Beautiful and stylish ambiance. Staff was friendly and attentive. Freshly prepared plates and various coffee drinks available. Nice little oasis in Elk Grove.

This is a tough review to do. The food, flavor and new decor and ambience is a 5. The service and hospitality is also a 5. The wait time is terrible. Took almost 50 minutes for our lamb and chicken kabobs to be done. My advice - call your order ahead of time or (as my wife suggested) go in, place your order and go shopping. By the time you're done the food will be ready.

Its a beautiful store/coffee shop with gracious owners that greet you with a smile when you walk in. Halal and a favorite spot of my daughters for coffee drinks and falafel. They have many interesting items and delicious desserts and food. We bought the chicken kabobs and the falafel plate. Service was great and we enjoyed our food. You can eat in or take to go. I need to ho back and try their beef and lamb dishes next.

I happened upon Rumi's Oasis while walking the Trader Joe's shopping plaza. I dropped my car off at America's Tire and had an hour to kill. I wanted some real food and saw they were open. I went inside and was greeted by wonderful staff. I asked if the kitchen was open at 10:30am and they said yes. So I proceeded to order the combo Beef and Chicken plate and a cup of coffee. The food came out within 10-15 minutes, I wasn't in a rush and it was delicious. The chicken wasn't dry, the beef wasn't dry, and both were seasoned well. The basmati rice and flat bread were the stars for me. As good as the meats were, the rice and bread were better. Both were fluffy and had a real savoriness to it. It was so satisfying. The coffee was strong and dark but not bitter. It was similar to percolating coffee so the flavors were rich, deep and strong. Overall the staff, food, and service was excellent. I'd stop here for Middle Eastern food any day.

Finally got to try out Rumi's since their rebrand to a full restaurant setup. They're a small family owned business so there's still a few kinks to work out. But overall, I had a wonderful experience. I ordered the rose latte, which had a very light and creamy flavor. They also let me know about their date latte which is currently their most popular. The kebab plates were wonderful too and the meat was super tender.

Stopped in after shopping at Trader Joe's & Kohl's. This is such a cute place. Love the decor. It's quite. Tried the qaimaq chai. I had no idea what qaimaq was but I love trying new things so I ordered it then researched after I received my order. So Qaimaq chai is a rich & creamy tea made by combining strong black tea but I think this was a pink tea cuz it was pinkish. Combine it with qaimaq which is a thick clotted cream. It's A traditional drink in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. It was slightly pinkish & it was so good. Staff were friendly. You can order breakfast items or lunch like butter chicken bowl & salads & lots of sweet treats. I'll be back to try the Dubai cheesecake & the butter chicken bowl.

This is a charming place for snacks and treats. It's small, with one aisle of spices/seeds/snacks, followed by the bakery section and the register. Around the aisle is a seating area with many tables. There are also some tables outside too. They have a variety of snacks, drinks, etc. Everything in the bakery section looks delicious. The staff is friendly. They have a few pistachio desserts (roll cake/milkshake) which I love, along with Dubai Chocolate. They also sell Rose Water (which can be used to make Turkish Delight). This place is located by the Daiso store.

We've been wanting to try Rumis Oasis for a while. It's located in the same parking lot as Trader Joe's grocery store and the new Skecher's shoe store. With that being said, ample parking in this shared parking lot. As you enter the door, there's a register counter to you right. There's a few aisles of grocery items. Towards the back, there's where you can order a meal. There is a kiosk to make your order and pay. The lady behind the food counter was very nice. They have a beautiful dining area. It's very clean as well. I liked their pizza oven. It was a hot day out. The guy making pizza must have been melting! ;) Overall, a nice place for a quick bite!

This local gem serves up pistachio lattes, excellent fried fish bites w/chutney dipping sauce and even mantu (think meat raviolis!) all while you can also shop for gourmet exotic middle eastern groceries. Located near Trader Joes/Ace Hardware/Daiso, this is a convenient spot to grab a bite or take a coffee break while shopping locally in Elk Grove. Enjoyed the fried fish bites, the potato stuffed flat bread with yogurt sauce on the side. These savory snacks paired perfectly with my pink cardamom latte. They also serve shakshuka for breakfast and have kababs for lunch as well. There is a bakery where you can also get fresh flatbread and other baked delicacies - like dubai cheesecake and baklava. There is ample seating if you wish to dine-in, but it is somewhat self serve area. Definitely worth visiting and snacking!

This place has yummy, well portioned food that we thoroughly enjoyed. Everything was fresh and had great taste. You can feel the family love from the employees and in the food.

Super tasty Lamb chops over rice. Ask for medium done and order extra salad with garlic souce

Some items at the bakery. Cookies. Carrot cake. Jalebi. Baclava and more.

Didn't even realize Rumi's was located here. Wow is it good. I only ordered chicken Sambosa's since it was an unexpected stop. But they are great. They had some baked goods. While I was there they were preparing party platters of chicken, bread, roasted vegetables and kabob. They had lots of snack items. The service was great. The you g man greeted me and as I was there many other customers came in and were quickly greeted. There was a gentleman cleaning the meat/butcher area. There was no meat. I asked why there was no meat. He said today is cleaning day. Well that is good to hear that a halal butcher takes days off to clean. Nice little bakery cafe. Locally owned and operated is the best businesses to patronize. When it is time for a meal or a quick snack. You are better off finding a local business and getting real food. Glad I found this hidden gem right in our neighborhood. Great middle eastern food that I can't make at home. I am looking forward to trying the Mantu.

My first impression was how clean and organized the place was, especially compared to most chain grocery stores. They have a huge variety of products shipped in from different parts of the world, and I can only imagine how expensive the shipping and taxes must be for such a neighborhood grocery store. I had the opportunity to speak with the owner, Adam, and he was kind enough to show me around the store. He even educated me on the meaning of the word "Halal," which really made me think twice about where I should source my food and what goes into the products I purchase. It's nice to know that the dessert section is made in house. I had one of their desserts and it's really sweet to my tasting but it wasn't bad at all. Of course, I couldn't leave without trying their food, and WOW! It was packed with flavor! Their fries are so well-seasoned, and the texture is unlike anything I've had before. The outside is crispy without being heavily battered, while the inside has this unique dense-but-light texture. They somehow feel airy and almost melt as you chew them. I honestly couldn't stop eating them, they're addicting! And if you're a garlic person, you NEED to try their garlic sauce. I love the strong hint of garlic, it was so good and paired perfectly with the chicken shawafel wrap. I also tried their chicken shawafel wrap, and it was packed with flavor as well. The falafel is very well seasoned and it was my very first time giving it a try. It was a great first time experience, and I'm so glad I finally decided to stop by.

The fries here are also great! Twice fried with great seasoning. Also great reheated in the air fryer.

Their sandwiches are already very expensive so it was really disappointing to see that paying another 6 dollars barely gets me anything. Worst offender is the kids meal.. A $16 cheeseburger that was overcooked. It even looked greenish for some reason as if the burger was a vegetable. Very odd to charge the same amount of money for a kids meal and adult entree. On top of that, I dont care for soda or neither does my kid but they forgot to give us the drink that is part of the kids meal. I mean this place is just exhausting.
