We stopped by for lunch on a road trip, and both ordered cheeseburgers medium, plus a salad bar order. Our server Amanda went above and beyond in noticing that one of our burgers was pretty much raw on the inside, and without us having to say anything she took it off the bill and let the kitchen know. The manager came to speak with us and was incredibly nice as well, even taking an extra item off the bill and checking if everything else was ok. Everyone was so welcoming and kind -- if I ever make this trip again I know where to stop for lunch! read more

well, like 2.5 starts. Pretty much what you would expect. Salad bar is pretty decent. Steaks are so-so, I would avoid them. Pork ribs are good but I suspect they have been engineered in some facility somewhere. Chicken seems like the winner. Sides are for the most part good; the grilled zucchini was especially good on one visit and soggy on the next. The green beans were overcooked on all visits. ymmv. Service is totally dependent upon who you get. I've had good, bad, and indifferent. Drinks are...come on it's beer and wine from a bottle. They can hardly mess that up. I've only had one dessert and I had it twice. Cheese cake. Get them to microwave it for a few seconds to take off the chill; it makes a huge difference. For $60 for two this isn't too bad. When I'm in Somerset, PA I usually go here at least once because I have not found any place better. There's always fast food but this is a step above fast food but not quite white table cloth and better than most places in Somerset. read more

It's your typical Ruby Tuesday complete with the salad bar. We stopped in here for lunch and the place was pretty empty, although we were here early (around 11:30). Restaurant was clean and server was friendly and attentive to our needs. I always hit the salad bar when at a Ruby Tuesday's and I love their croutons, especially when they come out warm! I went with the Ruby mini lunch special which included two mini-cheeseburgers plus the salad bar. Overall, no complaints. read more

Is this really Ruby Tuesday?? We were in Somerset for work for a week and ate here 4 times. Not once were we disappointed.. and I don't think I've ever been able to say that about a Ruby Tuesdays. Our steaks were perfect (9/9 for the whole trip), the veggies were done but not mushy, everything was super flavorful, and the salad bar was completely stocked and clean. The service was quick and friendly. 5/5 would recommend, which is slightly hard for me to say. read more

Just passing through. Hubby and I stopped in for dinner and drinks before checking into our hotel. Was excited to see Ruby Tuesday's cuz the one in our home town closed awhile back. Greeted right away by the hostess but sat at the bar top. Great happy hour! We were taken very good care of by our bartender, Shelby. Very easy to talk to, didn't miss a beat. Clean bar!! Hubby had the chicken tenders and I ordered the Philly steak potstickers. Both were very good. I could've had a bit more filling in the potstickers. This place usually has such a lovely environment, but one night it got out of control. Thank god blonde Jacob was there to save the day! There was a fight in the parking lot over a reservation that was made, and Jacob took it upon himself to break it up. He told them that fighting was not worth it, and that if they both calmed down they could see that they would both get a table at the same time. He was truly a blessing that night! The plate came to the table and that's when I saw that my "side" of grilled zucchini consisted of exactly six leathery, thin slices of squash. Really, Ruby Tuesday? As a long-time resident of Somerset, PA, I'm pleased to say that Ruby Tuesday is consistently good: good food, good service, good prices. The one missing component is their transparecy in advertising! The menu and store signs clearly tout "$4.00 drinks all day, every day," and display pix of the house choices for that daily price. Twice I have ordered a house Chardonnay and have been told the bar is out of house wine, but that I can order another wine at the regular price. The general manager insists that no substitutions be made when the bar runs out of the advertised drinks. This, to me is false advertising and needs to be addrsssed. read more

I has an wonderful experience eating lunch here. It was quiet and clean. It's like most Ruby Tuesdays, but I think the staff set it apart. I ate at lunchtime, and it was excellent service. Salad bar was clean and fresh. I didn't care too much for the croutons. They were a bit greasey. Everything else was delicious. I had the chicken broccoli pasta. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. Luke & Dalton we're our bartenders and they both were absolutely phenomenal! As Luke was coming off of shift, Dalton took over our check at the bar. My fiancé & myself both ordered hot & dirty martinis, one set from Luke and my fiancé's second from Dalton and they both made the perfect build of the cocktail. We stopped here today because we had coupons that I received in emails. They changed their garden bar. They've added a few new items so now they have over 55 ingredients on the bar. Unfortunately, we didn't try the "new" bar tho. They've changed their prices too. The bar alone is $8.99. However, to add the bar to any meal or entree it is $3.99 extra. It can replace a side for $1.49. We used to come here because the bar was free as a side. They just keep raising their prices. They've changed the menu alot to. Unfortunately, they've taken most the items that I enjoy off the menu. I only gave them 3 stars because the price is not worth the food. The staff was awesome tho. The hostess was super nice and explained the new items to us. Our waitress was super nice, and patient. We probably won't return due to the prices being raised again. read more

Ruby Tuesdays in Somerset is a good restaurant . Everyone wears a mask and they seem to clean after every customer I feel very safe eating there. The food is reasonably priced and very good ,wide selection of food which is rare in this time of Covid 19. Service is also very good no complaints whatsoever. read more

I wanted to give a 5 star rating this is in Somerset PA, it's the cutest town just before the tunnel through the Allegheny Mountains but... when my mom said please no onions on her salad and the waitress replied "it doesn't come with onions anyways" in a rather annoyed voice they dropped a star. The next star dropped because she continued to be annoyed... it maybe wasn't on purpose but she did it and it was rude. The food was hot and it tasted ok. It's a chain that still offers a salad buffet, I try not to set my standards too high. The waitstaff is where a chain can set them self apart, if I come in for a frozen turkey burger and fries with a Diet Coke and my kids get frozen and fried chicken tenders I have an expectation of a high sodium fatty meal. I hope that the server will be happy I stopped in, I picked Ruby Tuesdays because fast food on a road trip too many times leads to misery, sitting down and being served is a step up. The rest rooms were clean, the restaurant was clean. If your on a road trip east and find yourself hungry I would stop here again I would just hope that the next server is glad I came in willing to tip. read more

This restaurant is generally what you would expect. Prices are kinda steep, in my opinion. The very first time I ever came here wasn't long after they had first opened. We had came as a 'big group' of maybe 7 people. The server was friendly, but when it was time for her to deliver our food, has delivered all of our food except for my dads. He never received his food until we were all done with our meals, of which the server was aware. We were all disappointed. The manager had made it right by either making him meal free or offering a free dessert or both, I do not remember. I hadn't returned to that restaurant for quite some time after that cause I only viewed it as pricey and bad service. I did return a few years later & the service was exceptional, as well as the food. However, the past few times recently have been back to my very first experience. The servers seemed rushed and impatient as well as unfriendly. One of my last few times I order a side salad as one of my sides and my server seemed very annoyed that I wasn't interested in getting the salad bar. The salad bar wasn't what I wanted which is why I order a side salad, and not to be persuaded otherwise. On our very last visit, my boyfriends fish wasn't thoroughly cooked. He ate some of the fish before realizing, he said he was pleased with the fish that was cooked. We just couldn't believed it had been served like that. The manager gave him a free dessert [any dessert of our choice] and a free meal. I, however, will not be returning for a while. These things must get sorted out. read more

Bland. That's the best way to describe this. I have eaten at ruby Tuesday's all over the country and it is one of my more favorable places. But this somerset one just fell really short. I had the rib eye- ordered medium rare- came out medium well. Okay I can live with that. But it was so cold the butter they put on top to melt into it was still solid when she put it down. I ordered it with onion rings- I always eat my sides first. The butter was still solid when I finished them. And you would think a buttered stark would be flavorful and seasoned correctly? Nope- I had to add salt and pepper. The service again was good- and the salad bar is always a treat- love the croutons. But the $20 steak? Save your coin people- get just the salad bar. read more

While doing laundry at a local Laundromat during our visit to Somerset, we decided to get lunch from Ruby Tuesdays since it was nearby and we didn't feel comfortable leaving our clothes unattended. I called in our order of an Avocado Turkey burger and a new California Turkey BLT that my friend wanted to try. Our order was ready in less than half an hour and the food was good but the staff neglected to put napkins and condiments in our bag and there was almost no ice in our cokes. Drinks arrived promptly and orders taken without delay. Garlic cheddar biscuits were provided since we did not order appetizers. My wife's Chicken Bella with zucchini and spaghetti squash was much to her liking. My petite sirloin was cooked to well done as opposed to medium that I had requested. I am NOT a Ruby Tuesday's fan- BUT- this is by far the best RT, Fridays, Bennigans, Applebees I have ever been to. The waiter, Jesse, was awesome. I changed up my sandwich and just assumed that it would be screwed-up. Nope. Perfect. The chicken was even cooked to perfection. Salad bar was great and very clean and tidy. My husband and just had lunch here, never again. We both ordered the Shepherds pie which included the salad bar for $11.99. While waiting we each had one dish from the salad bar. When the dish arrived we found it filled with oily grease (cheap grade of meat). We showed the waitress and she had the manager come to our table. She said this was a new item on their menu starting this past Monday and she hadn't tried it. Before putting a new item on any menu a good would try the dish. We found the manager very friendly at the time and chatted with her awhile. She said she would remove the shepherds pie from our bill. When we got the bill we were charged $8.99 each for one dish of salad. When the waitress came I said we paid $17.98 for two salads. She grabbed the bill and the credit card and left. I told her I'll answered this on Yelp. A bit later she came back and sort of threw the credit card on the table and said she took it all off. May husband wanted to leave the waitress a tip but when she was rude I said no and we left. My husband remembered we had an issue in September when we were in Somerset and ate here. A good manager would have forgiven the whole bill at the time she spoke to us and I would have been writing a different review. read more
