I have never had a problem with rush. I purchased 2 vehicles from here before and the salesman were helpful but I'm really really upset this time. I never leave reviews especially bad ones but this just irritates me. I SPECIFICALLY asked my salesman Ryan to go through my bank RBFCU as my car that I was trading in was financed through them. He DID NOT. And even more upsetting When he showed up with my payment options he didn't even discuss the APR that I was getting offered until I was In finance which is ridiculous because all the other times they discussed the APR the term loan and what bank. I kept asking WHAT BANK? He didn't know I literally asked like 3 times. Again. In finance he said. My head was hurting already by that time and I'm 3 weeks from giving birth so Idk why but I let it slide. Come to find out in financing my APR AT 8% when I'm pretty sure I could have gotten a better deal at RBFCU. AGAIN idk why they didn't go through my bank first. Instead they went through others They went through Wells Fargo, capital one, velocity and I know because my Experian app showed me which banks pulled a credit report and RBFCU was not on there. Makes me really upset because the one bank I asked for them to look at they didn't even. I ended up signing because we were already in finance and my 5 year old and 1 year old were irritated already but if I could go back and do if differently I would not sign. I feel like I got totally played and I was just a sale instead of actually getting a good deal like I did the last 2 times. Last truck I ever buy here. And I'm stuck with a bank that has the worst reviews in car financing. Refinancing ASAP! But this shouldn't have even happened. Super disappointed . read more

Rush Chevorlet is horrible, very bad service and very slow and unprofessional. Went in to purchase a vehicle after applying for financing and being called saying I was approved. I go in and not one time was my amount I was approved for mentioned. Every time I asked what amount I was approved for, my answer was "that's what I'm checking on now." I really do not believe I was ever approved for any type of financing and think it was just a way of getting me in. If I were approved I would have been able to purchase a car and I wasn't. I was told I needed more income. The salesman was also working with another customer at the same time so he kept going back and forth between us. I was told I could not get a car in the price range I wanted which was no more than 430 a month. That's a reasonable price I'd say. I told them I'd be going elsewhere to look and they told me I wouldn't be able to get a car anywhere and other dealers are just saying I can so they can get me into their dealerships. A couple of days later the same salesman called me and asked me if I was ready for the "deal of a lifetime" that he had good news for me and I am approved for the car I wanted. I said yes, of course I'm ready for the deal of a lifetime. He then tells me, okay let me call you back with the numbers my manager gave me, they were some good numbers! Give me five minutes. Well turns out he must have called to be a dick because I never got a call back! I did however find the exact same car for the price I was comfortable with, just not with them and I do not encourage anyone to go to them. read more

I purchased a 2015 Chevy Silverado Texas Edition with upgraded leather seats. Step rails I specifically told the sales man I want the stitching to match the doors and he agreed of course. I left the truck the following we so they could take to have the rails added and the leather seats put in. A few days later I returned to pick up my new vehicle. The step rails looked great but I noticed the sales person seemed nervous when opened the door I noticed that the seats did not match the doors the leather appeared to be a lighter color not black more grey and the stitching was not white like the doors. His response was I told them to match the doors and put the blame on the Trim place. Instead of them taking care of the issue they put it on me to contact custom soft Trim to take care of. They also put several large gouge in the plastic side panels. Which there response was they were in hard to see areas. They agreed to fix once seats were completed I agreed. After speeching to owner of Trim place and RUSH CHEVROLET I agreed to let them dye the door stitching (Which has not held up very well) after the seats were completed I had to schedule for them to fix the gouged panels Steve the service Manager said he replaced them himself and when I got to truck to see work he had scratched the new panel installing it. I decided to contact CHEVROLET customer service advised them of all the problems I was having at Rush CHEVROLET and I felt like I needed some kind of compensation for the almost 3 months of headaches the Chevy CS rep agreed and said they would contact RUSH on my behalf. They agreed to pay for Tint on my Truck but I had to take it myself to whom ever I chose to do the Tint, I agreed. Several months later I scheduled my first oil change. Which was given to me as a so called thank you from RUSH to introduce me to there service department. I received a phone call the day I of my Oil change telling me that they were under the impression that by paying for my Tint that I agreed not to take my vehicle back to RUSH because they could meet my expectations. That's Funny first time I've heard that. And second that's not what there Television ads say. Anyway today receive a call from a recorded Message From Mandy at Rush CHEVROLET asking me to sell them my 1 year old truck back to them because they have a potential buyer interested in my blue truck. RUSH CHEVROLET is the worst Chevy Dealer in Texas. Thanks to them I'm now using Don Hewlett in Georgetown and have been pleasantly surprised with there service. We have purchased two cars from here and had decent experiences with the salesman. We were on car number three, and over the course of THREE visits we were lied to, disrespected, and bullied. The sales manager could be heard talking under his breath every time we asked a question, he laughed in our faces a few times, and made promises he had no intention to keep after pressing two cars on us that he knew we couldn't afford. One day we were told that he could put a bonus tag on any car he wanted, and the next day when we came back we were told the cheaper vehicle we wanted would actually have higher payments because it didn't have a bonus tag. He talked us into a Sonic for a lower payment, and we planned to come back in the morning to finish paperwork. The sonic now has higher payments than the car we originally wanted. Our salesman was very professional and we really wanted to buy a car just because we liked him so much, but the sales manager was horrible. I understand up-selling and a business mindset, but the rudeness and remarks from the manager were too much. Well, don't be confused by the rating....First let me say that I received a Credit Recovery Letter in the mail, I called and scheduled an appointment. The whole time I had only been in contact with Sarah, but at the time of my appointment she was not working that day. We met with Dave Slama, and boy was I IMPRESSED! this man not only is a salesperson, but a true caring, helpful, listening type of man which is usually unheard of in the car sales industry. Dave worked hard for me to get me into a NEW, dependable, clean, reliable vehicle (that I absolutely LOVE). The only reason Im giving the rating of 2 stars, is that the WAIT was absolutely insane!! My appointment was at 11:30am and we did not leave there until 4:15PM!!!! I do realize that finding lenders and financing takes some time, but I was totally unprepared for the wait. The most professional and efficient sales team I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Chelsea Raymie is a jewel. Even though it was pouring down rain and cold, she did not hesitate to grab an umbrella and show me some cars. She took the time to explain the operation of the car and still to this day, if I have any questions, I can text her and get a reply. The finance manager was also very easy to work with. My Experience: I stopped by to have my fuel filter changed at about 1:00 pm and Grover said they couldn't get to it at all that day. I went down the street and had a new fuel filter put on at the oil change place. After about 150 miles, my truck wouldn't start and I had it towed in to Rush at about 1:00 pm on Wednesday. As the wrecker drove away, I called to let Grover know it was coming and what the symptoms were. I was transferred to service, went to voicemail, and I left a message for Grover to call me. When no one called by about 4:00 pm, I called back and refused to be transferred to voicemail. I stayed on the line with the receptionist for a few minutes and then was transferred to Grover. He said they wouldn't be able to look at it until tomorrow (Thursday). Grover called me Thursday at about 11:00 am and said they would need to replace the fuel filter and the fuel water sensor. I agreed and he said it should be ready in a couple hours and he would call me when it was ready. He didn't call at all on Thursday, but I figured it must be ready, and I had a ride to pick it up at 7:30 am on Friday morning. When I got there (about 7:40 am) they hadn't started on my truck yet, and said it would probably be late afternoon before it would be ready. They gave me a ride home, and I cancelled the trip I was supposed to take with the truck that afternoon. At about 10:30 am, Grover called me and said the truck was ready, and they did send someone out to pick me up so I could get it. My problems with the service experience are: 1) It took 3 days to get a fuel filter change 2) No return phone call when I had the truck towed in to the shop 3) The estimated times of when it would be completed were way off, making it difficult for me to plan to pick it up, or make plans for the rest of my day(s). read more

I would recommend that people looking for a car stay away from this dealership. After receiving good service from Rush on a Chevy truck purchased from the previous dealership located in Elgin, they were my first choice to purchase a car from for my wife. After looking on-line and finding a number of cars that met her needs, visited the dealership and selected two cars that she liked. Ask what the price would be with my trade-in. After about a 1 1/2 hour, the salesman comes back and said that we could get one of the cars for $249/m. I said no, what I wanted was the price with trade-in. He went away and came back with the so-call prices written on the same sheet as the $249 price. No information on what my trade-in would be valued at, no information on cost of TTL and the values of cars didn't match what was posted on-line. When called on, salesman said "Oh! We made a mistake." I also discovered that the salesman and sales manager appears to have shopped around to find financing for a car that I had not even made a decision on. The staff is dishonest and unethical. Would now not recommend to anybody while in the past had recommended based on service staff. read more

i had received a credit recovery program in the mail to get a car and build credit. i was excited at the chance to stop driving my clunker and get a reliable car. it started off ok them being nice and friendly. boy was i in for a ride after they kept egging me on to have a co signer even though i was pre approved alone with no co signer they worked with me and offered me a deal, the car was in ok condition but was promised it was mechanically sound and i could trade up with in 6 months. well i went ahead with the deal and signed and was told i could pick up my car in a week after they did a inspection and cleaned the car. this is were it starts i cam to pick up my only to find the radio was not working anymore sensors were out car was dirty and a empty gas tank. seeing it was my first dealership purchase i went on ahead and scheduled a appointment to come get minor things fixed as i needed to work and need transportation then. after going back and forth from week to week waiting for parts wasting my time and just plain bad business. i got my plates and was told i would get my inspection sticker when my plates arrived. well i didn't and they could give it to me cause i live in the Austin area. so the offered to refund me the sticker price after i go get it inspected. i agree and go a inspection place and then it gets worst turns out the master cylinder was leaking brake fluid and was leaking into a booster. the cost to replace such parts was 800 dollars at least. i figure no big deal i got a warranty they dealership will fix it. boy was i wrong they told my my warranty didn't cover jack squat from wat my salesman had told me. so i have a car the cant get inspected and i haft to pay to fix it. all in all shop around and look else were i suggest. they are quick to sell u a car but quick to not help you out. will never go to this place ever again. worst first car purchase ever. read more

My experience with Rush Chevrolet started out very good. Back at the first of Feb 2017 I had , had an accident and had totaled my vehicle. I was working with my insurance company to go and find myself a vehicle to replace the wrecked one with.I had heard their(RUSH) commercial on the radio about their credit rebuilding program. So I went in and started working with their salesman... let me say here this was the only nicest part of the experience after all was done. Helped me a lot and I appreciated that from him no one else there. They took me out to test drive the car I wanted which was a new Malibu but after again all said and done they told me that they could not get me approved for the Malibu but could get me approved for a new chevy Trax. So I went and test drove it and decided that I wanted it and they are nice vehicles.So they then told me that I needed a little bit more financial on the financing.So my partner that was with me agreed to co-sign the note with me. It got approved but then they tell me because he has decided to cosign the note with me that we could qualify for two vehicles. This was great because he was wanting to get into a vehicle of his own. They finally agreed to approve him for a pre-owned vehicle and found a really nice vehicle for him.Well went to finance and signed all the paper work on contracts for both vehicles. We left with a new 2017 Chevy Trax and a 2015 Dodge Dart which was in good shape.Then it began it seemed like a week after they were pestering me for re copies of our recent pay stubs and also our W-2's. I finally got that settled and then they got into pestering me about my previous vehicle that I wrecked being paid off with the car dealership that had financed it. I called my insurance numerous time in a two week period requesting letters from them that things had been settled with that. Then a week later I was summoned and my partner back to Rush to sign contracts again since they had to go with the finance company that was going to finance the Dodge. So we did just that. Thinking finally everything had been settled, they started in on me again about the payoff on my previous vehicle. This was really beginning to get get ridiculous. So once gain I jumped through the hoops and loops for them. But that was not good enough for them so Finally some asshole from Rush with the last name Campos called me and said we needed to get it settled because time was running out on this, so I tried doing what they asked and then finally their finance manger Eddie Campos called me and said I needed to bring the Dodge back as they could not get it financed. It really is funny to me that we had signed the contracts and deals and STILL it wasn't financed two times this was done. .COME ON. a legal and binding contract signed sealed and delivered. Well I took the vehicle back to them but I am thankful that my Trax deal was definitely a done deal and I have it. Just let me say here RUSH CHEVROLET is bad news go somewhere else to shop they will definitely screw, glue , and tattoo you for sure if they can.I have found another Chevy Dealership I am happy with that will be doing all the servicing on my Trax. read more

They have the worst service department in Texas, " you will be sorry" ! I purchased a brand new truck . and on the same day paid for a bed liner. took the truck in the next day dropped it off. came back at the end of the day. and walked up to the truck and immediately became mad. the bed liner did not fit and looked like children had installed it. to add insult to injury found that the had scratched the tailgate all up in the process and covered it up with marker !!!! I went in to speak to the service manager John. and he acted like it was no big deal. I then became irate. demanded to speak with the general manager. he came out looked at the truck and just shook his head in disbelief. He did make them remove the liner and had a sprayed in liner installed at no cost and fixed the scratches, but was without a vehicle for 4 days while this took place. I thought well enough. next visit took the truck in for first oil change. came to pick it up, found an employee sitting in the cab with both feet kicked up on the door blaring the radio as loud as it would go and eating his lunch in the cab. mind you this is a 50 thousand dollar truck. spoke with service manager. once again acted like it was no big deal. called and left a message with manager. never got a call back. so then about 15 months later I was told they had cleaned up there service department . I had a windshield wiper sprayer quit working. took the truck in , my wife had to wait for several hours when told 1 hour for repair. they said the replaced defective part. used the sprayer twice and then it quit 1 day later. when I talked to service dept. they said they couldn't get to it for awhile. I then took it to another dealership in Austin to be told they had never fixed the sprayer to begin with and had jerry rigged it to work . but still filed a warranty repair with Chevrolet. I contacted Chevrolet had the current shop report what they had found. and am awaiting a call back. I cant warn the public enough about this service department. New cars are expensive and a huge commitment. BUY YOUR VEHICLE AND HAVE THEM SERVICED AT ANOTHER DEALER SHIP . YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!!! read more
