Food and service are terrible. Do not order the spinach and artichoke dip- it is runny, hardly contains any artichoke and was not very warm. The server had no clue and could not help much with suggestions on the menu - instead he just stared back at us with a blank look on his face. The biscuits were the highlight of this experience. Personally My experiences have been pretty good but within the last 6 months it seems as if management has started to run that place into the ground and the quality and standards have gone way down. I hate coming in and ordering food only to have something go wrong and have to speak to a manager SMH I didn't bother to catch womans name last time but I remember her boasting about her GM status(as if that meant something to me) *eye roll* She didn't seem to be of any help to me, it seems she barely knew what was going on nor was she of any assistance. The Garden Bar is meant to have 55 ingredients... when we visited there was 25 if we were lucky, with many empty spaces. I mentioned this 3 times and was assured it would be restocked but never was. The staff seemed to busy even though the place was only half full. The Garden Bar itself was messy and the utensils were contaminated as they had been used in several different bowls. Some plates were completely frozen, like they had just been removed from the freezer. The plastic roof covering the Garden Bar was too low which made it very difficult to reach the items near the back of the bar. Additionally there was no allergy advice on any of the items and the staff did not know either. We won't go back here. read more

We stopped by recently on a Tuesday at the recommendation of a friend. That day they had the salad bar for five dollars per person. I have not eaten at a Ruby Tuesday in a while, but for five dollars we were willing to give it a try. The salad bar was fine, the toppings were generally fresh although some additional meat options would have been appreciated. I have had their salad bar before where they had soup or some other options, but this was simply salad. It wasn't anything remarkable, but my issue is not really with the food. Employee who was restocking the salad bar did not have a very good attitude and/or seem to be frustrated that people were taking food from the salad bar which caused him to have to restock it quite frequently. For example, I simply pointed out that one of the lettuce options was needing to be refilled, and his response was less than friendly. Our server was fine. Overall, I don't know that I will be stopping in again anytime soon. read more

Ordered 2 Triple Plays (ribs, chix, shrimp). Chix wasn't brought out with order. Ribs and shrimp were way over cooked. When the thumb sized chix tenders came out, they were also over cooked. Fries were the only thing that was good. Salad bar was awful. Wished I had looked at it before paying $9.99 for it. Lettuce was iffy, other items did not look fresh, something I put on my plate was rancid--I believe it was black olives. The pasta salads looked old. No soup was on the salad bar then found out you have to pay an extra $3.99 for a bowl of soup. Way over priced, the food was bad. We'll never go there again. Live and learn. read more

I would normally not eat at a chain restaurant like this, but I was in the area with a large group of adults and kids for a soccer game and I would just like to give this place props for the excellent service that we received. Let me start off by acknowledging that yes, I am reviewing a chain restaurant. It was my first time at any Ruby Tuesday and I'm impressed! The food was a notch above Chili's and TGI Fridays and the service was outstanding! Our host and waiter were both very nice and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Come on, when does that ever happen at Chili's?! With a limited selection of dining options in the area, I'm glad we went here. Came in on a Friday Night, pretty busy but no wait for our party of 6. The hostess was polite and we were seated right away and asked " is this table ok for your party?" Off to a good start, she let us know the name of our waitress and that she would be right with is. The waitress showed up shortly and took the drink order for the 3 of us that were already there waiting on the other 3. We ordered two appetizers, both were cooked well, exactly what you would expect from a casual chain. 4 of the 6 ordered steaks and they were cooked exactly as ordered. The salad bar was fresh and was being cleaned and rotated often while we were there. The manager was running food, running drinks, smiling at the diners and making sure everyone was doing good.. Well.... this time around, we were promptly seated and then sat for a long while as various people (host and servers) walked past us and completely ignored us. Not a single glance our way - and we were seated right up front near the salad bar (no chance that we were not seen). There were 2 male servers standing and conversing near a terminal and after a while moved their conversation closer to the salad bar.... and still no one said a thing to us despite the fact that there was a large round top of diners right next to us. No one acknowledged us to even get a drink order or say that they would be right back... so after a long wait, we got up and left! Our last visit was not great either and we were able to explain things to a manager (poor food quality). Now with this recent visit - forget this place! I dont care how many times you update your decor and your menu - if you can't deliver a great dining experience (and that means great service and great food), then you have no business being in that industry. Friendly staff. Service was good. Restaurant was clean. 2 stars only because you go to a restaurant to EAT. The only great thing about our meal was the salad. I had the Asiago peppercorn steak cooked medium (by definition on the menu= warm pink center). It was Med Rare on one side and well done on the other, leaving my mashed potatoes drenched in beef blood. The steak was also very chewy. Blah. I always wondered why there were never cars out front of RT. I now know why. We ordered, over the phone, chicken Bella with a baked potato and zucchini, a bacon cheeseburger -plain, half rack of ribs with fries and paid extra for the Cesar's salad, and the shrimp shack with 8 fried shrimp. What we received... No chicken Bella, a cheeseburger loaded, ribs without Cesar salad and shrimp skewers and garlic biscuits. I called immediately to tell them of the error. My son drove back to get it fixed. All was correct the second time except there was no bacon on the cheeseburger. The whole process took over two hours and still was not right in the end. I did speak to the manager, Jason, who said I would receive two meals for free when I called. But, I am not in a hurry to call. This was a $60 meal and two hours? Be careful. read more

I took a date to Ruby Tuesday in Orange Park, and let me say first that the place was a mess. Most of the tables were dirty, food and debris all over the floor. I ordered Parmesan Chicken Pasta and my date ordered a veggie dish. When the food arrived, the pasta noodles in her veggie dish were crunchy, (they were supposed to be soft), she refused to eat it. It was taken off the bill, and she just ate salad. My dish appeared to be fine. I ate a good portion of it, then boxed the rest and took it home. Let me tell you, that night I was doubled over in stomach pain. I had to go to the bathroom several times with painful cramps and diarrhea. It was positively what I ate there. I had not eaten anywhere else. I am happy to have boxed a portion and taken it home. I will have it analyzed in the morning. This had made me wish I brought my date home and cooked a meal myself. Too bad you can't give zero stars. We were promptly seated then sat & sat & sat. We even flagged down a wait staff, we were told to " wait a minute" so we got up to leave. Another waiter said "have a nice day" as we were leaving so we told him we were going somewhere we could actually get service since nobody there wanted to wait on us. His reply, "well that's not my section". We also told the people at the door that nobody ever waited on us as well as people that were waiting to be seated. Do (still) like the salad bar. However, you're making all the classic corporate mistakes. Mashed potatoes are supposed to be white, if you burn them throw them out and try again. Don't, please just don't, serve them using an ice cream scoop or whatever you used. Reminds me of school lunches - you don't want to be associated with that memory! Pork chop was clearly cooked early then had the sauce dumped on at the last minute, so little flavor in the actual meat, though the hickory bourbon sauce is quite tasty. Meat was completely raw next to the bone. Lastly, if you're going to make Mac n cheese by combining the ingredients last minute, then please try to drain the fricking pasta and actually melt the cheese topping. Big puddles of water hiding inside and strips of shredded cheese laying on top are not the best presentation, despite that the flavor is quite good. 5/10, you can do better. P.S. I came there today after work with my boyfriend and the Food was great , but the server was horrible I almost didn't want to tip but me being a server before myself I would never do that , I guess because of my work clothes and my age she didn't expect me to have any money , hardly refilled my drinks never came by the table when I needed napkins or something , and usually when I come I get these little bread appetizers and everyone around me had them and we did not receive any , she had a lip piercing but did not tell me her name . she was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable . probably won't be back to that rubys read more
