I have frequented this place, many times. And enjoyed myself. Especially with the bartender, Ms Donna. But about a week ago, I went there on my lunch break. I ordered 2 slices of pizza (Queen sized) and a Greek salad. I should've checked my food before I left the building, but I didn't see the need to. I was never disappointed before... why would I be, now? Well, I got to work and opened my pizza box and what do I see? Burnt pizza. So I call over and tell them my pizza is burnt. The friggin owner proceeds to tell me, that all his pizza looks like that. If he made 100 pizzas, they would all look like that. I went on to tell him that I had dined there, MANY times before, alone and with others and we NEVER HAD BURNT PIZZA! Of course, he still stood by his false statement. So I hung up. I decided to just eat my salad. Guess what? The lettuce was rotten. at this point, I'm struggling not to go and throw the food at them. I love this place!! Not only is the food delicious, the service is even better. Believe it or not!! My bartender is Z! I only come in when he is there. Donna is great as well but Z is awesome!! An awesome little hidden gem in fairburn right by Milam rd so it's very convenient I'm only 10 minutes away. You walk in and it's a very clean nice looking place for a sports bar, you wouldn't know it was if not for the 15 flat screens playing different stuff so plenty to watch. The staff was super nice. Our waitress recommended the double crust stuffed pizza, we were expecting some stuffed with cheese crust or something but it's actually as the name suggests there's this thin delicious crust on TOP of the pizza. Phenomenal. One of the best pies I've ever had and I worked in the pizza industry. We also got some wings and the cheese sticks. Everything was equally as good as the pizza. Stopped in for lunch and a slice, they're very small and have 1 friendly employee working. It took about 10 minutes to get it and I was the only customer. They don't have fountain drinks just cans and bottles. It is next to a tire shop and is not glamorous or well designed but it was clean and the slice was ok. read more

Each time I try to give this place another shot, they always show me why I shouldn't. The owner/manager DOES NOT care about customer service or quality. They are overpriced and just don't care about what people think. If you are in the area, please don't waste your time. I have been received bad service on multiple occasions. I typically order the king size with no cheese and spinach. Although there is no cheese, the pizza is just dry and all they do is place the spinach on the slice and give it to you. They probably do it AFTER the pizza comes out of the oven. HORRIBLE!! read more

Remind you it's a Friday night around 7 PM which was not very busy from the looks of it, the atmosphere appeared to be very nice. I place my order around 715 by which was a friendly server. By by 8:15 PM still no food. I asked the server what was the problem she said we had a great influx of phone orders so we take those as priorities. I ask her just make my food to go please. I was disappointed by my recent food order becuase I've dined in at this restaurant several times ordering several different options off the menu (NY style pizza, wings, salads, etc) and the food and service was amazing! My most recent order was far short of my recent experiences and I was thoroughly disappointed (mad I didn't get any pics).... I ordered my food to-go on Door Dash, and I was not impressed with my order. The pizza looked like Little Caesar's (nothing against little Ceasars, but I paid for NY style pizza that I did not get). They received 3 stars because I also ordered wings and they were delicious; classic ATL style and made just right! I did recieve an extra surcharge for some part of my order that I still don't know what it was for, so I was confused by that. Hopefully the pizza will get better because I'm not wasting my money (order was very expensive) on delivery services on sub-par food, I can order from somewhere else for cheaper and better tasting food! Just moved out to Fairburn from Massachusetts and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I actually was gonna order from somewhere else but they didnt deliver so I took a chance. The male who took my order was great he repeated my order to make sure he got it right, quoted me 45-55 min delivery time but they came at the 30 min mark. The food was, really tasty I got Garlic lemon pepper wings and a cheese pizza . The pizza tasted nice and fresh and cooked perfectly. Good wings but alittle on the salty side. Very disappointing. Ordered wings that were small and tasteless. Sent them back and ordered fish which was much better. Service was slow and it took a long time for the food. Was planning on just ordering to go, but got there a little early so decided to have a beer. Three beers later I finally decided that I should take my food back to the hotel. Why did I stay? The staff. I started chatting with who I assume is the owner. We talked pizza, curry, international travel, you name it. Very personable. Once he got busy with customers, who were also extremely friendly, I chatted with the wait and cook staff. Both very knowledgeable and polite. They had a good beer selection on tap. Once I finally made it back to the hotel I sampled both hot wings and a pepperoni pizza. I requested them well done and they came out perfect. The wings were crunchy without being dry and the pizza had that great chewy crust without being overdone. Being someone that travels a lot, I recommend this place for both the food and the people. My dad, stepmom, husband, and I found this place on our way to the Atlanta airport from a family reunion at FDR State Park. We were all in a beer-and-pizza mood and Rubello's filled the need beautifully! The owners were friendly and welcoming. They wanted us to know that they make their pizza and salads with fresh ingredients, and they were very proud of this. We soon found out that their pride was justified, as both salads and pizza were delicious! We got a large veggie delight and a large meat lovers. They were both amazing. Hit or miss here. Ordered 15 wings and got 1 piece of celery with my bucket of blue cheese. Pizza is decent for a quick friday night meal, wings are what bring me back. Must have new owner because food was more consistant in the past. All in all, looking for a quick bite that is not the normal commissary food like Domino's and Pizza Hut etc., this is eh. My go to spot for wings. The owners know me and always remember how I like my order. I always get the 20 piece wing and fry meal with half mild (or hot, depending on the mood) and half lemon pepper with garlic sprinkles, one ranch, one bleu cheese...they're always so accommodating. I've never eaten inside the restaurant as I always order my wings to-go but the dining area is always clean and inviting. One side is for dining and the other side is more like a bar setting. Visiting from out of town and wanted something that could be delivered to the hotel (you would be surprised at how hard it is to find one, even is a place as diverse as Fairburn). Did not feel like the usual suspects (papa john's, pizza hut, etc.); Rubello's is also the only local place that had a meat calzone. OMG, how can a pizza place not have a meat calzone!!!! It's criminal I tell you. Any way back to the food ... once the order was places (the person on the other end seemed amused by my request for a triple peperoni) it was a fairly short wait for the delivery and I have to say, I have been missing a REALLY good calzone! This one preactically melted into my taste buds and happily puddled in my stomach. My first time dining there was excellent....food, service, and atmosphere. I took my family from out of town and we all enjoyed it. I will definitely return to watch the game (football, basketball, or the World Series). As someone else said I think it's a hidden gem. We sometimes go out of the the way and drive to the city (Atlanta) for entertainment but it's right in our back yard. I can't wait to return for more good food and excellent music. On Saturday, 5/23/2020 a friend and I came to the restaurant to dine in. We were told the restaurant is closing at 10:30p. It was before 10p. We sat at one of the booths. We were told we'd have to sit on the bar side. I told them that due to an injury (I use a cane) I couldn't climb up on the higher seats. I was told by the waiter he didn't feel like cleaning the table after we left so we would have to sit on the bar or leave. Just because he was too lazy to clean the table afterwards is no excuse to refuse a handicapped person service.The table would have to be cleaned anyway since we had sat there. I will be contacting appropriate inspection authorities because it is obvious new COVID sanitation protocols are not being followed. I am going to also file a complaint with the appropriate county authorities in regards to discrimination against a handicapped individual per ADA guidelines.
