New favorite type of burrito. Surfin burrito served here at senor tacos. Good and fulfilling. Just what I needed after a long days work.

I originally found Señor taco in the Litchfield park area when I was working out there as an alternative to the other Berto places. Their tacos were FAT and meaty and juicy. Now they are everywhere and although I feel like the quality and the quantity are not quite the same, it's still good and still better than the other guys for this kind of food. I don't always get the tacos any more and I've found that this is much more than a "TACO" shop and they really do have good stuff. If your ever looking for a good taco, burrito, quesadilla, or combos featuring any of the above, check this place out and I'm sure you'll find your true Tex-mex spot for sure read more

Dios mio! So much food! I over ordered again and regret nothing. Generous portions. I ordered a shredded beef taco (crispy perfection) and a chicken quesadilla. I forced myself to finish half. Both items were ready very quickly and incredibly hot (temperature wise). Taco was crispy, the mild salsa was very flavorful. Quesadilla was filled with cheese, refried beans and chicken. Good food, but rigid policy killed my years of loyalty. I've been a regular at Señor Taco in Scottsdale (the one near 87th St) for years - always recommending their shrimp burritos to friends. On April 7, 2026, around 1:30 PM, I ordered two full priced burritos to go (about $27 cash). My wife specifically reminded me not to forget the chips, and our dog was waiting in the car, so I went inside alone. The cashier was friendly and I was the only customer. She kindly pointed out the salsa bar when my order was ready. But when I looked in the bag and noticed no chips, she told me chips are "dine-in only." I politely explained the situation: I wanted a small handful like usual, my wife was counting on them.. She stuck to the policy, walking away and still in disbelief, I asked for the logic behind it. She didn't know why. Those 8-10 chips probably cost the restaurant pennies, yet they were willing to lose a long-time customer over it. I let her know this would be my last visit. If I would have bought the $4.99 bean burrito, and ate inside, yep, free chips. But $27 to go, nope, ZERO chips!? It's disappointing when a small gesture of good customer service gets overridden by an inflexible, an idiotic rule. This experience shows their customer service is dead on arrival for takeout. I won't be back, and I can't recommend them anymore. Help join me supporting an even better Mexican restaurant; Maskador is about 1 minute away. And, they have a better product. read more

We came here in hopes of good authentic Mexican food and were completely let down. The woman at the counter was so unfriendly, no hello, no thank you, no smile, even though there was not a single person besides us at the restaurant, she seemed to be inconvenienced by our presence. We ordered a chicken burrito and shrimp tacos and a horchata. The chicken was undercooked and had no seasoning at all, the shrimp taco came with soggy corn taco and 4 small pieces of shrimp and a gallop of sour cream and thats it, no lettuce, no onion, just the saddest looking taco we've seen. Also 3 single chips where in the basket it was laughable. The horchata was just sugar and cream and not even any cinnamon in it. We took one bite and couldn't even eat the rest. There was five of us and there was plenty of seating. Outside too which will be nice for the spring weather. The inside is clean and tables are nicely spread out. Bathroom was clean too. We ordered Carne Asada w/red Chile Burrito, two taco combo, quesadilla with Carne Asada & street tacos. Food is good and the portions are pretty filling! Delicious breakfast burrito this morning from @senortaco.scottsdale right off the 101 and Pima. The tortilla was fresh and this thing came out steaming hot. Literally the size of my hand and packed with goodies. Went w the build your own with eggs, hash browns, cheese and sausage. Others I heard ordering got the standard breakfast burrito which I'll prob try next time. Nice interior seating with a few outdoor tables also. I wasn't a fan of the mild sauce. Had a unique flavor that just wasn't for me. However, the diablo sauce was . Great flavor and nice spice level. Also had some consistency so I could pour it on each bite. Burrito came in at $10.99 and we made this a combo with rice and beans for $3.99 more. Add on a few extra super huge tortillas for $0.69 each and we had more than enough to feed the three of us. Thought it was pretty good value for the quantity. Stop in and give this place a try. I'll def be visiting again to try some other menu items!! read more

I would have given a 3-4 star rating, but the extreme salty meat in the bowl reduced the rating. The Californian burrito was tasty. The fries add that extra delight to the first bite The carne asada bowl was inedible. It was so salty. . I added lettuce to try and reduce the saltiness. Did not work. I had my friend taste it also and they could not eat it. Their tolerance for salty things is pretty high The rolled tacos were good. Decided to try Señor taco since it was a new kid in town. It is located on the Southeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Pinnacle Peak. It is in a shopping mall slightly south of Sprouts foods. We both decided on the chicken Baja bowl. Staff wore masks and gloves and are friendly. You can either dine in or take out. They also have a drive-through as well as tables outside. Service is quick and one of the staff brought my takeout food to me. We thought the chicken was a little salty. The bowl is ample and I had leftovers. The guacamole is a nice touch. read more

Senor Taco is a very nice, clean restaurant with nice decor and ambience. The counter lady, Angela, was very nice. My breakfast burrito with ALOT of eggs, cheese, potatoes was HUGE and top ten best I ever had. I had to leave some for another meal later. It was piping hot, super fresh and delicious. The condiment bar is really nice too with a variety of salsas and pickled veges. For dessert, my filled churro was great and the size of 2 churros from other places. A lunch spot close to our office so we have added it on our list. They have been pretty busy in the two times we went there for lunch. You order at the register and they give you a number for your order. They either call it out or they bring the food to your table; I guess it depends on how busy they are. I normally order the steak fajita burrito which comes with chips on the side and you have a salsa bar to get your side/dipping salsas. This second time I had this dish at this location, the food was super fresh and hot, a positive thing right? Not this time though, only because it was soooo hot I burned my fingers especially when the grease or sauce whatever it is started to ooze out of the burrito! No matter how long I waited and even by the end of the meal, it was still boiling! I think this would be a great take out option but I won't be ordering it again in the restaurant, not only because of the heat but honestly, because of the amount of grease I saw come out of this burrito. I will probably try a carne asada burrito next time. Overall, food here is consistent and pretty good. Also very filling for the price we pay. DESERT BURRITO I was rushing around getting ready for my event in the evening. I knew I needed a quick lunch or else I wasn't going to get a meal until very late. I stopped in and placed my order. The staff was very friendly and the food was delivered quickly. I had to get a burrito because they had my favorite combination. The ingredients are so simple but yet it's hard to find this type of burrito in Chicago. Luckily the Mexican restaurants in the west get it. I ordered the Carne Asada with Pico & Guacamole. It was so fantastic. Honestly just three ingredients mixed up together never tasted so good. Here's a bonus too, if you dine in. All of the burritos are served with Chips and sprinkled with COTIJA Cheese. I wish I lived closer because I'd get this burrito every single time I visited here. I also couldn't resist adding on a taco. On Wednesday, they have a fish taco special and I jumped on board. There's totally a fish pun in there. I must admit that the taco was really good but my burrito was the bomb. It was a quick stop for lunch and I'd definitely come back here again to eat. I did learn that they have 11 other locations around the valley, so that's good to know on my next visit back to Arizona. I hope all the other locations are as good as this one. read more

This Senor Taco location has an authentic ambiance and I had the 3 rolled taco plate with rice and beans. Wow! This simple but basic Mexican plate will have you coming back again and again. After trying many of the Mexican restaurant chains in the greater Phoenix area, I figured it was my duty to try this one out. I tend to favor the taco shops that offer seafood, which they do and a whole lot more. The menu is overwhelming to be honest, but the staff is helpful so that's a plus. The decor/ambiance is nothing to write home about, but it is clean which is a plus in my book and all that matters. We ordered the fish rolled tacos (5), the shrimp corn tacos and chips, guacamole and salsa. Unfortunately they got the rolled taco order wrong, it turned out to be beef, but they had no issues re-making the order with fish so I have to give them credit on handling that well. Just remember, if your rolled tacos come out with guacamole, tomatoes and cheese you've got beef ones, and if they come out with crema and red and green cabbage and tomatoes you have the fish ones. The rolled fish tacos were good, but I wouldn't order them again. The corn tacos were crisp, the toppings were good, BUT the fish was buried in all the flavors that I couldn't tell you what was in them. I enjoyed the shrimp tacos the most, they were perfect with plenty of shrimp filling and seasoned just right (though I favorite the ones at Rubio's just a bit more). The corn chips were crisp and fresh and a generous bag, with lots of leftovers. I did not care for the medium red salsa it came with one bit. I'm not sure if it's a one off, but it was as watery as tomato juice (maybe even more so). The green salsa was much better, and I'm so thankful I got guacamole because it was a lot tastier and didn't just roll off the chips. All and all it was a good stop for Mexican food, but I feel I'd have to try at least a handful more items from the menu to give my final feelings about the Senor Taco chain. read more

I ordered one Carne Asada burrito and 10 street tacos. Street tacos were like 2.50 ish each and the total came about to be around $40. I'd rate 5/5 for the burrito and 4/5 for tacos. Taco meat was bland and tough to chew compared to the meat in the burrito. But overall both were still good. read more

I've always loved Senor Taco for their fish tacos, but have recently become a huge fan of their Carne asada and Pollo asada. The North Scottsdale location has a drive-thru which I love. They also offer Margaritas when you're dining in which seem to be on a permanent $3 special. I have been ordering a bowl that includes rice (hold the beans) with either Carne asada or Pollo asada. Includes guacamole, sour cream, cheese and a topping of tortilla strips. This is a very affordable restaurant, and this bowl is at least two meals for me at a price point under $12. I can make a meal on a single carne asada Taco here they are so huge, and the meat quality is far better than their competitor Oscars down the block. Patio is sunny and pet friendly. read more
