We had a gift card and went for dinner tonight. Emily was our waitress and tonight was her first night on the floor and she was wonderful, right on top of things. There was nothing we needed that she was not right on top of. It got busy but that did not bother her at all she stayed calm and worked all her tables like a pro. The food was great. My husband had the chicken fajita's and said they were good but he thinks they should add beef fajita's to the menu as well. I took the family to Legoland for the first time and at the end of the day we were exhausted and we were looking for a quiet place to celebrate my birthday. We saw Ruby Tuesday was close to the hotel and decided to go there. Our server Levonda came up to our table and was very accommodating, she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She found out it was my birthday and sang Happy Birthday to me! She was so nice and seemed like an old friend by the time our dinner appeared. She kept checking on us and talked when she could. Heck, if she was not working I would have asked her to join us. Now that brings us to the meal! The wife and I had the Asiago Peppercorn Sirloin with mashed potatoes and the Dirty rice. It was the best meal I've had in at least a year; every bite was amazing! Thank you so much for a great birthday, great food and great company. Food was terrible and not worth the 32 dollars I spent. 18 minutes for 2 bowls of soup as a starter and less than 2 minutes later our burgers came out. Fries were cold and unseasoned. Burger was overcooked and the "pretzel" bun tasted like it was thawed in a microwave. Our server was lost and clueless it seemed. When the "manager" asked how things were, she said she already knew about the soups taking so long and yet still did nothing about it. Tell the customers what the deal is, especially if it going to take extra time. Overall it was horrible. All they did for guest recover was offer hot fries. I ate have my meal and was done with the place. I believe that they all need to take training courses for customer service. Until then, I won't go back read more

We love Ruby Tuesday as a whole I won't lie for me it is always about the salad bar because I love the pumpernickel croutons! The only sad thing is I wish they had the zucchini cake minis but they took then off the menu last year but at least they have new minis just as good like during this visit I ordered the Baja chicken tacos with really well seasoned chicken and full of yummy veggies which is good because I love the healthy lighter offerings they have and sneak in more veggies! The cheese biscuits when your first seated are great too! The mango tea with the real chunks of fruit in them you can never go wrong with either I love the combo of tea and mango! This was our first time at this particular location which us right next to Legoland so it seems there will be larger parties being literally right in front of a park but still seems to have no issue with enough seating tonight. For a warning yelp showed their hours as being closed but they weren't do just check according to them they are hardly ever closed :) the service at this location was great we had a very nice server named Bella who caught me off guard by greeting my hubby and I and actually asked for our names which never really happens but she was very attentive and kept us cracking up! Bar service was incredibly slow... and, if the bar tender in training is working... DO NOT get a mixed drink. I repeat... do not get a mixed drink. The mohito we got was terrible tonight... the mint was not muddled... there was way too much sweet... it was pretty terrible... then had the salad bar...how do you mess that up? Mmm, I know... don't keep it fresh... don't replenish it... badly pan fry some of the vegetables and provide a lot of that... a disappointing dining experience. read more

First time trying ruby Tuesday and I enjoyed it! I ordered the chicken bella with mashed potatoes and broccoli and a raspberry iced tea. I finished my entire plate! The plates aren't too big but filling. Mashed potatoes and broccoli were also great! I didnt try the salad bar but wish I did my family enjoyed the salad. The waitresses were nice. We haven't been to Ruby Tuesday for over 10... years! We only stopped because it was right outside of Legoland. The kids loved this place, the family had a great experience as well! Delany was very friendly and professional. She brought refills without asking for it and took great care of the kids. The manager was outstanding (did not catch her name). She apologized ahead that ribs presentation wasn't as great and ordered a new serving while still letting my child enjoy original plating. She also waited to make sure our steaks were cooked as desired. Usually, we don't have much expectation not write many reviews. This location had great team and wonderful service. Pretty good location compared to others. Drinks were good, service was good, food was good. Their steak was done right and decent for a non steakhouse. Amazing manager! So so happy we came here. We came after a long day at Legoland and it was kids eat free. I ordered a Top Sirloin and it came out a little more cooked than I would have liked. 6 of us were seated promptly which was nice because it was fairly empty. We were all served water and our drink order was taken right away. Menu had decent selections and you could substitute a side for their garden bar for $1.99. The garden bar is huge and a very good value, especially at $1.99. The food came quickly and was good. Burgers, chicken tenders, soup. Nothing real special but good and served by a friendly efficient waitress. The manager stopped by a couple of times to make sure all was well and to do drink refills. Prices have gone up, no biscuits any more, salad bar price has gone up and not included in any meal. MY husband ordered salmon with a sauce on it. It came without the sauce and the waitress took it back and got the sauce put on. When we got the bill he was charged extra for the sauce and it was supposed to be included. I visited the Ruby Tuesday at 5995 Cypress Gardens Blv on Friday 6th of April with 11 other people to celebrate my sisters birthday. This was the most awful place I have been. My food was not right and I did complain to the waitress. The green beans were cold and not done. We had coupons buy one entrée get another one at half price which wug e did not get the lady mgr came to our table and was loud and rude. All the other guest were staring and listening to what she had to say. I have been a mgr to a restaurant for 23 yrs and never would have acted in that manner. She should be FIRED!! The other mgr Ray Rivalsky did come out after her and was very nice and tried to make things right. We were on vacation in Florida and stopped by for dinner. We have an allergy child with us and our server, Joseph S, along with the manager, went above and beyond our expectations in making sure our child's food was prepared safely. We ordered her a 6oz sirloin- plain and a plain baked potato. It was perfect, she ate all of it and was very happy. The salad bar had fresh veggies, fruit, etc and was wonderful. Came here for dinner on a weekday with my husband & 2 year old. Had to wait about 5-10 minutes for a table. Nice server, young & probably still in high school. I noticed that about all the other servers working that night. Nothing wrong with that. Food was good, ate majority of the salad bar. Where to start....We sat at the bar. Poor girl at the bar was working alone. No way she could work the bar and all the orders for the restaurant. We sat at the bar because the place was only half full but, there was a 30 min wait! Perfect view of the kitchen while we waited 45 min for our food. Food sat under the heat lamps for 15 min or more. Expediter and others were handling the food with their bare hands. Food was taken to wrong tables, brought back, moved around on the plate, and then taken back out to the correct table! Decent chain restaurant food. Salad bar has a lot of good choices and it's clean and fresh. The steak was just ok, not worth the price. If you want to spend $13 on a steak, go to Manny's in Winter Haven or Haines City. Much better steak for better value. I've been coming to this place since 2017 for my entire pregnancy, eating mostly salmon and mashed potatoes with ceasar salad, first I feel safe with the cleaness of this place and how they prepare the food to eat from here since I work in the health field, second- the staff treats you very polite and professional and they will get you what you need, the managers will make sure you are pleased, treated and served like you deserve, hands down for Ms. Tanya for running the food and management duties very well for people like me coming back for almost 3 consecutive years more than 4 times a week!!! Food was great but what angered me was that the suggested tip amounts of 20 18 and 15% on the bill were incorrect. For a restaurant to lie on such a small petty thing such as tips is not only unethical but is bad business. The suggested tip was actually 25% instead of 20%. My husband and I are what one might call "regulars" at Ruby Tuesday's in Clermont, FL. We eat there at least once a week. Usually, the service is good to excellent and the food is cooked to order and hot when presented. Tonight (October 20, 2018) was a terrible night at Ruby's. First, we were seated next to the kitchen with loud buzzers going off constantly but as the restaurant was busy, I did not request a change even though there were many tables for two. I ordered a burger done medium-well. It was rare. Sent it back and it was returned crispy on the outside and still quite pink in the middle. The french fries were stone cold. I ordered a side of steamed broccoli which did not arrive until we had finished our meal. Our waitress set two glasses of water on our table, walked back to the kitchen, came back out and was looking around as if she were lost. "Are you looking for these?" I asked as I pointed to the water. She picked up the glasses without comment and delivered them to another table. I assume we were the "holding station." She never came to check on us until we finally asked for the check at which time she brought my broccoli and said she'd give me a to-go box for it. Really? The salad bar was absolutely barren and a MESS. My husband actually returned and said, "maybe they'll clean it up." Twenty minutes later, already into our meal, the salad bar was somewhat replenished. I probably won't return to our local Ruby's for a long time to come. On our way out, the usual "thank you and have a good night" was noticeably absent. The two men at the host station didn't even look up as they carried on their conversation. For the first time in the 10 plus years that we've been going to this restaurant, it was a terrible experience. Granted, anyone can have an off day but tonight the entire staff were simply not "with it." Perhaps this is a lesson about Saturday evenings at Ruby's. My advice is that you avoid this restaurant on typically busy days such as Saturday evening. I don't think the staff can handle the pressure. read more

This is the third time that we've eaten at this restaurant in the past two years, and it ALWAYS disappoints. It was 5pm when we arrived on a Sunday evening today. The service is terrible. First, you have to ask repeatedly to get bread/rolls and you are never asked if you need refills on your drinks. Today, our waitress didn't even give us her name--we felt like we were intruding on her time! Every time she passed our table she didn't even stop to ask how we were doing. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. The steak was well done (I asked for Medium)--and would have returned it if I could have flagged-down the waitress. I finally caught the waitress and asked for dinner rolls--10 minutes later another waiter dropped off two small rolls that were the size of a quarter (usually there are four good sized rolls in a serving). I've gone to a lot of Ruby Tuesday's across the country and have never seen anything like this. The only "good" thing I can say is that they are CONSISTENTLY bad. read more
