We went yesterday, just after noon. The place was not even 20% occupied. Our waitress came quickly and we ordered everything at once. The coffee tasted as if it had been on the burner since breakfast. I like strong coffee, but I couldn't finish this. I got the salad bar, and was dismayed at the few items on it. There was only diced processed ham as a meat. There were no seafoods, like tiny shrimp or surimi (fake crab). My partner ordered only a slice of caramel cake, but it didn't come until after I had finished my salad. There were two little melon ball scoops of ice cream on it; it didn't look like the menu picture at all. It took quite a while to get the check and even longer to pay. We noticed one hanging lampshade was missing and nearly every wooden Venetian blind was broken. The floors, however were clean, as was the men's room. No management was evident on duty, and no one stopped at our table other than the waitress. We were warned as we entered that something was down, but don't know what it was. Noooo, this is the worst Ruby Tuesdays I've ever been to. I'm a big RT fan, they have cheap, semi-healthy options and good salad bar. So this review is comparable to other RT. If you are looking for a nice restaurant, don't go to RT. You want something fancy, some real cuisine, don't go to RT. RT is good for a basic applebees, fridays, kinda place. I only go to this location because it's near my gym and it's the only thing open late in the area, with the exception of the just-as-ratchet ihop next door. The food: It's standard Ruby Tuesday dining. Menu is the same. The problem: The salad bar here sucks compared to a good ruby tuesday. There's no grapes, the spinach is limp, the selection is low, the popular RT croutons are stale and old. And did I mention, no grapes? As for the menu fare, tasted pretty much the same, except the plates were PIPING HOT, like they microwaved the plates or something. The plates were significantly hotter than the food. Bizarre. The service SUCKS.... It sucks.... bad. Horrible. LOL and yet, I've been here like 10 times. The service is so bad it's a game for us. We go back just to see how much worse it can get. I've talked to the manager a few times and it's a new manager EVERY TIME. We don't get greeted properly, they take too long to bring water and drinks, they're always out of something, out of this, out of that, they mess up the orders, they mess up the checks, I'm actually chuckling to myself as I write this. My family and I went to Ruby Tuesday's to celebrate my grandfathers 92nd birthday which turned into a disaster due to our sever. Donnell our server's attitude was horrendous! He never came back with refills or request and was very snappy with us. At the end of our meal I paid with a card but tipped combined in cash with my family. He picked up the book with my receipt that said "cash" in the tip section and said to me this says cash but I don't see any on the table, he then proceeded to shake the book upside down as if he was waiting for money to come out and said where is my tip. He then rolled his eyes and walked off when I said it was with the rest of my families tip. That was completely inappropriate and it ruined a very special occasion. This place is only good to go to if you're just hungry and can't move another inch to find something better. It is so mediocre that its almost funny. I've been a few times and the service is always pitiful. Its not crowded so its not as though the wait staff should be swamped and yet... they are acting as though they're working 30 tables at a time. The food is mediocre and the salad bar is just pitiful. I had the house soft pretzel appetizer which was very good and my main dish was the single hickory chicken breast top off with that sweet sauce. Decent enough food. A full menu. The salad bar was good, and the hostess was very nice. The pace of service was glacial. I can't understand why, because it wasn't like the place was teeming with people. Our meal took about 75 minutes total. How come it take 20 minutes to bring an iced tea and a soda? Giving two stars was very generous! Service: My parentals and I went to dinner here yesterday. The hostess had no type of customer service training. She didn't open her mouth to let us know our table was ready. She stood there and stared at us until she got our attention. I had to say "Oh, are you ready for us?" She nodded her head! Ugh! That was STRIKE ONE. STRIKE TWO: When we sat down, our waiter came and we ordered our drinks and appetizer. My parents drinks came out... Mine took 15 to 20 minutes. I only ordered a strawberry lemonade! Mind you...It wasn't crowded in there AT ALL. STRIKE THREE: Guess what?... After 45 mins to an hour...Our main entrees came out and never received our appetizer! Oh we were HOT! My mouth was watering for the 4 Way Sampler too! UUUUGH! We spoke with the manager and he apologized for everything. He did not charge us for the appetizer and took a percentage off out check. I appreciate him doing that! Besides all of that... Our food was pretty good. That was my first time trying the pretzel burger there. First thing I look at when I walk into any restaurant is cleanliness and this Tuesday's location leaves much to be desired. Remember, what you CAN see is usually the cleanest part of the restaurant. What you CANT see in the kitchen and food storage areas is probably that much worse. In this case... Flies!!! Flies flies flies. This location also has elected to use vinyl green table clothes which are an extravaganza for mildew and bacteria. It appeared as if the franchise owner is somewhat tight with money cause even my torn vinyl table cloth with the phelt exposed was still in service along with my broken, torn chair. I can understand not having $200,000 to overhaul the restaurant but a pet peeve of mine that was a deal breaker for me was the coating of dust on the lights hanging over the tables. The food was average. Of course they ask you how you want your burger cooked then serve you an over cooked burger patty.. That I think should have been "hand crafted" now that I think about it. Not even worth the complaint. It's almost impossible to get those frozen patties cooked right. One thing that did bother me was this location uses old plastic mugs rather than glass that had started to brown and made my water with lemon look like sewage. Service was decent and server was pleasant but of course that is determined by the volume of patronage at the time you are there. All in all the cleanliness alone is enough to keep me away. How many ways can I say horrible? No wonder they're disappearing! $16.99 for what should have been a half rack but instead got a limp 1/4. This is the worst restaurant I've ever visited. I came here for dinner after 20 minutes of waiting on my food my waiter came by and said "you don't have your food?" You think!! He explained that there was a power surge that resulted in the order never making its way to the back but he put the order back in. Approximately 5-7 minutes later the manager stopped by to apologize and convey the same message but promised the food would be out shortly. After another 8-9 minutes another manager visited and stated the same thing but offered the salad bar. Well thank you, we've been helped ourselves to your salad bar. But it wasn't until after the wait we were seated that we found out that they were out of everything. Wait a minute, like why didn't you just close early? Although not pleased, I understand that with COVID, restaurants have had to go about service a different way. However, things like having plastic silverware when you're going into a restaurant and having a sit down meal is a little over the top. That was the case at this location. To add, we were placed in a booth with a light fixture that was visibly broken. With no light above our booth it made it difficult to read the menu. I had a chicken breast meal....the chicken was luke warm and the sliced tomatoes on top were COLD!! To add, they were out of both Diet Coke and Cole Zero. I went this past Saturday for a late dinner and the service was terrible. My server showed her face only to take my order, which she got wrong; refill my drink once and to bring me my check. I ordered the new Brussel sprouts which were over-cooked and tasted like they had been doused in some sort of chemical. Twice I ordered the new Orleans seafood: from this location and the largo location and the cooks overdo the parmesan cream. I was afraid to ask for another dish to replace the Brussel sprouts due to the lack of attention but noticed a man in a burgundy shirt who looked like he could've been a manager peeking over the wall leading into the kitchen stating at me. When I noticed him, instead coming over to see why I sat the Brussel sprouts to the side, he turned away and went back into the kitchen. This establishment does not seem team or customer-oriented. While I was waiting for a table a young server was up front gossiping with the hostess about a table she took reluctantly that did not leave a tip. I think that's a convo for the back of the house and certainly not for the hostess desk. This possible manager was not the only employee to walk past me while I left my side visibly untouched. Had delivery through doordash, since its during the virus and they arent getting much service thought the food would be good but i was wrong. Steak was overcooked and wrong size. Burger was undercooked and had none of the requested toppings. Mozzarella sticks were disgusting and didnt even come with marinara sauce. Salad had no dressing and the topping were on the bottom. I don't know what time of fish this on my plate it suppose to be Salmon but it has no taste dry and no color. The asparagus is so dry no taste. I sent the first back and had them make another order. But it still wasn't good. The waitress asked if I like the second order I stated no I don't know what that is and I asked for the bill. She asked if I wanted a box really I just told you that I didn't like it. Then she tell me that she would never order fish from a restaurant like this. Ugh Well informed her that I usually get salmon from here and It was good never had this probably. So I guess I will take her advice not come here for my salmon. Well lesson learned cook myself.
