As always, Ruby Tuesday's salad bar did not disappoint...excluding the few pieces of wilted lettuce. I ordered the hickory bourbon chicken and my son ordered their seafood pasta, solely based off of the pics on the menu. It's been years since we've been here, but I miss the salad bar, so we came for the nostalgia. The food was not great. Presentation was subpar. For the prices you'd think this would be so much better. Portion sizes did not match the menu. Maybe if they brought it out on a smaller plate it might look comparable, but the plates are huge. It didn't taste terrible, but it's not fresh at all. The seafood was obviously frozen. Our server, Kenya, was very nice. 5 stars for service. Sadly, the quality of the food, and the portions vs. prices don't compute. read more

I love a good salad bar and they keep it clean and well stocked with fresh ingredients! We walked in and the hostess seated us quickly and shortly afterwards our waiter came to take drink orders. My husband and I choose Ruby Tuesdays for a quick lunch during the workday. We thought the salad bar would be a good choice. There weren't too many cars in the parking lot, yet we still had to wait a few minutes to even be greeted/seated. The hostess was busy doing other tedious tasks that should've been completed prior to the restaurant opening. Our service and food were mediocre at best. The restaurant interior seems dated and the carpets smell musty. The esthetics can easily be fixed but the food will need some work. I typically get the broccoli chicken pasta and ask for the chicken to be diced. I also ALWAYS end up sending it back because a simple direction to spice chicken is not followed. The service was lacking in personal attention to paying customers. If you don't pay attention to your clients in ANY service industry, you may as well kiss your return clientele goodbye-bye. There are plenty of other restaurants to choose from.... Many of them cleaner, more current, and with well-trained staff! read more

After reading all the bad reviews, I wasn't sure I wanted to eat here, but I've always loved Ruby Tuesdays but they all closed down by our home. We were seated as soon as we walked in, and our waiter came over and introduced himself immediately. Drinks were brought to the table quickly as well. The place was clean, the salad bar was filled and our food was delicious. Our waiter did a great job. He was attentive. He came back and checked on the table. This would've been for STARS, but it took quite a long time for our food to come out and there weren't very many people in the dining room. I definitely would eat here again. read more

We were greeted within the first five minutes after entering the restaurant. We were seated right away. Our server seemed a bit tired. I love a good salad bar, however it was a little difficult to get items from the back of the salad bar a few patrons mentioned that. I think the salad bar requires more cleaning because the other items fall in when the items in the back of the bar are scooped out. The managers were visible and they supported the servers and hostess well. I ordered the Bourbon salmon with zucchini and potatoes. The salmon was good l did need extra sauce because it lacked seasoning. Those instant potatoes were not good they got cold fast. The zucchini was good well seasoned. Late lunch here on a Thursday afternoon around 2:30. Not busy at all and service was friendly and fast. Pros: Salad bar had a fairly nice selection of ingredients and 4 types of pasta salads. Most everything was in good shape with the exceptions of the odd looking cucumbers,(appeared to have been frozen then thawed and had a watery sheen) and romaine with wilted brown bits. Solid B+ Cons: The stuffed mushrooms were mushy and served in a watery sauce. Very salty and overall unappetizing. The potato skins were overcooked to the point of being crispy/burnt. If I come back it will be just for the convenience of the salad bar, but for the price it's probably better to just make one at home. read more

When I think of Ruby Tuesday I think of my childhood neighborhood salad bar and their signature pumpernickel croutons. They actually still serve them too - it was great to be back to one since my childhood and their menu has become so much more expansive with great new options like a Salmon on Salad dish which is large in portion and excellent in taste. They have the best sides too, I did a trio : Roasted Corn, Cole Slaw & Steamed Broccoli. Im excited to come back and see what this 'Burnt Ends' Dish is all about! We went there for a birthday lunch for my mother in law. There were 5 of us and the restaurant was not very busy on a Saturday shortly after opening for lunch. It was an OK experience. The service was fine, not exceptional but not bad either. The food was ok. I wouldn't tell anyone not to go there as they do have a salad bar which are hard to find these days but it wouldn't be on the top of my list of recommendations for the area. read more

Had to get my cars battery charged at a nearby location so we walked over to Ruby Tuesdays for an early dinner. I decided to go with the shish kabob deconstructed (beef tips, red onion, green peppers, and zucchini all grilled). My wife got the turkey bacon club. The beef tips were a bit over cooked for my taste, but the waitress had already set the expectation that it had to be cooked medium because of how it was prepped. Setting the expectation went a long way. Overall the meal was very tasty and the perfect portion size. My wife's sandwich had enough bacon for three sandwiches. She was not about to complain about it. Overall a good meal. What got them to 4 stars was the service. Everyone was super friendly. read more

My wife and I went to Ruby Tuesday today around 5:00 pm. We were seated promptly and the waitress came over in about a couple of minutes. Well, first of all, the restaurant was very warm and really not comfortable. But anyway the waitress took our order, and we mentioned that the table was a little sticky feeling. I think her name was Hana, so instead of saying okay I'll wipe it off, she went into this long story about the varnish or coating on the table is breaking down and making it sticky. Well, my wife and I wiped the table with a napkin and germX and the napkin was dirty after wiping. Well, another lady came over and wiped it down. Well, We received our food within about 15 to 20 minutes. The food was fantastic, hot and cooked perfectly. Everything about the food was excellent, including the Lemonade's we ordered from the bar. The service seemed okay, other than the controversy about the table, I guess not a big deal really. But other than that, I like eating at Ruby Tuesday, I think over all the food is really good and I like some of the food rewards they offer.The staff knows their job very well. My wife and I just left and are disappointed and thinking we wasted our money and time. We went for the Garden bar because that is always good. Which it was again. However, we ordered the triple play entree ( half rack of ribs, 6 shrimp, and 2 very small chicken tenders and fries. ) the ribs were sitting on the fries and so the fries were then soggy and soaked in rib sauce. The ribs were room temperature, like they had been sitting and the meat was mostly dry. The shrimp were room temp as well, and the chicken was mostly breading and tough. The waiter although nice seemed inattentive once our food came out and it was not busy with a bunch of tables either. If we had just got to garden bar then I feel maybe it would have been worth it but to pay for the triple play and think it was worth it just was so disappointing. read more

Ruby Tuesday's in Flemming Island made every attempt to make us feel safe and welcomed. Thank you. Everyone had masks on. It was super clean. Tables were sectioned off so people didn't sit too close. (I wish they had outdoor seating.) Limited menu but all my mom wanted was a classic burger and fries for Mother's day. They did not disappoint. Also, they sell other oddities. My mom purchased Cran-Apple juice and some other grocery store items while we dined. It was strange but o.k. Anyways.... our waiter was great, the food solid, the atmosphere clean. My husband and I had just returned home from vacation. We were hungry and decided to stop in and eat @ Ruby Tuesday. The restaurant was clean and the waiter was awesome! upon entering the establishment, they have a sign stating that they offer 10% military discount. We had that. The manager only offered to take 10% off of my husband's meal instead of 10% off of the entire bill. I had never seen anything like that before, ever!If you're going to offer a military discount it should be applied toward the entire bill. read more

We enjoy going to this Ruby Tuesday and since their app provides many special offers, we decided to use my birthday offer of a free burger/sandwich/salad entree. My husband got a burger and baked potato and I got a grilled chicken sandwich (with a lovely honey-mustard sauce) and grilled zucchini medallions. We polished off our meals. The iced peach tea is a delight, too--real peaches! Free refills on the drinks--I got mine to go. It's got a southern island theme but that's very understated. Surprisingly good experience at this location as I haven't been to a RT in years and always forget that it's here in Fleming Island. The service was stellar. I recommend the Garden Salad Bar for $8.99 for sure. They have a great selection of fresh veggies along with a few pasta, potato and specialty salads on the buffet. Plenty of tasty toppings and a plethora of dressings, too. The deal I got was for an extra dollar, I got two fried chicken sliders added to my meal which were delicious. Honestly, the salad bar was more than enough and super filling. I also snagged a bite of my sister's freaking burger and man, it was really good. We also ordered a small cheese pizza and grilled cheese with fries for my friend's girls off of the kid's menu. And had I not been so full, I would have asked for a bite of each. Service was excellent the waitress was very friendly and on top of drink refills. The staff was constantly looking at the salad bar and refreshing item's as needed. Got the Throw Back Thursday email. Sounded great. Ok, get to the Orange Park, FL location. No handicap parking available (this will be important later), but quite a few "take out" parking spots available. We park away from the door. Get in, barely greeted. Restaurant barely 1/2 full. We ask for a TABLE. Heaven forbid...a table?? "Sorry, we save them for larger parties!! I can seat you at a 1/2 booth." We are not very mobile (hence, needing handicap parking) and sliding in a booth is not an option. Needless to say, we walked out!! I don't know why I keep trying to eat here. If I could choose zero stars I would. The staff seemed bewildered when I questioned why my bacon and tomato sandwich was served after my wife and granddaughter had finished their dinners. My wife decided to have a couple of the $1 draft beers advertised on the sign at the door. When the bill came we found out you have to sit in a special area to get that advertised deal. Doesn't say that on the sign. We sat where the guy at the door told us to sit. While I sat and tried to eat the rushed attempt at my sandwich, come on, bacon and tomato, my grandkids could make it, I watched a cockroach crawling around on the ceiling where that ceiling tile is about to fall out. Ruby Tuesday used to be a once a week spot for my family. My teen and I loved their salad bar but a couple years ago they changed it up, increased prices on all other items and service took a nose dive. After hearing that they had updated their salad bar a few months ago we gave it another shot. Hubby likes their burgers and I like this salad bar. It's not fancy food but it is fresh and I like the variety available for salads. Service has its ups and downs we've found but there is usually a manager on the floor which is nice to see. Prices are a little high but if you join their email program they send out coupons regularly. We don't visit a lot but when we're in the area and the need for fresh greens arises we'll stop ny here for lunch. read more
