So tasty! Good: - Very good value for price! - Very cute and homey - good staff service and food comes out fast - Absolutely loved the crispy pork belly moo dang - great portion size too - The food is very fresh and tastes very healthy Bad: - Smaller place so they run out of seating fast but not too busy on a Tuesday night at 6:30 pm Overall would come again, it's tucked away but so good!

Pretty good Thai poached chicken with chicken fat rice - the chicken and rice are both quite a bit tastier than Rooster and Rice, although the portion sizes are a bit small. I stopped by for lunch and had the Khao Mun Gai (poached chicken over chicken rice, with a side of broth and sauce) and a side of Moo Krob (crispy pork belly). The side of chicken broth was OK and was good to wash everything down. The chicken was tender and moist, and the chicken rice was exceptional. The Moo Krob was nice and crispy. Maybe I'm too used to American-sized portions, but I found the portions to be a bit small, like what you'd get in Thailand, so honestly I was still a bit hungry afterwards.

Was greeted immediately when I walked in. There were 2 people dining inside and several meals to be delivered. They have been here for a few months. The food items sounds amazing. Poached chicken over rice and soybean sauce. The second dish is spicy crispy pork belly cooked with this basil and served with jasmine rice and a fried egg! Can't wait to go home and enjoy this selections. Support this new business in the neighborhood!

not worth the $33 I paid for the meal because I'm still hungry and they forgot my soup that's supposed to come with the meal

Awful value for the amount of food you get. I got the crispy chicken rice meal and a side of crispy pork. $8 for 2 bites of crispy pork thinly sliced into 6 pieces is insane. Not sure why I got less than half the amount of crispy pork compared to what I saw in another reviewer's photo, but they dined in and I did take out. $35 later for my meal and I'm still hungry. They also forgot my soup that's supposed to come with my chicken rice meal. See photos, used a plastic fork for reference on size lol I felt like this was a kids meal sized portion and I'm not a big eater at all.

Authentic thai comfort food (coming from a Thai person). Excellent small menu but every item is legit! Service was also great. As someone in the creative field, the only thing I didn't love were the AI photos on the walls. Really wish they would've incorporated genuine photos of Thailand and Thai people instead of AI slop. Other than that, I'd be back in a heartbeat.

THE FOOD IS AMAZING! The food isn't expensive and the taste is very authentic to Thailand. I recommend getting the Khao Mun Gai and Khao Moo Dang Moo Krob. The chicken is very soft, not dry, and filled with flavor. Same with the Moo Dang, it is a thai taste. The sauce is also good, one of the best I'd ever had. If anyone is reading this, please go and dine in. You will not be disappointed!

Fun Korean dinner spot in SF with huge portions and some creative twists on familiar dishes!…read more We started with the banchan -- kimchi, seaweed salad, and fish cake. Simple but a great start to the meal. The Bulgogi BBQ came out sizzling with a very generous amount of marinated beef and vegetables, served with rice, kimchi, lettuce wraps, radish, jalapeños, and ssamjang. Flavorful, satisfying, and definitely enough to share. My favorite and probably the most fun dish was the Shin Ramen Cup Stir-Fry with Millionaire's Bacon . It's basically Shin ramen transformed into stir-fried noodles with vegetables, eggs, and thick pieces of their signature sweet-and-savory Millionaire's Bacon! Great service!

I was slightly disappointed that it was chunks of meat instead of a whole Leg quarter that was in some of the pics. The japchae was really good, but I could've done without the rice underneath. I think I would've liked it more if the rice under was crisped from the stone plate. K tacos were okay. The fries that came with it were really good. Service was okay. We arrived at 6pm and there was plenty of seating, but by 7pm the place was pretty full.

The restaurant was very clean, with a gorgeous view, and we had high expectations. Upon walking in, a few staff members told us our dog was not welcome. He is a trained, ADA compliant, service dog and we explained this when the first few of people stopped us. When we were finally seated, yet another staff member came over and began questioning us, but this time insinuated that they were looking out for the safety of children and staff (which isn't an issue), and wanted to make sure he wasn't dangerous. But our trained, desensitized to humans, animals, busy establishment, and at-work dog had not made a sound, lunged, or done anything but sit quietly while doing his job. At this point, we felt pretty uncomfortable, and hadn't even been greeted by our waiter yet, so we made the decision to leave. This is really upsetting because the view was gorgeous, the inside was beautiful, and I was hoping to leave an honest food review. Instead I'm left feeling like this establishment needs to brush up on their knowledge of service animals as well as the appropriate way to handle customers with alternative needs.

Decor is more old school and it can get loud, so be prepared to shout over dinner. ------ FOOD 1. VEAL PARMIGIANA (4/5) Tender veal with a light breading that paired very well with the cheese and tomato sauce. Large portion that was easy to cut and share. Wish the edges were a tad crispier. Appreciated that it came with a side (we chose the ravioli). Wasn't life changing, but it was solid. 2. SPICY VODKA RIGATONI (4/5) Pasta was perfectly al dente. They poured a very healthy amount of sauce on the rigatoni such that the pasta was well coated and there were small pools of sauce in each piece of pasta. Sauce has a pretty strong kick to it. It's not overwhelming, but I think it was enough for me to only have a few pieces before I called it a night. 3. TRUFFLE FRIES (4/5) For the most part these are excellent. It's a mountain of very thin, crispy fries (what McDonald's dreams it could be). The truffle flavor is very prominent, and the two different sauces this comes with are excellent (one is a traditional mayo and the other was slightly sweet). However, some of those fries were so salty as to be inedible. Remember to drink lots of water. 4. BREAD SERVICE (3.5/5) Of course, hard to hate on a free bread service. They came out with a big basket of thick sourdough bread slices and a small butter keeper. Since the bread was room temp, it wasn't very special and it was tough to pull apart. But the flavor was there, and the softened butter was appreciated, despite the small butter portion relative to our bread portion. 5. JOE'S RAVIOLI (2.5/5) Unfortunately the only big let down of the night. The ravioli had so little filling that I actually could barely taste it even though I could see it. The outer layer of pasta was relatively thick too, so it overpowered what little filling there was. The ravioli also stuck to each other, so I ended up just biting through multiple pieces of ravioli at a time and scoping up tomato sauce from the container so that I could add flavor to the taste of the pasta dough. Large portion though! ------ ENVIRONMENT / AMBIANCE * Old-school decor featuring red leather booths, ornate wooden banisters, and lots of separate rooms throughout the restaurant. Lots of tables and always packed * Darker ambient mood lighting. Definitely more casual feeling than their sister Little Original Joe's location in the Marina * The restaurant is in the heart of North Beach right next to Washington Square Park, Tony's Pizza, and Flour + Water Pizzaria ------ SERVICE * You really need a reservation to dine here. You could probably walk in and get a seat by the kitchen in the back, but it's super crowded back there, waiters and customers are constantly weaving back and forth behind you, and it's overall not nearly as nice as sitting at a table (not always the case at restaurants!) * Our waiter was fine. He did the trick but wasn't particularly warm or helpful. Was attentive with filling our waters throughout the night
