The place was dirty. Food on the floor, beets, pasta, onions, French fries and more. Salad bar had wilted lettuce, which they did refill upon asking for fresh. Ordered a rib eye. I don't know what cut of beef they served but it wasn't rib eye! It was mealy, and not at all a rib eye. They brought a second one, but it was the same. I did not eat it. Server rolled his eyes when we sent it back. The Manager did remove the " rib eye" from the bill. We will NOT be returning to this restaurant. We did tip the server as it wasn't his fault. read more

The food is not great, honestly. I remember the salad bar being better in the past - even those black croutons were a disappointment. The plates were not that clean at the salad bar but they did require you wear a disposable glove for every trip you made. The tomato soup was warm, not hot, and tasted like tomato sauce. No cheese on top, no crackers. We got the appetizer sampler - the spinach artichoke dip was gross, but the mozzarella sticks and pretzels were okay. My partner got the chicken cheesy pasta and was disappointed. It looked gross - like a breaded chicken breast on top of pasta with cheese sauce? I expected like a breaded mac and cheese with chicken strips but what he received was just not good. The service was good though. I would give this place a zero if I can. I placed an order via their online service and when I reached about 30 mins after my scheduled time they told me that my order was being put together, then after 15 min they said it will take another 10 minutes. After 10 minutes the manager came and asked me the order details and said that they never received an order (I received a confirmation email and showed it to them 3 times!) and they don't even sell the said item! When I asked the manager why was I not informed by the wait staff about all this, her reply was sorry, "they never told me and I don't know why they did not tell you. I can make the order for you but it will take some more time"...it was 1.5 hrs past my original pickup time. Of course, I am never going back to RT. I'm not a corporate guy, but I did work at a Ruby's YEARS ago, so I probably hold them to a higher standard than Applebees, Chili's, etc. The service was fine at the bar while my wife shopped. They've relaxed their corporate stance on appearance since my days. First off the service was excellent and that is why I'm giving 2 stars and not one! We came in on a Saturday night and there was no wait, this should've been my clue. Our waiter was very attentive and on top of it but the food was awful. The chicken bacon melt was decent but a small portion for $15. The salad bar was decent and well stocked. The broccoli cheddar soup was Terrible. It literally tasted like a can of Campbell's condensed cheddar soup with no broccoli in site. After a crabby in house dining experience (great staff, crap food) I was forced to give this place a second shot when we needed something close and fast. For $14 I ordered a chicken ceaser salad to go and some other stuff for family. The salad came with no croutons, no dressing... Didn't realize till we got home. Is it seriously that hard to make a salad? Also, the mozzarella sticks were under cooked and not anywhere near golden brown and the chicken tenders were mostly burnt ends and one bite of meat. Hopefully our experience is just because they appear to be between general managers but we had to argue with the hostess about not wanting to be seated in the bar as that was next waitress "in rotation" and we were then seated in an area with a waitress who ignored us for 10 minutes so we went somewhere else! Under staffed, Card machine was down, and the food was not good. I ordered two 8oz grilled steak with shrimp, loaded mashed potatoes, and loaded fries. From the looks of all the past reviews, it seems as if I'm not the only one who has had problems at this particular Ruby Tuesday. The first time was way back in 2019 before the pandemic began. I swore to myself I would never return but caved in when my teenagers wanted to go there in the early afternoon on a Saturday (today - April 29). The salad bar was not wiped down properly and there was stray food everywhere from previous customers. There were un-bused tables all over the restaurant that remained that way until I had my meal, paid my tab and left. The server (Eboney) was abrasive and rushed and even took our order from several feet away by keying it directly into their system as opposed to coming to our table and engaging us more personally. I asked about specials, which I knew from my e-mail there were several, but she told me you would have to have the app on your phone and a special code to gain access to the specials. She seemed frustrated when I asked about this, but I was trying to find a way to feed my family of 4 without spending a hundred dollars on one meal. My wife and I just reluctantly went with the salad bar and the kids ate like kings with the higher priced cooked items (tacodillas and some kind of penne). The food came quickly and was presented well, but the portions were small for the price. The salad bar was decent even though it needed upkeep and cleaning. I surveyed the restaurant and noticed only two servers, one kitchen person, and one plain clothes supervisor working. The supervisor was very kind, but I believe all of the issues I experienced were due to short staffing. The kitchen dude came out to the salad bar, stared at it a minute and disappeared with total disregard for the mess that needed to be addressed. It was almost as if everyone who was supposed to be working either called in or quit and this left lots of work that needed to be done unaccomplished. My heart does go out to the folks that wait tables, as I know they are only making $2.13 an hour thanks to federal mandates and that they are expected to live off the mercy and kindness of strangers who tip well. However, I simply cannot tip well when the service and the environment is not up to par. I tipped around 12 percent just to be nice, but I was just being polite and trying to sympathize with these folks that are working hard to support themselves and their families. I would plead with upper management to really work on bringing this particular location up to speed before it gains the kind of reputation that scares customers away for life. read more

It seems like every time we eat here it gets worse and worse. The service is always fantastic, but the food.... ugh, it's garbage. My husband had the squash pasta... AWFUL. They managed to take something light and healthy and make it into a big greasy, flavorless mess. You can tell they microwave their mashed potatoes, steaming hot outside, but cold in the middle. My daughter had the "chopped steak" off the kids menu. Chopped steak is a hamburger patty. That's it. And it was burnt on the bottom. A 7 year old didn't even fall for them flipping it upside down to hide the blackened crust. The salad bar has been really picked over every time we've been there. I have eaten at this location several times and have never had a bad experience. In all the times I have eaten here, never had to wait for a table, even on the weekends. The one downside to this location is that they seem to cram as many tables into the restaurant as possible and the place could get crowded if the tables do fill up. Me and my aunt ate here last night for dinner. Again, no wait. Our waiter came by within five minutes to take our order. We got our biscuits with our drinks, but always wish there was a never-ending supply of the biscuits. Went up to the salad bar and must have gotten there when the items needed replenished. Our meals came out within ten minutes after placing. Our only wait was at the end of the meal for our server to 1) bring our bill and 2) to come and pick up once we were ready for the bill to be rung up. At that point, our server was doubling up as waiter and bartender, which may have made the reason to the wait for our bill. read more

10/10 do not recommend. There were only two servers trying to do everything in an almost packed restaurant and I felt bad for them. This would have been alright if the food was any good, but it was absolutely terrible. I would have picked McDonalds food over what we got and everyone at our table would agree. The salad bar price was 14.99 which I felt was ridiculous. There is no way this restaurant makes it and the manager really needs to step up and do an overhaul. This was the WORST service I've ever had!!! We were seated promptly but sat and waited 15 before I decided to get up and go to the front and told them how long we had waited and hadn't even been spoken too. Three waiters walked by us multiple times not speaking at all. This is extremely rude. After being there another 10 after getting tea still no one had spoken to us so we decided to leave. The staff is super friendly . I have a 75 yr old Dad that comes regularly and is a talker. They are very patient and very understanding. The FOH Manager is very sweet to him and very professional. Went here for dinner last night and all was horrible.Server who's was Rhone ( this is what was on receipt) never came back to ask how appetizer was. Spinach artichoke dip chips were old and very greasy. Didn not eat. She brought dinner out and left too quickly to even ask for steak sauce. I guess you can say we've been here twice. The first time and the last time. It took 15 minutes to first see a wait person, and that was after I got back up and asked the hostess where was he/she. The salad bar was good, except some rotten pieces of iceburg lettuce and watery ham bits (not a good sign) the place smelled dirty, and looked like it may have been a while since a deep cleaning (ripped up carpet near the wall) ordered cheeseburger sliders that were the worst I have ever had. They were the size of 50 cent pieces and burnt and so hard that they sliced up the inside of my mouth. The piece of cheese they put on them were probably the size of a quarter before being melted into the hard buns. I took one bite and sent it back, now having lost my appetite. Waiter tried to inform me he could have them make more for me but after him telling me that the person who made them was first day training, I declined. Manager was informed and offered me something else instead but like I said, my appetite was GONE! My father, who hardly ever gets out of the house to eat because he is elderly, had a sirloin that half of which he had to spit out because it was rubber. His dinner portion was so small he said- "you know it's bad when you have to eat the WHOLE POTATO, SKIN AND ALL to get full. I hope they change the recipe on cooking onion rings, because that Pancko or whatever they used to coat them with was too dry and hard to chew." It was overall a very bad experience. read more

How are two adults supposed to enjoy their dinner with a child that has already finished theirs and is ready to get up and do something else the entire time?! We literally had the hostess speaking right into our ears on several occasions taking phone orders. I don't know why this isn't done in the back instead of right up front with tables around and customers waiting to be seated. We were also literally surrounded by people waiting for a seat because there is absolutely nowhere for them to wait. The salad bar is right in the main path that leads through the building, with very little space for people to pass through and people to move along the line building their salad. Will not return. I have been a fan of Ruby Tuesday for a while... moved back from CA about 8 months ago and we come here frequently... in most cases every Sunday. Last Sunday my son's bacon bourbon steak was missing bacon... and my Asiago bacon chicken was also missing the bacon and had so much salt on it that the crystals were even getting stuck in my teeth. I do not send food back. Ever. I don't trust it. I told the manager but I honestly think they thought I was lying about it. And before anyone says anything no I didn't ask or get anything for free or discount. I don't complain for that, but to make people aware. You know better you do better. So today my son and I went back. Last week was the first issue so we figured they were off and it wasn't a big deal. Upon walking in I noticed it was pretty dead in there. The salad bar looked as though it had been ransacked. Stuff was tossed around everywhere. Where is the pride?! Then people were sitting around while tables were filthy and needing to be bussed. We were sat by the bar and I also noticed piles of dust swept against the bar. Really grossed me out, but the table was clean and I figured it was ok. So we ordered our food and when it came my son's was fine.. but I again ordered the Asiago bacon chicken (it's my go to) and again NO bacon. I don't understand what the problem is. So I did say something and the same manager came over. I did tell her I was basically done with the place... I should also mention I had to use multiple napkins to soak up a ridiculous amount of oil and grease. My food was swimming on the plate. She offered to make me some bacon or remake the dish... again big nope! I don't send food back ever... I don't trust people enough. She did ask me to come back so I said I would next week. So I paid and went on my way. I brought the leftovers home and tonight went to eat the other chicken breast (it comes with two which is always too much)... well there was a freaking hair in it under the cheese! It wasn't my hair... it was a short brown hair. Needless to say I am done with this place. They need someone at the pass checking for quality... and apparently hair. read more

Haven't been to Ruby Tuesday's in a very long time. I remembered why the longer we sat there waiting....the salad bar was a mess with a lot of bowls empty. Asked for some croutons, waitress said the kitchen would half to make some we said ok she never brought any my salad was sitting there every time she asked did we need anything else. Really??. I ordered a 15.99 dollar plate of pasta with shrimp, not really any taste. Over the years their quality of food just sucks for the price. So, tried Ruby Tuesday for a quick bite. It's a Tuesday, this is not going to be a good review. Ordered a petite sirloin, blackened. Keep in mind the restaurant is pretty empty, it's a Tuesday. Twenty five minutes later I get my food while my companions are eating as slowly as possible so as not to have me eat alone. The steak was over cooked but seasoned well and the baked potato was nuclear hot. Waiter seemed more interested in goofing off with other wait staff than checking on progress of my order. Ruby Tuesday use to be great! I loved their salad bar, and all the specialty salads. Over the past few years, they tightened up the salad bar, eliminating nearly all of the specialty salads. Their menu has a lot of choices, yet I find the food underwhelming as a whole. Tonight I opted for smoky mountain chicken: bbq chicken with bacon and cheese melted on top. It came out looking sad, I could see it had sat in the window. The cheese wasn't really melted, and looked more like wax than cheese. The chicken was about an inch high on one side and paper thin on the other. My second bite had gristle in it, and I was done. I opted for the fresh green beans for a side, and a horse probably couldn't have chewed through them. The waiter cleared our plates, but made no attempt to ask if my food was ok, which clearly it wasn't.
