I ate all the broccolini, a few bites of potatoes, and a few bites of steak. I hate that all restaurants, because of patrons and their salt-conditioned palates, serve the most sodium-laden monstrosities possible. I didn't feel good eating it, I didn't want to eat more than a few bites, and I left the restaurant full of regret for the bites I did take. On the plus side, the beer is exceptionally tasty, and my kids both enjoyed their meals. We are leaving tomorrow and so we won't be back, but I wouldn't be back otherwise as well.

Of all the things to love about 636 (which there are many), my favorite is that when I mentioned our anniversary to the lady, she said "Oh! I'll get the anniversary confetti!" We spent a long time waiting to see if she would ask whether we needed anything or if we were finished. I've had this dish before & it's always been grest, however tonight there were several areas on the filet pieces that were raw. (I just ate the cooked steak.) Picking a nice area in the back to sit, I was greeted quick and was given bottle of water, and a nice stainless cup to drink....because the water is cold the stainless cup kept the water cold for a good while....and a bowl of water for my dog. After a little time to look at the menu I ordered the burger and salad. The time for from order to food was good, I ordered my burger rare, the burger was delicious and 1/4 lb was plenty and shared some with my dog the side salad was good as well. The sauce in the side was a good pairing with the burger. The only issue I have was the service from my waitress. She didn't come back once to ask me how everything was if I needed anything else and I didn't get asked if I wanted more water. I would recommend this place for the food and ambiance but, the service could be much better.
