Food and service have always been a 10! I always have a hard time choosing between the food options because everything is so delicious!

I decided to give Rush Creek Bistro a try for my birthday, but unfortunately, the experience didn't quite meet expectations. To start with the positives: parking was easy and the restaurant itself is beautiful. We were a party of five with a reservation and were seated promptly. Since it was our first visit, we let our server know we needed a few minutes to review the menu. However, she didn't offer any suggestions or highlight popular dishes. When we asked about a specific appetizer, her only comment was: "Yeah, some people order it and it's pretty big." We kept our order simple--no alcohol, no substitutions, and we made it clear how we wanted to split the checks. Despite that, service throughout the meal was lacking. No one offered refills, and we had to flag down the server twice just to get hot sauce. We ordered items like the Turkey Club, a Burger, a quesadilla, French dip and a pasta dish. We also splurged and ordered a few appetizers. Our only dislike was the quesadilla. It was hard, bland and no toppings offered for the price you pay. Everything else tasted great. Given the beautiful setting, I had hoped for a more polished and attentive dining experience, especially for a birthday dinner. The fact that our server didn't even acknowledge the birthday celebration felt a little disconnected. Although it's not required of course but it would have been nice. read more

First time at Rush Creek Bistro. It was wonderful. I was meeting up with friends for dinner. We sat on the patio and it was a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather! Our server was new but did a great job and he was very friendly. Our food was delicious. I did the steak on the hot rock and it was great! Picked this spot by random, very nice place, didn't know it was a golf course until I got there. I ordered a 'new menu item the spicy Italian sandwich, very good. The servers were attentive and friendly. The kitchen may have been a little slow but who knows if they had some big parties going in the other room. read more

Drinks needed 20 minutes. Food needed 45 minutes. Food had a vague recollection of when it was warm. Service was not attentive. (Water refill was requested but never executed.) Manager was overheard telling a staff person "We're not that busy right now." Amusingly, the waitress carded a 63-yo because the management knows not to trust the staff it hires. Love this place. If your going for a full dinner, this is the place to go. Outstanding service, outstanding food and outstanding drinks! Sometimes we just go and get a few appetizers and drinks and the food is always outstanding! They do change their menu quite often and sometimes favorites are no longer on the menu. We miss the fried ravioli ! And quite awhile back they had bacon brussell sprout tacos that were awesome! Wish they could bring them back. Can't miss with this place. read more

We had a birthday dinner for a party of eight and unfortunately left very disappointed. Our appetizer arrived cold, and while we expected some delay due to it being Veterans Day, the overall service and food quality were well below expectations. My kids ordered burgers plain but received them fully loaded. They were very hungry, so they scraped off the toppings and asked for new buns. I ordered the New York strip medium rare and asked that it be cooked in the kitchen instead of on the stone. The waitress said either option was fine, but the steak came out burnt and cold. When I asked for a replacement, it was brought back with the same char, on the same plate, and with the same cold fries and broccolini. I ended up eating it, alone after my family had finished. For the price of the meal, this was a very disappointing experience. I wrote directly to the restaurant afterward but never received a response. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these service and quality issues so that future guests have a better experience. read more

Server was great, my food however was not. I ordered the Eggs Bendict. The eggs were practically raw, so gross. The English muffin was very tough, hard to cut thru. By far the worse Eggs Benedict I've had. Mimosa was delicious. read more

My husband's NY strip was awful - you couldn't even cut it with a steak knife so much fat n grizzle. It was horse meat. Service awful- got there at 6:26 pm water finally at 6:47. Pizza burnt. Do better. read more

Our group of four recently enjoyed an absolutely delightful dining experience and meal at Rush Creek Bistro! All four meals and desserts were exceptional. My husband believed his Cajun shrimp and grits to be the best meal he enjoyed in a long time. All desserts were superb and excellent service all the way around. Thanks for a great evening! This was our first stop for restaurant week 2022, and I'm so glad it gave us the boost we needed to try it! I opted to do the restaurant week special of 3 courses for $30. I started with the squash bisque as my first course, the cheese sacchettini for my entree, and the flourless chocolate espresso cake for dessert! The soup was the perfect portioned little cup of warmth, the cheese sacchettini had a very flavorful sauce, and even though I was stuffed by the time I got to dessert, the chocolate espresso cake was worth finishing My fiancé Derek got the french dip with sweet potato fries. The fries were perfect crispness without being over-cooked. The sandwich was pretty good as well, but Derek thought that either the sandwich itself or the au jus (or both) could benefit from a little more flavor. Rush Creek also has a spacious event area! Derek worked as a a banquet server in a past life, so I think the country club atmosphere was maybe giving him some flashbacks while we were there, but I think this place is worth checking out! On 9/19/25 a party of six was treated to a special $200 dinner at our host's favorite restaurant, Rush Creek Bistro. Four of the six dinners ordered, were unacceptable. My family owned a lobster- steakhouse restaurant in Tucson for 40 years. I know the business of fine food and service. Neither exist at Rush Bistro. Two of the dinners featured chicken with sweet potato and Brussels sprouts. The sweet potato and sprouts were inedible. The kitchen solution was to throw them in the deep fryer and they were returned burnt and harder than before. The third guest ordered a large ribeye on a hot stone. His steak was served on a dinner plate, no stone. The forth guest ordered a grilled glazed salmon. He substituted the two coconut sides dishes with potato and beans. After eating half the salmon one of the guests asked where was the glaze? The waitress said that because the two sides were changed, the kitchen decided not to serve the glaze. I explained our poorly executed dishes to what I thought was a manager. I explained why the four dishes were unacceptable and she ignored my concern and exited the table. After we left the restaurant, I called the Rush Bistro and explained to the "manager", trent, the whole situation. I suggested he call the host, a very good customer, and discuss the dinner. I suggested a 40% accommodation would be fair and appropriate. He said NO, the customer had to call him. I told trent that if this problem was not resolved, I would write this review. He accused me of threatening him with a bad review. I merely said this was not a threat but my resolution. One of the guests visited the restaurant the next day and complained about her meal. The restaurant gave her a $25 (i think) gift card for a dinner she did not pay. Finally, this location is a poor excuse for a better resturant. Poor service, poor food, poor execution. The incompetent management team failed to address a significant negative dinner experiance for one of its loyal and repeat customers. Shame on you. read more

Reservations for 8; table set for 6. Ordered our meals; when finally brought to the table, my order was missing. Two people in the group received cold food. Sent back to the kitchen; no food came back. Never received my order at all. We were there 2 1/2 hours waiting. Final results: 8 people ordered, 5 meals delivered. I ate leftovers at home. read more

Service was so slow. Our group of 8 waited at least 15 minutes for a server to even approach us on the patio. This was a Sunday afternoon and there were not many people there (no one on the patio which is where we sat). Had half a caesar salad and the fried ravioli appetizer. The salad had no dressing on it. It was romaine pieces and some croutons without dressing or cheese. I borrowed some ranch dressing from my dining partner because it was so dry. The fried ravioli was over done and empty (supposedly filled with cheese) with a side of tomato sauce with some pepperoni that was super heated on a stone. Had the salad had some dressing on it I would have been happy, perhaps with some shaved cheese; but it simply was romaine with some croutons. Sorry so disappointing. The fried ravioli was over fried and empty, no cheese inside or perhaps overcooked; even with the tomato and pepperoni on the side; boiling in a skillet it was not satisfying, Service was slow at best; drinks took forever. We attended Rush Creek for Thanksgiving buffet. The dining room was lovely. But the music was loud and inappropriate for dining at Thanksgiving. While the gluten free dishes were marked the herbed turkey breast was place in the same pan as the dark meat that was covered in gravy. When I asked if the gravy was gluten free I was told it was not. I was unable to eat the Turkey because of the pan situation. But a bowl of gravy was sitting next to the turkey so I didn't understand why they mixed the the gravy with the gluten free turkey. When I pointed out the error nothing was changed. this could have caused unaware Celiac guests to become I'll. read more

I loved our experience at Rush Creek Bistro! We went on Valentine's Day. The thing I really appreciated was the atmosphere was very relaxed and easy to hear each other talk. Many restaurants have terrible acoustics and are loud which can make it hard to have a conversation-- not so at Rush Creek. The lighting is nice and they even had a fire lit on the patio. So A+ on atmosphere!! The service was excellent and despite the holiday food came quickly. The quality of the food was top-notch. I had the seared Tuna Steak which was plated lovely and tasted great with all the dipping sauces. Also, going out to each can be quite pricey these days-- I thought their prices were very reasonable for the quality of the dining experience. I definitely recommend Rush Creek Bistro! read more

Food was adequate, although overpriced. Menu on website includes many items not on current menu and many items priced higher than on website. Cup of lobster bisque $8. No pieces or slivers of lobster. (Bone Fish Grill has wonderful lobster bisque with a large chunk of lobster. $10 a bowl.) The walleye platter was good, but only 2 small (3 oz?) pieces of walleye with fries, a few onion rings and pickle coleslaw (interesting) for $25. Service was so so, they weren't busy. The atmosphere here is actually really great. There are large floor to ceiling windows all around. Creating a very open feeling and making it so there really isn't a bad seat in the house. This is one of my Aunt's favorite places so I thought it would be fun to try. I ordered the Club Sandwich with onion rings. The sandwich was huge. I ended up taking half home. For me that's rare. The sandwich was excellent and very fresh tasting. Even as leftovers that night it was really good. The onion rings were also excellent, none of those survived lunch. My Aunt also ordered the Club, but with sweet potato fries. I stole a few of the fries and they were very good. My Aunt stated her food was very good. The service was very good. It was nice to eat in house again. The waitress did a good job of all the new rules. Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Yes I'm sure I will. read more

Went there to celebrate a 50th anniversary and 70th birthday. It was a Friday night and reservations for 5:30. Ordered the combo plate which included a 1/2 BBQ chicken and they had NO CHICKEN! Substituted a thin, fairly dry chicken breast!! Manager was not interested in customer service or satisfaction. We did eat what was on the platter which was 3 hush puppies, small amount of green beans, 5 burnt ends that were dry, small coleslaw which also was not very good. Overall not good. When the manager did come over and the platter was empty (I had asked him not to charge us for the food) upon asking him that his comment was " so who ate all the food "! What were we suppose to eat...that's the combo plate they gave us!! This is the 3rd time we have been there and each time they have been out of chicken. No matter the weekend day or time no chicken. It's always hit and miss with the food here but it's convenient and you can always get a table. Tonight it was particularly bad. We started with a meatball appetizer that was well done on the outside but raw in the middle after that it went downhill. My wife and I both had the fish. She had the perch I had the walleye. Both were very poor but the perch was plain awful, overdone and very dry. The walleye was some of the worst I had ever had. We soldier through and try to make do with the coleslaw and onion rings /fries. Coleslaw was awful because of terrible dressing and extremely strong onions. Yes strong onions in coleslaw my god. The fries were good but onion ring partially overcooked like the perch. I understand the fish is not the regular fair they cook here but it was the monthly special so they should know how to cook it. Excellent menu. Lots of steak choices. I tried the salmon. It was nicely seasoned on a bed of crunchy risotto with far too much butter. We were with a group and many had steak - looked yummy! Didn't have much time but wanted a quick drink in the area. The seasonal drinks were amazing and had lots to choose from. Ended the night on a concoction that the bartender made for me. Can't describe how amazing it was. Blast of flavors instantly. The bartender Katelyn Hopp served my friends and I amazingly and made sure we were happy with the service. A terrible experience. We went on Fathers Day for dinner, the restaurant was not busy. The waitress brought us the wrong drinks, the appetizer was not what we ordered, and once we did order our dinners, they never came after waiting more than 30 minutes! We asked to speak to the manager. He came to our table about 10 minutes later. We got up and walked out and I handed him our check. I'm not paying for lousy service. This is not the first time we experienced bad service here. They need new management. read more
