    Garlic cheese bread
    Helen G.

2nd time here, we ordered the chicken aboca, lunch special lasagna with fettucine, meat lovers pizza, lunch special diablo chicken, and chicken picatta. The food itself was really good, especially the alfredo fettucine and the chicken aboca. The alfredo was creamy and cheesy and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The chicken aboca had a wonderful fragrant basil spinach cream sauce and the chicken was tender. The meat lovers pizza was okay and had a large portion size, but nothing particularly special. The chicken picatta was a little sour as supposed to be, and the chicken diablo lacked a little spice for our taste. All food other than the pizza came with salads which had great dressing, and they serve bread and olive oil while you are waiting which is really good. I docked a star because service was really slow even though we were the only customers. The owner or manager offered us free refills on our entrees as an apology which was very kind, although we were full. Overall a really great place for good Italian food with super reasonable prices and portions.

I stumbled on this restaurant looking for restaurants near my home. It was within walking distance so I took a stroll to the restaurant. This is a very charming restaurant very family oriented, and you can tell that it is frequented by the neighborhood. The staff was friendly and attentive without being invasive, Haylie served me at the bar as I was eating alone. I had fettuccine Alfredo and a glass of Merlot wine. The fettuccine was fantastic! It had a little different taste than I was accustomed to, but it was good and different. Also, the bread was very fresh and the oil for dipping also was season quite well. Prices are very reasonable and overall I had a fantastic time. A great restaurant just to get together for a business meeting or to go out with friends for a good time. It certainly earned five stars from me Chris.

This place used to be pretty good, but, after last night I won't be back. $13.99 for baked penne, the salad is no longer included (which they didn't say) so when asked if I wanted a salad I said with house dressing. Add $3.99 for that. The food wasn't worth the money, my vodka sauce didn't taste very good either. My husbands dish which had mushrooms also very clearly came from a can.

The food is delicious. They make one of my favorite margarita pizzas (no red sauce, they use a olive oil/pesto blend sauce).

Did they close down? I went on 10/16 at 11 am and the doors were locked.

Maybe they were a little late opening but to my knowledge all is well! They are closed on Sundays.

We had scheduled an early dinner (6:00) and there were only 7 tables throughout the night enjoying dinner service. Well, we won't be going back till the addition to the restaurant is completed, due to the noise factor!!!!!!! There was sawing noise which was so loud we joked it made us feel like we were at the dentist office having a negative experience. Along with nail guns, not what you wish to have when you're trying to have a an enjoyable dinner experience! Upon being sat we asked Patrick, our server, if they were going to continue working and he was very put off by our question. He told they were about to wrap it up for the evening. Nope, still going strong at 7:00!!? We should have left...but we had committed to the evening by ordering a bottle of wine, meatballs (deliciousness!), and salad that came overdressed with dressing (yuck!). My friend ordered the Margarita pizza, which they left the fresh basil off, which is a key ingredient. Me, the sea-bass, which was overcooked & very fishy. My hubby the pork & beef pasta with ricotta, which was overcooked and mushy. Needless to say less than stellar. And Patrick was not very friendly or accommodating. Worst night of my Life, I was so embarrassed! When dining, you usually have background music, not a building under construction??!!! $200 dinner, ruined, horrible!!!!

It's hard to find Real carbonara out anymore. I don't know if it's the eggs in there that restaurants or people are worried about it but I don't have a problem with that at all. Service was excellent on the evening we were there. We started with the mozzarella garlic bread, appetizer with spicy sausage. It's a huge portion enough for three people easily. Very good. Salads were nice and very fresh tasting. They certainly weren't bagged lettuce as you get in some restaurants these days. For entrées, the pasta Gianni was the big hit. Great flavor and you have your option on pasta and I chose penne. For dessert we had the special cheesecake which was amazing. Prices for wine, cocktails, and food are all very reasonable. We had a really nice time.

When I entered, I was rather uncertain. The space looks like a stereotypical pizzeria. I wasn't impressed at all, but I was too tired to leave. HOWEVER, my attitude quickly changed as I was greeted by the outstanding wait staff. Over the course of my visit, I was checked on several times by what seemed to be either the owners or managers. In the heart of a busy city, these men went the extra mile to make me feel like a welcomed guest in their home. It was a very nice experience. I ordered the lasagna on the server's recommendation. What a plate of food! The meat sauce was not skimpy at all....lots of beef and flavorful seasoning. The noodles were soft while still firm enough to maintain the shape. The generous portion and the really soft bread were a great dinner to bring a long day to an end. As a lover of Italian food, I plan to visit several area restaurants over this weekend. Most Friday nights we order an X Large pizza and a few other menu items we pick up. The last couple of Friday's the pizza was a little dry. So, this past Friday, we ordered the X-large build your own, which included 3 toppings. We usually only add one topping and half of another on the pizza. In the comments, I asked if we could get a little extra sauce with a question mark. While I was driving to pick up the order, I saw an additional charge pop up for $1 that said customer requested. When I walked up to pick up my order, I asked about the charge. She said it was for the extra sauce. I asked if extra sauce would be counted as one of the 3 toppings and she said it wouldn't and a charge for extra sauce is automatically charged in their system. I said it seemed it would be covered by a topping, but ok. As I was walking out, I saw the owner walk up to the checkout person and I heard her say, "he's just mad we charged for extra sauce." I didn't appreciate that being said because I didn't raise my voice or do anything other than ask and say I thought the extra sauce should be covered since I was charged for a 3 topping pizza. I wasn't rude and I didn't use a negative tone. Overall, this was disappointing for a business we frequent. I'll know next time about extra sauce.
