Alarm bells should have gone off when it was Saturday night during peak dinner hours and the place was dead, but we decided to give it a try anyway. That was my mistake...We just had the worst interaction at this restaurant, and it reminded me of why we stopped going here long ago. We had to order at the bar, even though the guy was standing at the register in the front, so we had to wait a while, but that was fine. The cook then came over and started to take our order before the bartender cut in. Somehow in the mix, they didn't understand that I wanted a side of queso and chips (which is on the menu). They kept saying they were giving me nachos, and I had to remind them multiple times that I didn't want nachos, I wanted queso with ground beef like they had always done. The guy said they don't do that, so I told him that is fine and to just give me a side of queso with chips. He told me they are going to get me the beef in it since they used to do that. I said it wasn't necessary, but he insisted. Then I got asked if I want extra cheese. I asked, "For what?" They said for the nachos. I reminded them again that there should be no nachos...The guy was clearly getting annoyed with me, and I was given a bill for 4 tacos and an order of nachos. I had to explain to him again because I was charged $10 for nachos instead of $5 for queso...He refunded me, and then I ended up in the end getting a box of chips (looking like nachos), with a cup of super, salty beef with no queso. And tacos that were also too salty to eat. My lips are still burning from the amount of salt, and half had to be thrown out along with the cup of salty beef. The entire thing was pretty funny, but I wasted money, and your new bartender isn't very charming and does not know the difference between queso and nachos. This is a clear training issue on the part of management. We won't be back. Haha! read more

This place definitely isn't a 4 star spot. Tacos are ok and portions are good, definitely not anything special. The bartender is acoustic and won't stop talking to himself or you. The flow makes 0 sense you walk up to the menu/where the counter is and the bartender is shouting at you across the restaurant that he has to take your order all the way over there? There's a random lady that I think was a customer making her own frozen margs, and to top it off the water tastes like soap and the bartender knew it but still tried to see if I'd take it. Everything we had was totally fine, but our favorite thing wasn't the foot but the outside seating. Chips and guac were 3/5. Maybe a 2. Lots of tomatoes and the guac was really thick. We love tomatoes, but it can be a filler and well, no thanks. Also lost cool points for it being served in a styrofoam cup. Unnecessary. Chips were also a B. Tacos were good. The rajas was my favorite and my husband liked the steak best. He had 3 and I had 2. Both were full in the end. Kids got quesadilla kid meals and they were substantial. Our 9yo has a decent appetite and finished his plate but said he was full. The red and green salsas were both good but served in tiny plastic cups. Like why? Outside seating was ample and margaritas were $6 each though I didn't have one. You can sit at the indoor bar or the bar extends outside too for a cool flair. When we got in we told the bartender it was our first time and what did they suggest, he shrugged and the other couple suggested the Original Fried Chicken taco, and I am so glad we listened! Wow I'm totally impressed this place is so fun and delicious ! I am a little bit picky when it comes to tacos but this place nailed it! It reminds me of a taco shop in Texas Everything was extremely fresh they have a pretty extensive menu and all the prices are very very reasonable. I would say they are bigger than street tacos especially if you get the flour tortilla I literally got full off of one They have a full bar which is really nice and the bartender Alex was absolutely awesome! Happy hour is Monday through Friday 3 to 6 and I got a margarita on the rocks for $3.24 Oh they have a deal but it's only for to go orders family pack of six tacos or 10 tacos mix and match I got the six pack it came with queso guacamole and salsa and my order came out to roughly $24 bucks I will most definitely be back to this place! read more

Amazing! We went here for the grand opening today and we were impressed! We already knew we liked rusty tacos because we've been to the Gilbert location, but we loved this spot! It is cool how they have the full bar. My fiancée got a beer but I got the jalapeño watermelon margarita on the rocksX it was delicious and refreshing, just a hint of spice. I also got two rajas tacos, one with guac and one with potatoes, and a black bean taco. I couldn't finish all the tacos since I had so many chips and salsa, and queso! Everything was awesome. My fiancé got bbq brisket tacos and egg cheese and brisket tacos. He really enjoyed them but his only complaint was that some of the brisket was a little fatty. The food was terrible and we really felt like we were an inconvenience to the workers for being there. We were hoping that was a one off but it was even worse today. Most however are really great like their fish tacos and there Baja shrimp tacos are really great and packed with flavor. So excited this opened today! The decor is trendy but laid back and there is plenty of outdoor seating. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable and our to-go order had everything we needed. We ordered one of each street taco (except the fried chicken) and our top were the beef brisket, BBQ brisket, and steak fajita. The rusty, grilled fish and picidillo had good flavor but were on the dry side. Each taco comes with a little lime wrapped inside (great idea!) but they were dry too. It would have made the tacos perfect with lime juice. The margarita had an excellent balance of flavors and tasted handmade but had no buzz. We will definitely come back and dine in next time as I think the key to the dryness is the lime juice. Over all this place was fantastic for opening day. The chips were crisp, thin and perfectly salted. The queso is spicy and habanero sauce is great. This is a great addition to the area for tasting street tacos that I would expect if I were in a beach town in Mexico. read more

I have to give this place 1 star because I placed an order online to pick up and it was completely wrong. I don't mind it if they fix it. The problem is when I went in there I was completely ignored by an entire staff of people in the kitchen. I stood there making eye contact with these people and not being acknowledged until the bar tender from across the place made her war over. She let the kitchen know what I was missing as she pulled the ticket. The cook in the kitchen with the beard and lousy attitude grabs the ticket and is clearly annoyed as though it was by fault.
