Inside, there's plenty of seating, along with an outdoor patio if you prefer to eat outside. Service was friendly, and the food came out without a long wait. I ordered the Fried Fish California Burrito, which was a fun twist on a classic California burrito. The fried fish stayed crispy even inside the burrito, and the sauce added a lot of flavor without overpowering the fish. The guacamole and fries gave it that familiar California burrito feel, and everything worked well together. One thing I appreciated was the tortilla-to-filling ratio. There wasn't an excessive amount of tortilla, so each bite had a good balance of fish, fries, guacamole, and sauce instead of feeling overly bready. Overall, it's a solid burrito with fresh ingredients and good flavors. A double protein bowl never goes wrong! We were deciding what to eat and thankfully landed on Rubio's! I'm a huge fan of how they cook their steak. I love how seasoned and flavorful it is! Their Mexican rice is also incredibly vibrant with flavor, perfectly paired with salsa, avocado, and cheese. My only issue was that our order wasn't ready for 30 minutes after the estimated pick up time but that can always be improved. I want to try their quesadillas the next time I'm there! read more

Quick to-go service and decent parking. Very nice staff. Too bad many of their other locations have closed in the OC area and this location is one of the few still open. The Ancho Citrus Grilled Shrimp Burrito was good with a decent amount of shrimp and beans. I learned they don't have salad as a side to replace chips anymore. Most of the food was ok and this location is kept clean however the chicken is literally not edible.

I have popped in here a few times because it was convenient, not expecting much, but walking away very satisfied. I really enjoy the Grilled chicken Street tacos and The fish tacos are out of this world. I always appreciate a salsa bar and theirs is one of the best. This location is hidden and great since not very packed compared to other locations. Their salsas are probably the best for a chain restruant. I ordeed a shrimp burritto and was disappointed it was not very good. The shrimp texture was a bit soft and slimmy. I was expecting better. Not my cup of tea. The food was way too healthy to taste authentic. I had nachos, which I know are not authentic Mexican food but it lacked flavor and I didn't even finish them. Husband got mango mahi mahi tacos and he liked it. I'd recommend to those that drink diet drinks and count calories. Half stars because husband was ok with his food. Environment was Baja beachy. Restroom had no toilet paper or soap. I told the cashier who promptly went to restock, though this was around 1pm and shouldn't have been empty. read more

I've always seen Rubio's online but I didn't get the chance to check it out until recently and let me tell you it's worth the hype. Every item I ordered has been amazing. Tonight we shared the beer battered shrimp tacos and blackened Mahi tacos. I had the traditional beans and chips while my wife added the corn side. I remarked to my wife that this was the best meal ever that I enjoyed at Rubios. So many great flavors and although the shrimp taco was too much food for her, she plucked out the shrimp and called it done. read more

Stopped by Rubio's recently and I must say that I definitely enjoyed my experience here. Due to Coronavirus there's no dine-in here (as it should be) only take-out. You can place your order inside wait for your meal to be ready & either take it home to eat or eat in your ride which is exactly what my man & I did. He got the classic shrimp burrito and I got the grilled shrimp & bacon burrito. They were both very delicious, only complaint is that they didn't spread out the sauce evenly & as we were both getting close to finishing our burritos the last few bites was all the hot sauce only, making for a very spicy last few bites that we didn't end up finishing. Overall though these burritos were bomb.com! We'll definitely come back for sure, next time we'll just ask for the sauce to be left outside of burritos. read more

My family and I love Rubios. We order from it at least 2-3 per month, sometimes once or twice per week. But this place basically steals your money when you do an online order. They never add in the extra dressings for salads. I'm not saying that as hyperbole or exaggeration. 100% of the time I pay money for extra dressing, they take my money and do not provide the dressing. I've previously e-mailed their manager/corporate about it, but I guess it's just so common that at this point you should just expect that they don't offer extra dressing, but are happy to take your money as a donation. Aside from that, their order accuracy is about 80% or so when you customize. Generally it comes correct (except for extra dressing), but about 20% of the time they get it wrong. Tonight, for example, I ordered extra veggies in my salad and they forgot to do that... so they basically stole $2 from me, which is lame. Also, I kid you not, as I was writing this review my wife just found pieces of aluminum foil in her salad, so now we are tossing it all in the garbage. I don't think I'll be ordering from Rubios for a while, but hopefully this review helps motivate management to get their house in order because they've lost a loyal customer. read more

1st our meal came out slowly 1 person at a time and they forgot 1 of the kids meals. The staff was rude, my son was in using the restroom and they wanted to close and I wanted to get some water while I waited for my son and they would not let me. I was at Rubio's today and I ordered tacos Tuesday I forgot to tell the cashiers that I don't want bacon and I had bacon. When I took it back to the cashier she gave me a very bad attitude and she took the plate and threw it front of my face in the trash and said, next time make sure that you order without bacon. I love me some taco Tuesday, this place is so yummy. And the Coronas are always cold and the service super friendly.

I love Rubio's seafood. I love how they allow you to customize yoir order..such as add lettuce, easy sauce, beans etc...(some features not availble on the app though). The managers and employees are promp and efficient...and especially now with the covid-19 situation, they've adjusted and made take out convenient. They have your app order ready at the time it's scheduled and they even have an option to deliver it to your car upon arrival. read more
