I prefer not to give negative reviews, but I could not let this one go without comment. I think this may have been the worst pizza that I've ever had. While traveling with my kid, we picked up a simple thing: a pepperoni pizza from stairs. When we walked in, the staff were arguing with each other about who wrote down what, who put the wrong toppings on which pizza, etc.It seemed that the oldest person in the group, I'm assuming an owner? Manager? Was being the hardest on the younger staff, which was difficult to watch. We left after picking up our pizza, And drove out towards our campsite. On the way, we had a couple of slices, rather, we each had one slice. The dough was "bready" and soft, pepperoni and cheese on top we're hardly cooked (the cheese was melted, but barely). The sauce was sugary sweet. Even though we were very hungry, we simply could not eat this pizza and ended up throwing it away. It was a very disappointing experience. read more

Unless you have over an hour to kill waiting for a cold hot dog and hamburger, PICK A DIFFERENT RESTAURANT! Seriously, my friend and I ordered two orders of fries, a hot dog, a hamburger and two diet cokes at 12:08 today. We were told "30-40 minutes." People who ordered after us got their pizza and sides before we got our food, which was the first red flag. The lady at the table next to us said, "They are losing tickets; you better go check on your food." I did; I was told everything was fine. I asked for our drinks. They were grudgingly given. At 12:50 (42 minutes after ordering), my friend went to check on our food. She was told "It's gonna be another 20-25 minutes!" Was passing nearby on the interstate and daughter asked for pizza for lunch. Saw this place on Yelp and thought we would give it a try. Glad I did. Great pizza. First time in a long time that everyone in the family said something was good. We all had pizza. My wife and I split a Buffalo Chicken pizza and it was the best pizza I had had in quite a while. Service was good, restaurant dining room was closed but they have a cute little outdoor eating patio. Wish this place was closer to me! read more

So me and my family decided after a hard day to stop in at "Stairs" and got some dinner. Big mistake! I can't comprehend how a restaurant could mess up such simple things. The cheese on the pizza started to become a solid about 5 minutes after we revived it. Ordered wings and I already knew they were gonna blow as soon as I saw them. Genuinely started gagging as soon as that poor chicken entered my mouth, bad. The worst thing about it all might be the price, 18$ for a dozen wings and 12$ for a large so called "pizza". Not to mention I'm almost 100% sure they cut the crust off my pizza but we'll ignore that. Great staff though very friendly and made me feel at home. Peace . read more

Love Stairs Pizza! The outdoor seating is really nice as well. One of the few places to eat outdoors in town.

Food was more home cooked! Very loud employees named Melissa with her son in tow who hit my 6 year old for not sharing his switch tag. ! We come for Strombolis 2x a month. The mother did apologize but still unprofessional but good food always! read more

Stair's was renovated just recently and is a lot better looking now. Some of the best food in somerset. Burgers are excellent as well as their fried pickles!!! Fresh dough pizza is amazing as well. I love their sauce and they are the only place that I know of that puts hot dog pieces on the pizza. ;) read more

Stairs is my favorite pizza! It is a family recipe that the original owners sold with the restaurant when it changed hands years ago. The pizza hasn't changed a bit since I was a kid, and I couldn't be happier for that to be the case. My husband is from an area in Northeastern PA that is well known for their pizza (making him very difficult to please with a pizza outside of that area), and he loves Stairs! My first meal request when I go home will always be Stairs pizza. Keep it up!!! read more

Save your money, overpriced. Small portions. Not as shown on website. Got an order eithe strombolis and breadsticks half raw. They forgot a pizza. Called and they refused to deliver forgotten item or give a refund! And to think i gave thrm a tip. Ridiculous read more

The owners are kind and honest people ,they only hire the best to work for them , their food is delicious and the prices are fair .

The absolute worst place I have ever been. The ceiling had water damaged tile,I mean how much would it cost to replace a ceiling tile? My fries were brought out way before my cheeseburger, and had no salt on them at all. The menu states fresh ground beef daily. Fresh from a dumpster? Totally dry and tasteless. McDonalds has better food, and I hate McDonalds food. There were 3 of us eating, but apparently they don't understand the concept of bringing everyones food at the same time. The waitress was useless. I handed her my uneaten cheeseburger and said it was the worst I had ever tasted. Guessing the people that run this place just don't care about their customers. And a space heater beside us, seriously? $27 for crap food, thats after they took my dry cheeseburger off. GROSS read more

About a year ago, every time we would stop by this place, they were closed, but they are open under new management and better than ever. The prices are affordable, the service is a bit slow, and the food is amazing!!!! I got the pizza burger, which was quite yummy.... The place was packed for a Tuesday afternoon and it looked as though most patrons were eating the pizza, so I take it this item is a stand out with the locals. They do have ice cream as well, always a favorite!!!. This is definitely not a tourist trap, alot of locals frequent this place, so I suggest if you're in the area, try some of this fabulous cheap food, you will not be disappointed.... read more

I grew up with Stairs restaurant as a kid in highschool and the pizza hasn't changed in 45 years! That's a good thing to know when you order their pizza and know that it's going to taste like it did all those years ago. There's something to be said for consistency . read more

This restaurant has been around for half of my life and was a little spot named Tiny's Corner (how cute is THAT?) when I was a kid. Can't vouch for the food, but it's the best soft-serve in town. And I know what I'm talking about. read more

Very disappointed. Regular customer of Stairs for years. We walked in they asked us if we were going to eat in and we said yes and they said to take a seat and they would bring menus. She got our and she said she would be right back to take our order. She went to another table got their drinks and then took their order and then she went back behind the counter and waiting on people there and went back to the back. This went on for over 10 minutes. In the meantime another two tables who were together came and had two drinks or waited on by another waitress. Our waitress still never appeared and we were still waiting on and on. We finally got up and walked out and laid two dollars on the table and no one even noticed us leaving. The tables were full and other patrons came in and left because there weren't any tables. read more

I complained to some locals about the pizza being made from a pizza shell. They told me to ask for the fresh dough. Turns out you have a choice, if you don't ask, you'll likely get the shell. I did and it was great! If you're getting pizza, ask for fresh dough, I don't think you'll be sorry! read more
