I've taken both our vehicles to Rush for service & the care for ones time and priority are NOT there! I myself had three incidents that rate a no no for me! One me being a mom of three and having to take time each way (30min drive) to either be told OOPS we made a mistake your not due for that or OH well we will have to see why that happened but since its three and half months well I don't know.? NO take responsibility its called service! No one has serviced my vehicles besides you all and dealt with our warranty's so its funny when crap hits the fan they fold there hands and say oh well sorry. NO sorry is not enough when you are considered "certified for Chevy" this is poor care and lack of attention. My truck was called for a recall, NOPE not mine!? Then I needed a part changed/replaced On my warranty. I called over and over and over to make sure the part got done and replaced. NEVER got ordered when told I had to keep reminding them and then it got done! Then I went to have my baby and had to drop my car off night before delivery to make sure this got done! Crazy even at that I called to check up THEY NEVER CALL YOU BACK! then my oil was not tightened enough at my last oil change in feb. (count three months b/c I drive no where!) NOW may.... to end up noticing the lack of oil running thru, heard a similar knocking and when I did notice and brought to there attention well "its too far back, its already due...." ok! THIS STILL SHOULD NOT HAPPEN I DONT CARE HOW OLD THE OIL CHANGE WAS!!!!!! you did the last oil change! what if my engine would have blew!? I'm SO OVER IT, just done. I hope not all Chevy dealers are this way and take care of there customers b/c so far RUSH has NOT! Still waiting to hear back on there piss response. But will see what if anything gets done or at least a check for my piss poor service I paid for! Will NOT be going for service or Purchasing as planned. We will take our vehicles else where & make that purchase elsewhere also. SAD just SAD! The actual "manager" of service LORD he needs to be addressed in how to deal with customers and make sure they are the priority. His attitude and his domineer are all wrong for "service care" and he is NEVER at fault! has a damn excuse for everything. read more

I bought a truck in october 2019. At the time everything seemed good. They worked to get payments where I wanted and everything was good. However yesterday I traded that truck in for a different truck at a different dealership, this is where the problems showed up. I bought a used 2015 Silverado from Rush. They did not tell me it had been wrecked twice on the passenger side both times by the previous owner. Knowing this now they over charged me for the truck and did me wrong this significantly hurt the trade in value on the truck. They did and when I asked them over the phone with my history and the honest truth is it worth me driving to Elgin. Oh the guy was like dont want your money and just bring your ID and we will get you done. On my application I made sure to let them know I had no down payment OR co signer. Just went a while ago to get a newer work truck and decided to go here local and has been one of my worst decisions ever. These people are just a joke and don't want to help at all. They sell you a used truck that's not even serviced like if it was brand new. I don't recommend this place at all. I'll prefer to drive into town and shop there versus rush Chevrolet. read more

I could not be happier with my new vehicle or my experience at Rush Chevrolet! I went in on a Friday, hoping to trade in a financed vehicle for a newer one with lower monthly payments. My credit isn't great and I had a repo on my credit from 2 years ago, so I wasn't expecting anything to happen but stayed optimistic. I also had my 3 yr old son with me. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, and tolerated and even played with my son. We were at the dealership for 5 hours, but it was well worth it! Ruben went above and beyond to make sure I left in a new vehicle, and I am just over the moon with my brand new Chevy Trax! The employees even watched my son while I signed all of the paperwork. We bought an Equinox last May (2018) and LOVED IT! We were allowed to take the car home before signing papers since they were working on upping our trade in. We came back on Sunday and they were amazing. They got us at the payment we needed and they got us the car we loved. Then fast forward and we were taking the car to Florida for a road trip and I was worried that we would need an oil change, so I took it to the service center and they were honest which was a first for us. They said it wasn't time for an oil change and that the oil had more than enough life left in it for us to enjoy our trip and to get home. When I brought it back to after the trip our oil change only took 20 minutes and there was no up charge or trying to get us to buy anything else. We can't wait to go back to Rush and buy our next car. read more

I would not recommend this dealership too anyone I have purchased 2 brand new chevy trucks from them. A 2018 chevy Colorado and a 2022 Chevy Silverado. Both have had to go too the dealership numerous times for the radio and touch screen malfunctioning and both with transmission issues and or electrical issues. Both of which have been horrible experiences between the lack of communication from the dealership to the ability to actually fix the problem. The dealership nor GM stands behind their products and ultimately I am once again paying for a broken truck that their own mechanic road in the vehicle with me and attested that there was a problem but now the claim there was never anything wrong with it. However they did me a courtesy repair yes Repair of flushing my transmission not once but twice on a new truck with 20k miles on it and did all these reboots etc but there was never a problem. Also never provided me a loaner for the almost 45 days my truck has been in the shop total and refuse too offer any kind of reimbursement for my time or the time without my vehicle. They also ask me to leave my personal trailer with them to be able to use to diagnose my truck also not reimbursement for that either GM even refused to send me an email copy of all of my service records and or documentation. Sad thing is that I have to write this review without ever setting foot in this dealership. I had heard good things and was having bad luck with poor Chevrolet dealership customer service across the area either being rude or seeming completely incapable of correctly setting up an appointment. And once again, I am left unsatisfied and ticked off. Called to set up a servicing appointment last week and spoke with a gentleman on the phone who took my information down (not my VIN, although I did offer it) and said he would be able to service the car today from 1 to 6. Alas, having had issues with idiot dealership employees across the area, I called to confirm my appointment this morning, only to get the response that no they had no record of my appointment, and they would not be able to get it done by 6. I said that was fine, but if that was the case, then I'd like to request a loaner vehicle, to which he responded they had none. It's a dealership, for crying out loud, you have NO spare vehicles lying around? Really? Once again fed up with another lousy dealership in the area. God I wish I can give a ZERO star rating. Please any one with a good conscience do not come to Rush Chevrolet for a vehicle I have never given a review but I can't believe how they got away with this. I went it was told I got approved on a Sunday and left with the vehicle I financed on June 26th of 2022. Come July 20th almost a month later I supposedly was never approved my vehicle I traded in WAS SOLD WITHOUT EVER BEING PAID OFF BY MY LEANER!!!! THAT IS ILLEGAL!! I have filed a police report as well as made a complaint to the TxDMV. God I wish everyone that goes here has a different experience. After not being able to talk to anyone I came in July 21st and told them I wanted my car paid of as soon as possible and to keep the vehicle they sold to me the dealer ship when I came in on July 22nd again they proceeded to say the got a loss too of 4,000 from my vehicle how are y'all getting a loss from 4,000 when they sold my car for the same price as well as getting the car back that they will indeed be reselling and who had sold a NEW vehicle to my fiancé who also traded in his vehicle which they are now selling the Dodge Challenger for 10,000 more than what they gave him and what he bought for it. My wife and I attempted to purchase a used SUV from Rush. The salesman was new and did his best, but the rest of the staff left him hanging as complications mounted. One week later, I took delivery on the desired vehicle only to have it fail to start after getting it to our home. We ended up buying the loaner vehicle instead but we still had to go back twice to complete paperwork since it was not done correctly the second time, for the second vehicle. The management says the right things about customer service and has made promises about additional services as an apology, looking forward to a follow through. As another example, the vehicle has been back twice to be detailed for the sale, and still needs to go back again because there is still animal hair in the back. Two weeks ago last Tuesday I took my car in for a oil change. I had no idea that a certified dealership could possibly due the following: Stripped or rounded the oil drain plug and passed off the cost of the replacement to me! Took over 15min to report to me that I had a nail in one tire. Put the wrong oil in the car and then had to start over. Very defensive conversation with the service manager; he had an excuse for everything that happened. Yes, he did not charge me for the service, but I told him that was appreciated but not necessary. I tried to tell him that I wanted Rush to be my dealer and just win me over with reassurance that this experience was not to be expected again. He rudely, with no words, handed me the keys when the car was finished and walked away. Really, REALLY! IF I return it will be because a Tornado dropped me there or my family buries me there when I die. Do not take your eyes of your car; if you do you will get a surprise I am sure. Came in to the dealer ship on Sunday after speaking with the internet sale person on that Friday. Told her my situation bad credit no money down and owe more on my trade in. I knew it was going to be tough to pull off but ceria (im not sure how her name is spelled ) said yes hard but not impossible. So came on talked to mark told him my situation and went from there. Looked at a cpl trucks and went from there. Mark and the team worked for hours Tring to find me a deal couldn't get it done on Sunday but he said he will keep going also needs some more info from me that was not available on a Sunday. So jump to Monday. Got him the info he needed and he shoots me a txt later on say he has a cpl option and for me to come down. So I drive there he goes over my options letting me know the truck I wanted just could not happen. Like I said I knew it was gonna be hard. So we settle on another truck and he goes to work again. Always coming over and giving me an update. Finally a few hrs later he comes over and says congrat it's yours And on my terms and less than I had planned on paying a mth and ended up with a brand new truck. These guys are great. Even the paper work part was great normaly they fly through telling you where to sign. But he was slow and explained every single bit to you. I have even requested to have a copy of the inspection done on my used car and never received it. This has to be one the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Took in my truck that I was told I needed a new engine on. Wanted to get a diagnostic from the dealer that should know Suburbans better than anyone. They called me and told me that I just needed spark plugs and wires.. I asked if they were sure.. They assured me their shop Forman was working on it and that was all it was. At this point I'm thinking maybe the other shop was trying to take advantage of me. I told them I didn't want to buy an engine from them that I was going to buy it else where I just wanted them to tell me if I really needed one.. They said this would take care of everything ... Days later they call to tell me I need that new engine... And that they needed to do 700$ worth of work in order to be able to diagnose it properly... I said that wasn't the previous conversation and if you had called me and told me I need to spend 700$ on something that if I did end up needing and engine would then be bring it and those items I just bought I would be paying for again... My experience was good, UNTIL I purchased the vehicle. I feel I was pushed into something I really didn't want, but I needed a vehicle at the time. I had questions, and would never get return phone calls. Ive only had this car 6 months and it already has 2 recalls which, no parts are available. I've called the dealership and left numerous messages for the manager/supervisor to call me to discuss myself trading in this vehicle, and till this day no response. I am BIG on customer service - basically, treat me with respect and I will do the same. I live in Austin and have been to Capitol and Henna. Both operate fine service departments but are always very busy. I used Don Hewlett in Georgetown for years and they have always provided top notch service. I moved closer to the toll and began using Rush in Elgin a few years ago. The first couple of service advisors I was fortunate enough to deal with were wonderful. I recently returned for a $400+ repair and had the pleasure of working with Annette. When picking up my vehicle, I had another repair that I had her quote - that one was closer to $600. I waited about a month and decided to move forward. When I phoned to schedule, Annette was busy so I requested to speak to another advisor since I was sure quote was still in system. The other service advisor (mid aged gentleman) had no service skills and made me feel like I was bothering him. I ended the phone call abruptly and got the work done elsewhere. I had the same indicator light come on from previous $400 repair and scheduled return service appointment with Annette. I was disappointed to learn that this was her last week. I knew she would take care of repair so wanted to ensure that I got in before she left. Again, I drive from Austin so had to drop vehicle off early to make it back into town so I could begin my work day. Annette asked me to check in with her replacement because I mentioned that the other gentleman was not my cup of tea. I get there at 7:15 and the rude gentleman is the only one in service area. I greet him with "good morning" & ask for Mike (that is the name I thought Annette mentioned was her replacement) this guy just stares at his computer monitor and then begins repeating "Mike, Mike". Do I stand in the doorway for 5, 15, 30 minutes and just stare at you? I walk off and hear him yell, "I don't have a Mike". I ask the nice lady at front desk if there is anyone else that can check my vehicle in because the other gentleman is rude and I refuse to deal with him. She laughs and replies not until 8:00. I left and will take my business back to Don Hewlett in Georgetown - it is worth the drive and $. I have also used Covert in Hutto a couple of times - never had problem with their service. If you don't mind being treated to poor customer service - this is your place. I am just not one to pay for this kind of service. read more

Their sales staff is friendly and the service staff is very helpful and welcoming. I have referred a few friends to this dealership, yet their first grievance is "why does the commercial for this dealership state they are in a traffic free zone?" Whether you're in Austin, Manor or Elgin; 290 being your only way in and out of these towns and traffic only keeps growing more and more each year. Honestly if you have ok credit or good co-signer/down, and everything up to date, this place is pretty smooth and welcoming. Our salesperson was nice and was trying his best with my bad credit and my gf's ok credit and eventually got us a deal that night with a loan for a good car, 2500$ down and full coverage and we could drive off, only problem is it was 8 at night and my insurance was closed, we're told okay get insurance, come tomorrow and drive off, we said okay. Mind you we do have document issues that they aren't up to date and we can't update them anytime soon, they were told and said okay no problem just give us expired ones. Next day i get full coverage and get off work early from San Antonio to come back to Elgin, we arrive and manager tells us there are problems with documents and bank wouldn't accept it ( after not being called to alert us at all during the day) now we can't take the car. Because i work far we got there late he said if he tried this one thing it might work but we would have to go back the next day (Friday/ Today), okay, my gf had to keep calling to see the situation and manager told us it wasn't looking good. I got off work early again and came to Rush to see the situation but ended up getting refund for down payment. What makes me upset is how i had insurance on car and told our offer was accepted ( told we needed to pay down that same day) yet when we came to pick it up we had that issue after dealership knew and told us it wouldn't be a problem. Now i have to wait to receive my refund ( funny how when they want it it's now and when you want it it's ohhhhh you'll have to wait) and i have time wasted by driving there, also don't forget all the banks who ran our credits, multiple! Honestly the process started out pretty good. I went online, filled out the application, and immediatly heard from Ciera. First off, Ciera was very helpful and this review is not meant for her. It is meant for management. She herself when available (big WHEN) answered my questions. Hours would go between communication about whether or not they could help me get into a truck. Usually they were in management meetings or lunch breaks. Either way after that first initial communication......it was awhile before I would hear anything back. I get it. My approval was going to be tough. But I was willing to do what was needed to get a vehicle. After about a week Roxy called (Sunday) said that the banks that were open on Sunday were not giving positive responses but that she would try more come Monday. And it is Wednesday, and ghosted. No return call. No if you do this we can maybe do this conversation. I could have come up with more down or a co-signer. I had options but they never asked for them. Big let down and waste of time. Except for Ciera. When she was there and available she was helpful. read more
