. It's a small, charming and quaint coffee shop with plenty to offer like baked goods and pastries. The young lady working at the counter was friendly, accommodating and provided us with answers to our questions and explained their menu. My Martinez friend mentioned that he wasn't aware this place even existed and that his kids went to school just a couple blocks away. They've been in business for 13 years, and she actually graduated from the same school that his kids went to. I ordered an Iced Pistachio Latte (not too sweet), while my friends ordered a hot drink (regular latte, I believe) and another iced drink. And yes, one can ask to customize the sweetness level to your preference. We also got a slice of Pistachio Nutella Coffee Cake and a Strawberry Coffee Cake. Coffee is good (that's all we can ask for) and she gave us a generous portion of the coffee cake since there was three of us to share the cake with. My friend said he would definitely return again since he knew this place existed and continue to support local businesses.

They have a wonderful selection of coffee drinks, both seasonal and non-seasonal. I got to try a few of them. The major standout to me was their Jalapeño mocha. I know it sounds crazy, but whatever they do here works beautifully. Its flavor profile has both spicy and sweet chocolate to it that I've never had in a mocha before. Also, the spice level is not bad. It's just a little kick of spice! I also tried their gingerbread latte and their butterbeer latte. The butterbeer is very sweet with a strong butterscotch flavor. I loved it! Their gingerbread latte was the perfect amount spices and sweetness as well. For food, I tried the breakfast burrito with the chili verde and their avocado toast. Both were exactly what I wanted and were delicious. I will definitely be returning to Majestic Cafe the next time I'm in Benecia.

Once the correct drink was located, instead of a normal clarification, I was corrected with a snide attitude and visible annoyance from the staff behind the counter. I work in healthcare. I deal with stressed, confused, sick, frightened, and sometimes outright rude people every day. Clarifying questions are part of interacting with human beings. A customer politely asking about an order should not be treated like an inconvenience. What struck me most was the atmosphere of hostility and intolerance over something incredibly minor. I even noticed another customer apologizing repeatedly just for asking questions about her own order. That says a lot about the environment. Everyone makes mistakes -- customers and employees alike. Starbucks orders get mixed up sometimes everywhere. That's normal. What shouldn't be normal is visible contempt, eye-rolling, dirty looks, or making customers feel like they're burdens for speaking up politely. Some of these employees would benefit from remembering that basic customer interaction requires patience, emotional regulation, and professionalism. If a simple clarification question first thing in the morning creates that much resentment, something is off culturally at this location. People are exhausted enough already. A little basic decency goes a long way. On another day with other staff, this place can get 5 stars. I just felt something had to be said it was a little over the top.

The very same girl who I had placed our order with asked me if I had used a different name (?) or if I had placed my order online (??????). She seemed seriously confused/disbelieving that we had an order...even though she was the person who took it. Eventually she offered to start making our drinks but we had already wasted enough time so I asked for a refund. As I was getting my refund, our order miraculously appeared in their work queue. I get that sometimes orders are forgotten and there was a steady stream of customers, but the shop was not so busy that you would not remember the people who placed an order less than ten minutes prior. It was a bizarre interaction. Also, when I asked for a receipt for my refund the barista was unable to provide me one. Not cool.
