WOW! After eating here a couple weeks ago, I ordered take out looking for a great plate of ribs and on my first bite in I GOT A PIECE OF PLASTIC SO HARD IT CUT MY MOUTH!!!!!! I could've swallowed this!?! WHAT!?! How does a piece of hard plastic about the size of half a nickel get into my food? I've ordered from here before and never had a problem. This is the first time. I can't believe it. Just an FYI: Prices on the internet are NOT what they charge you when you get to the restaurant- my ribs were about $1.50 more for the half rack than what is listed online for this establishment. I also asked for sour cream, butter and shredded cheese for my baked potato and was charged an additional $1.00. The sour cream was MINIMAL and it was in the same container as the butter, which I did not like. The cheese had melted into a blob when we got home and I was unable to sprinkle it on my potato, which was the only thing I ended up eating off my rib plate (YEAH right, like you are going to keep eating after finding a huge piece of plastic in your ribs... half a rack WASTED). I was also charged extra for the white cheddar cheese Brussel sprouts, which were good, but I hate that the meal includes two sides and then I get charged more- especially with the prices not being what they are listed online. Good thing they were there though, or I would've starved tonight even though I wasn't in love with the baked potato either. :| My dining companion got a chicken tender platter and it was like a SALT bomb went off on the fries. He had me try one and it was HORRIBLE. There was SO much salt it was like the fries were rolled in it, soaked in it, and sprinkled with the spice once again. We wanted to go back to speak to a manager, but I just don't want to deal with it. Overall, we paid over $30 for inedible food that made my mouth bleed. Never paid $30 for a baked potato and some Brussel sprouts, and I won't again. I will not return. Be careful if you go here- you may end up with blood in your mouth just like I did. I love Ruby Tuesday in Bartow, FL. The ambiance is great, the service is very nice, the food is very good. I love the extensive salad bar with lots of raw food. They have listings with what's in the food. So if you're allergic to something (like I am to MSG), just ask. For a chain restaurant Ruby Tuesday is the best. read more

I may have just had the worst experience ever. I know it's Ruby Tuesday so expectations were pretty low going in. Not sure if there was a manager there or not. Kids supposed to be working running around laughing and joking with their friends, talking on their cell phones while customers are being ignored. Food was awful, servers eating at the bar while working. One stopped in the middle of his burger and fries to run food out to customers. The little girl that appeared to be in charge walking around drinking her Mountain Dew participating in this poor, unprofessional behavior. I sent food back as it came out cold. Staff found it amusing, as well as the little girl that appeared to be in charge. Told the other workers "she had been doing this for a minute" and nothing surprised her. WOW!! read more

I use to love Ruby Tuesday's. Now I don't. They have stopped serving mozzarella sticks. This location, however has always had crappy food. They're always messing up my order. It has ruined my experiences with this place. I don't have high expectations whenever I come here because they always are ruining something but I kept coming back for the sticks! I had such a great time at this restaurant. Samantha, the bartender, was attentive and very nice. Crystal, the manager, came to check on how our dining experience was going. There was a group of 30 bikers that ate there 4/27/18 on our way to Leesburg bike fest from Port Charlotte. Reservation for noon, arrived at 12:05. The table was ready and we were seated right away. Took them 3 tries to get a well done steak out but the manager was courteous about it. Only guff....and one that will keep me from returning....is the hostess(es). I walked in with 2 of my co workers who are black males and I'm a white female, hostess just starred at us, didn't say a word...not hello not how many, not welcome, not ya'll look strange....nothing. The food is consistently fresh and wonderful. Beautiful fresh salad bar. Best crab cakes ever! Try the spaghetti squash. I had never had it before trying Ruby's. It is amazing. Served with marinara sauce and grilled zucchini. So good and good for you, The hamburgers actually taste like a rich hamburger. This restaurant has a wonderful manager she is friendly and remembers all of her customers and most of the staff have worked there for quite awhile and they know what they are doing. We can get in and out quickly for lunch. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and you get a good meal. read more

We ate here a few times while staying in Bartow in June because the servers were just so lovely that we couldn't stay away. (I mean $20 tip lovely, people who do such a great job should not be struggling on Florida's puny minimum wage.) A couple of times we arrived 20 minutes before closing and there was never any eye-rolling or hustling us to finish our meals. The servers keep a constant supply of sweet tea coming throughout the meal and nothing is too much trouble. The food was always decent, tasty but nothing amazing. It's the South so everything is fried and covered in salt and cheese and sugar, so not a good place to go if you're counting calories. The mains are a bit expensive for what you get but the consistently great service and friendly atmosphere are worth it. read more

Tenonyea was our server and she was amazing!! It was a last minute decision to eat here but everyone was very friendly the moment we walked in. Tenonyea was wonderful. Very polite and very knowledgeable of the menu. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. The manager Tonya came by to introduce herself. She was very nice and very pleasant. I'm not in Bartow a lot but really felt the need to write a yelp review on this restaurant because good service is rare these days and for anyone in the area or visiting I assure you that you will receive the same service. One of the WORST rib eye steaks I've been served in a long time. For $19+ I don't expect a prime steakhouse, but the tough, thin, piece of garbage that was served was simply awful. Good server on every visit. Salad bar is always good. Hamburgers are disappointing. When Ruby Tuesday introduced the Triple Prime burgers they were great! Thick patties of juicy and delicious beef. I was willing to believe it really contained Prime grade meat. Now, the burger you get is nothing like the picture on the menu. My burger last Saturday was thin and cooked to a crisp. Totally tasteless. I ordered a Triple Prime Cheddar and it had to go back to the kitchen for cheese and mayo. The Sebring outlet is serving the same dry, thin patty, so I have to assume this reflects a chain wide lowering of quality. My family and I went to the Ruby Tuesday in Bartow on 5/16/16 and I ordered 3 Parmesan Shrimp Pastas and a Ruby's Classic Burger meal. I've never had a problem before until now. I did receive my 3 Parmesan Shrimp Pastas but instead of receiving my Ruby's Classic Burger meal, inside my bag was a basket that one of the employees had already eaten almost all of the food and their fork was still in the basket also. I was very disgusted. I went back inside the restaurant to have them fix the problem. The waitress thought the entire thing was funny which I did not. She proceeded to tell me that the her coworker accidentally placed her food that she was eating where the take out food was. How stupid can you be. I mean does Ruby Tuesday not have a break room. So then they brought out the food that I actually ordered and the burger wasn't even right. I just wanted my money back so that I could leave and never come back. Lesson learned and my advice to you all, please check your orders before leaving any restaurant because you just never know what you're going to find!! read more
