Vanessa was great...my son ordered a bean and cheese burrito but we had no idea that it was made with salsa but Vanessa came over and asked how everything was and we told her that he didn't like the burrito because of the salsa and she said "no problem we will make him a new one with no salsa". Oh rubios !!!! How I never thought I would be leaving you one of these nasty reviews. I LOVE rubios! My younger sister got me hooked to this place and I've been going on a weekly basis with my bf. We are big fans of the classic shrimp burrito. But what's very upsetting is that I feel that because we were probably the last clients of the night, we got all the leftovers. Which sucks because rubios isn't cheap. A burrito is basically ten bucks. Between my bf and I we easily spend 35 bucks just to eat casual food. But the quality is so good we always go back. HOWEVER, I placed our order over the phone at about 8:25 and this places closes at 9. So we get there at about 8:40 we get our food and we are on our way home. As soon as we get home I took a bite of the chips, they were so stale it was upsetting. But the WORST part was the burritos. So the classic shrimp burrito has cheese & chipotle which is my favorite and our burritos had no cheese nor chipotle!!! Our burritos were just filled with beans and a lot and I mean a lot of pico de gallo and cold shrimp. I was so upset and it hurt my heart to leave this review because I never thought I would ever be upset with rubios but for 20 bucks for two burritos that had basically nothing but beans and shrimp I was pretty pissed. I paid good money and I got such bad food. So upset! Every customer should be treated the same no matter if they are the last ones for the night. read more

So I ordered some food from rubios on DoorDash. The order got delivered completely incorrect so I called rubios to complain. The manager was very accommodating and made me a fresh plate of what I originally asked for and gave me a free meal for next time I come in. He even offered to give me my cash back along with my freshly cooked replacement and tried to send me home with a free drink or water bottle. Even tho it was frustrating I had to go through that the manager was very helpful so I appreciate that. The food is always good here! read more

One of the best places you can go to get food!!! The environment here is superclean, The staff is friendly and the prices are definitely decent for the portion size and quality. I ordered from this restaurant last week and was very disappointed. I ordered guacamole with chips and got a bucket full of chips and barely a tablespoon of guacamole. I also asked for salsa and did not receive it along with a Coke that was MIA. So this week I tried a different Rubios off university in Riverside and thank goodness they restored my faith in the Rubios restaurant! I normally don't post about food places but this particular time I will make an exception. I am a frequent visitor at rubies and have never experienced such poor service at this particular location. We waited about 25 minutes for our food and patiently as we watched the customers who came after us receive there orders and finally the female employee approached us and asked for our receipt then 5 minutes later bring out our order and never apologize for them forgetting us. Sadly I won't go back to this particular establishment due to the service but I love Rubio's food. read more

We ordered Rubio;s through Grub Hub and what a mess. I have eaten there in person and food was fine. This time was different. My daughter ordered the chicken enchilada meal and I got the original fish taco especial. No guacamole with mine. Tacos were cold. Daughters enchiladas were tiny and DRY. Delivery person said it was because we didn't specify sauce on it? Everything was in little cups. Since when does an enchilada not have sauce ON it?? It was like a dry tube. I normally wouldn't have taken the time to write a review for a fast food place but this particular Rubio's deserves a lot of praise for their amazing service! This was my first time at this location, normally I go to the one by UCR but I was hungry and wanted fish tacos. The cashier was really friendly and brought our food to our booth within minutes! The manager came over to make sure everything was alright, brought us waters and the napkin dispenser to make sure we had everything we needed [we didn't even have to ask]. Ate there twice this week for lunch. Avocado Fish tacos are pretty darn good.

Honestly, I crave these tacos EVERYDAY! Very impressed! My boyfriend took me out to Rubio's about 3 weeks ago. Even though it was really close to closing time, we were greet immediately upon entering the doors!! My boyfriend ordered 2 orders of the original fish taco plates, paid, and then we visited the salsa bar, which was spick and span, with no drippings of salsa anywhere. We sampled all the mild salsas and avoided the hot ones. We sat down in our booth and waited for our food, which only took, at the most, 10 minutes. I took my first bite into the first taco and was in heaven! This was the most delicious fish taco I had ever bitten into in my entire life!!! Even though Rubio's gives you the choice to substitute the rice for either black beans or pinto, we decided on the rice for both of our orders. So not only were the tacos great, but so was the rice! What an excellent choice we had made. All in all, we had a terrific experience and the food was more than delicious! So, needless to say, we have been to Rubio's about 4 times in the last 3 weeks! read more

I'm giving this place 2 stars because I went to the Rubios location in riverside on University and ordered a 2 taco plate and it was absolutely amazing. I then came to this location and ordered the same 2 taco plate combo (so I thought) but when it came out to the table it was battered fish instead. Immediately, literally not even a minute after it was delivered, I told the staff members who took my order that I made an error and ordered the wrong item and that I can't eat the battered fish. Instead of offering to exchange it for me, he charged me again for the new item. (Although the other plate was completely untouched). Bad customer service. Not to mention the tacos were not that great when the second plate arrived. I will no longer come to this location. If you have a few extra minutes save yourself the disappointment, and go to the university location in riverside, it's Much better!! read more
