    Three Tacos Plate
    Jeremy S.

Had a great experience at this Rubio's location! Ordered two of the three taco plates and they were delicious. The tacos that stood out to me was the original fish taco. Very well done, crispy, and flavorful sauces. I liked the battered shrimp taco too but found it wasn't executed as well. Restaurant has free sauces and toppings which was nice, the chips were decent as well. What really stood out was the service, felt the staff went above and beyond in assisting us. Nice and clean restaurant as well!

I needed more rubios fish tacos pronto. The Tuesday fish tacos are $2.50. Nice choices of entrees but I can't getaway from my first choice. These tacos are making me thirsty! Always luv a self serve salsa & drink station. None of that extra charge per salsa nonsense. Salsa to your hearts content. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Ordered the lobster burrito you get mostly rice and beans such a rip off. Service is nice and amicable It's very clean place but that's because there was bare any customers now I know why.

Employees were helpful. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The order that I placed for a specific time was ready . And the online modifications that I did for the order were honored. I ordered during the Labor Day special of 2 entrees for $16. I ordered island fish tacos and a langostino bowl.

Good vibes. Good foods....Although sometimes the portions are not consistent. Always glad there is a salsa bar. Would be great if they can have fresh limes/lemons and chopped onions and cilantro . Kinda long line during lunch time. But not too bad, there are more than one cash registers. Plenty of parkings in front.

This was a first time try for my kids & they both seem to have liked their food. The place is clean and the staff is kind. The food was pretty good; this is definitely a place I would need to be craving to go and eat. I ate the fish tacos 8/10 with black beans 8/10 and white lime rice 6/10. I'm not a huge fan of their tortillas but the chips and guacamole are fire!

My favorite Rubio's ! Great option if you are looking for healthy food, good taste and neat restaurant. Alondra greeted us with a smile and prompt service. Everything is made fresh ( guacamole, rice, beans, salsas) Puerto Nuevo Burrito pairs great with roasted corn on the side and extra garlic butter

The service is always good here, salsa bar is clean, and the overall establishment is clean. I got the fish taco combo special. 2-tacos with a drink for $10. It normally comes with beans and chips, but I wanted to try the citrus rice and there's nothing citrus about it. I would stick to the way it comes.

Don't order online they one put one lime for TWO tacos and NO white sauce that they give. they won't pamper you like they will in person!!

Don't order online they only gave me one singular lime for two tacos, and they gave me no white sauce, which are really famous with the fish tacos. Don't order online. They will not pamper you like they will in person. They will not give you good service like they will in person.

Wild-caught Mahi Mahi substituted with Salmon.

I came to the website in hopes of seeing the prices but none...why?

You can see the prices if you look @ their online ordering.

Do they have the new Keto friendly cheese "tortillas"?

Yes, all of our locations are now offering our Keto-style tortillas as an option. Just ask while placing your order and our team will make them for you.

Location is near Mission Inn on Main Street. Price is on the higher end so plan to pay an average of $30/person. The only thing that was a bummer for us was the loud music for lunch hour experience. The music was loud and made me think it would be best for a club atmosphere? Maybe it was just me but I felt anxiety eating because the music was so upbeat and loud. Music is a big part of the eating experience. I know some people may be fine with it. For example, we had breakfast at Tio's Taco and the music was spot on for the dining experience.

I found out about it through my cousin, who's a UCR alum, and I'm really glad I finally got to try it. The staff were super nice and attentive, constantly coming by our table to check if we needed more water, tortillas, or anything else we might want. Even with how busy it was, they still made sure everyone was taken care of, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was packed, and it actually surprised me because I don't usually see that many people at restaurants in Riverside. The energy inside felt lively but still comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the fresh tortillas. They come out hot and fresh from the oven, and you can literally watch them being made right in front of you, which made it even better. And the best part is they're free. We ordered the carne fajitas and chile relleno. The fajitas were incredible, the meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with that perfect smoky sear that comes from being cooked fresh on a hot skillet. Everything came out sizzling and stayed flavorful with every bite. The chile relleno was also really good, with a nice balance of savory and slightly creamy filling that paired well with the sauce. It was actually my first time trying fajitas, and I can confidently say I'll be ordering them again the next time I come back. I definitely plan on returning while I'm still at UCR to make up for all the years I didn't know this place existed.

We have not been here since the 90's and I have to say, it was much better back then. All in all, there is just no flavor. The salsa tasted like watery tomatoes, our waitress gave us a little side of habanero salsa to incorporate with it but that heat is the extreme for me. We ordered the Mesquite chicken and steak fajitas which were less than average. Not sure if it was just a bad day, but the taste of the protein did not match up to the wonderful smell of BBQ outside the restaurant. The tortillas were just ok, first batch was not even warm. My Michelada was good though. Bummer visit after being away for so long. Looks like the interior could stand a makeover.

They were definitely not worth the price, and, again, our we had to look for our server. During all the waiting and searching both my wife and I suffered with the extremely loud music, and my wife is deaf (not a joke). The music was so loud it vibrated on the table and chair, which bothered my wife, and luckily we use ASL to communicate. Their Mojarra for one, is amazing with some corn tortillas, beans and rice, and lettuce. The lime garlicky sauce on that one, is what I've been dreaming of. It was THE star of the show. Great size for two to share, and we had a blast just eating and enjoying the sights laid out to see. Their pickled onions got a spicy kick to it! I loved the added crunch instead of just having the typical hot salsa. Service was great, with the waiters and waitresses checking in on us every now and then, and I liked that we pay first then eat, so we just leave after we're done! There is a salsa bar that can help add to your meal like spicy pickled carrots, cucumbers, salsa and pickled onions. My favorite part of this place is the art decor. They're all made from materials that were bound to go in the trash, most notably cans that they open for cooking. So you'll see lids and the other material from cans beautifully molded into these structures. It may seem random but I found lots of humor and play thrown into the craftsmanship of it all. Some pieces are like playing I Spy. It was funner to see than a lot of museums I've gone to actually. It's truly just packed with art. I even got to meet one of the artists as he was working on something. He was really friendly. There's a few of them who work on them together and I learned they've been doing this since the 90's! How cool. It's so nice to see all the things they've come up with to create. Go check it out! Definitely a date worthy spot too. My bf and I had a lot of fun walking around seeing what they created.
