    Egg breakfast again.
    Jody B.

Taking an adventure day. Wondering around looking for a place for breakfast. Decided to stop here. I had the bacon, eggs, toast and potatoes. All very good. Service was ok. Food was better.

    Chicken fried steak and eggs
    Karen ..

Went in for breakfast on a busy Sat morning, when the Port Orchard farmers market was opening for the season. Overall, great service. Food was mixed. My California dreamin' omelette tasted great but the home style potatoes were plain and unseasoned. My toast took forever to come out, was toasted but cold when it arrived with a packet of butter on the side. It was also white bread, not sourdough like I ordered. My partner ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs, which he said wasn't seasoned well, biscuit was dry, and his potatoes also had no flavor or seasoning. Chairs are uncomfortable to sit on. They had heaters on so it was a little warm. $50 total for our meal including coffee and orange juice.

Wagyu Sliders with fries, Bacon Cheeseburger with fries, and mimosa flight.
    Brittani B.

Food was great! I got the Wagyu Sliders and my wife got the bacon cheese burger, they had a special for a mimosa flight, which were all delicious, Pineapple, Orange, Cranberry, and I think pomegranate. The cranberry and pomegranate could have used a little more flavor, but still good. Both had the perfect sear and flavor. We were just shopping at the bookstore and smelt good food so decided to try it. Staff were very friendly, welcoming, and overall great service. The area was beautiful, the natural light from the big windows in the ceiling, the great breeze from the opening.

That's one breakfast It was so good!

I will continue to be a return customer Already best CFS breakfast and steak dinner I've had in a long time

Crab cakes eggs Bennie. My favorite thing here for breakfast. Worth the visit.

The service was underwhelming from the start. There seemed to be two waitresses working, but neither of them seemed overly enthusiastic to be there. Neither ever engaged in any polite conversation, just seated us, took our order, delivered it to our table, brought the bill - simply going through the motions. The food was also a bit underwhelming (especially after reading all of the five-star reviews). We ordered the pad see ew with chicken and the pineapple fried rice. The meat in both was terrible - completely overcooked. While the flavor of the pad see ew was at least good, the flavor of the rice was one note (and that note was curry flavored). For $20+ per entree, we expected more. Perhaps this was just an off night (as other reviewers seem to have had better experiences), but it was not a great look for our first visit. Pro-Tip: Come after 6:00pm, so you can park across the street (without breaking parking rules).

We found the restaurant no problem and street parking was easy. The restaurant was clean and great decor inside and a friendly worker quickly guided us to a table and started working on our Thai Ice teas. Delicious as we'd hoped! The food arrived shortly after. Everything we tried was very fresh and high quality ingredients, The spice level was perfect and the over all quality of the meal was top notch. As mentioned, we were on a road trip and don't live close by, but we've managed to find an excuse to come back two more times. My recommendation would be the beef massamun curry! The first time I ever had Thai food was at a small place that fed the Thai Airline crew and the server explained to me different dishes and highly recommended this dish. It's been my go-to ever since and Khao Soi does an incredible job preparing it!

We had a very nice server, however she never even asked whether we wanted a second drink - fair as we most certainly didn't. I ordered the special margarita (dragon fruit and mango) - instead I got downgraded to the house margarita which tasted like sh$tty margarita mix sans tequila. This absolutely terrible drink was served in a tumbler sized glass full of ice, as if I would not realize the drink scam going on here. My wife ordered a strawberry basil summer cooler - it lacked flavor and even the hint of ETOH. Well, that was the highlight of our onetime only experience. The food was completely lacking in seasoning - the chefs must have been trained in Poulsbo. My best guess, drunk boaters do not care that the food is not well cooked and under seasoned. Given their likely inebriated state, they probably also don't care that they are being given drinks with almost no alcohol and even worse execution. Caveat Emptor

We were running a little late so I dropped my wife off and went to find parking. When I arrived to the hostess she was already seated. We had a great server, Tamika. She was friendly, upbeat, informative and appropriately attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. We ordered brunch: Eggs Benedict and the San Juan Scramble. My wife said the Eggs Benedict were the best she ever had. It was simple, but each element was prepared to perfection and the combination was delicious. I would agree but that is based on the one bite I was allowed! My scramble was great. Perfectly cooked eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Our plates were both clean. We didn't get pictures, but our plates looked just like the pictures on their brunch menu online. What a great start to our day! Parking is usually not a problem, but today parking in the garage one level below the restaurant was a little tight.

The waitress was welcoming, cleaning behind the bar since there was no one when we came in (pre-dinner on a weekday). We got the traditional chips and salsa, but here they also include refried beans. All were good, the salsa was bland and could have used some jalapeños. Menu is your classic Mexican food, we ordered the Carne Asada Fries (app) and the 3 protein fajitas. The meat was seasoned and the fries (extra seasoning) had a seasoning salt. The cheese was real, not nacho cheese and the fries were crunchy. I wish there would have been more meat, as the size was small pieces and not a lot of it to be carne asada fries. The fajitas were the best part, from the cook to the seasoning. We asked for flour and corn, not sure if we paid for the extra tortillas. The 2 dishes came out just under $60, so the pricing is a little high but still worth the visit.
