Deconstructed steak kabob
Gwen P.

I first ordered the deconstructed kabobs, 1 steak & 1 chicken, a month or so ago. They were both delicious, fluffy rice, tender meat, and enough for 2 meals each. Today I had the exact thing delivered and both were terrible! The tiny bit of rice was soaking wet, the meat was tough to the point I could not cut it. There was some seasoning that tasted like chili powder covering everything on the plate. I tried to scrape it off so I could try eat it. I've had a love/hate relationship with this Ruby Tuesday since it opened. It seems the food is very good or very bad and you don't know which until it's too late.

The service was slow. We ended up sitting ourselves. The sweet tea is not sweet at all. Our server Rhona wasn't really too nice. She barely came back and had to get other servers to go find her. The food was okay. The salmon was not too good. The mozzarella sticks were good. The roasted corn was good. Sweet potato fries were good. The Philly cheesesteak hoagie was okay. I went with my mom and niece. My mom had the Philly cheesesteak hoagie. The manager did take the salmon off the order. All in all, it's better to go to the Ruby's Tuesday in West Columbia on Augusta Road. This was my first time here so I'm going off based my experience. Maybe, they were having a bad day.

Extremely low effort, insultingly low standards, and awful quality - a total disaster! Chicken was a rubbery mess, potatoes were rotten (see attached photo), and the "presentation" was insulting. The salmon "salad" was particularly absurd and overpriced. The salad part was a handful of iceberg lettuce and no dressing. Upon complaint, no serious effort was made to improve the situation and no apologies were offered. AVOID this "restaurant"! Hopefully a massive and detailed inspection of this establishment is coming soon.

waited until after my friend was finished eating her wings and fries to question where my club sandwich and onion rings were (30+ minutes later) and let them know, that we were leaving so "never mind". The manager was awful... tall blonde lady, she never came over to apologize or explain. Our server was very nice and brought me the "club sandwich" in a to-go box.... here it is... no Ham and Turkey, so sloppy and just a miss... Terribly management and food quality.

I won't come back to this restaurant because the customer service is horrible and my waiter was not coming back to the table at all. But the food was good.

this place is so slow we've had our card ready to pay for over 10 minutes and the server still has not picked it up.

Spotted this pub as we drove by, coming into town for a stop over on our way to Norfolk, Va…read more fortunately it was within walking distance from our hotel. Such a cute area with boutiques, bakery/coffee shops and restaurants. I was excited for, craving and hoping for fish and chips and they did not disappoint! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful pictures of Ireland's landscape in the dinning area adjacent to the bar room. Great cocktail, wine and beer menu. We had EXCELLENT meals...pot roast and fish and chips! I enjoyed ( never had one before ) an Irish martini.

Now mind you there were a lot of empty tables with "reserved" on them at that point. Fast forward an hour later, because we didn't get a txt from them, we went in to see what the story was. They proceeded to tell us it would be another 30 minutes. Also the seats that had "reserved" on them were still empty! They said they would take care of us, and walked us over to the bar side, and told us we would have to stand at the counter to eat! I was fuming. The other three from my party walked out, while i proceeded to tell the manager this was extremely poor service! All he could say was they were busy. I pointed out the empty tables that were empty when we first walked in an hour ago and are still empty! They finally gave us one of those tables. We were out in an hour and guess what ...... there were still empty tables with "reserved" on them! Would NOT recommend this place to anyone! My suggestion is to go someplace else!! Like I said, our waitress was extremely nice and couldn't apologize enough.

Patrick Bradshaw a…read moreday ago New $90-100 We went here for my birthday. This is a nice upscale restaurant that allows the guests to be casual. The waitress (Makala, not sure, it was May 6) was awesome and so were the servers. They put us in a private room space with a few tables. It was great until a 7 top arrived. All women and chatty and loud for the small room...fortunately, we were close to being finished when the hen club arrived. They ruined the atmosphere. My suggestion, dont put small parties in that small room when a large party is coming in also. It is too small a room with all hard surfaces for that noise level. And yes, the other two small tables noticed the noise in my opinion. The food, well the food was great! The filets we had were cooked rare as ordered. They do a french frie service instead of bread service. Those fries are fried in duck fat. So delicious! We had asparagus, lobster mashed taters and mushrooms with our steak. All prepared excellently and delicious. You've hear of Halls Chophouse? This place is better! Have you heard of NY Prime in Myrtle Beach? This place is their equal. And, I consider them the best steakhouse there is. This place is better than Millpond Steakhouse in Rembert, SC. So, take my advice, for one of the absolute best meals and services, go to Embers in Lexington, SC. ( to Embers, keep striving to improve. Never rest on good feedback. Also, one suggestion, blister those grapes tomatoes served as garnish with the steak) Oh, prices, yes they are a little higher than low end places like Outback or Texas Roadhouse or Longhorns but the price is a great price for the steaks served here. Prime meats not choice grade meats. If you want a good steak go to one of those places, but if you want an excellent steak, go to Ember... Wheelchair accessibility If you park in the rear, the only wheelchair route is aroUnd the building on public ways that seem to be a good bit steeper than allowed by A.D.A. No proper accessible route that I saw from the rear main parking area. If you are in a wheelchair, and have a driver, get them to drop you off at the front of the building.

The Ember, one of the newer steak houses in Lexington, features an upscale, modern decor. We chose…read morethis steakhouse over a nearby competitor, based on the Yelp reviews. We checked out the menu and although we were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary, we opted for a minimalist approach: the delicious complementary fries with dipping sauces, charred asparagus, the steak, and a bottle of Zinfandel blend. We were greeted warmly as we entered the restaurant and the good service continued with our excellent server Renée. There were no empty tables in the restaurant and everyone seemed to be having a good time without being too loud, perhaps due to the good acoustics of the unique ribbed ceiling. My wife ordered her filet medium-well and I opted for a medium ribeye. Renée explained that they butterfly the filets to encourage more even cooking. Our steaks came out after about 15 minutes, followed by our asparagus. I thought the timing was perfect. Our steaks had a deep char, but managed to be cooked to our liking. We were pleased with the meat. It was very flavorful. The asparagus spears were quite thick, and I was worried they might be woody, but most were tender even at the base. We saved room for dessert and we're really happy with the lemon cake. We also had some caramelized peaches with ice cream and whipped cream. We enjoyed our dinner very much, and look forward to sampling some of the other menu items.
