Best pizza b town! I like this place! I don't frequent any local bars, but if I did it would probably be here!

We've come here a few times for pizza and beer. They have good pizza. And you can pick it up to go if you like. They also have a decent but limited lunch menu. I had the chicken sandwich. It was pretty good. My husband had the steak sandwich. And he liked it. Lunch was good and the price was great. read more

The former Tracy Joe's is now Rusty's. Owned by Rusty. A place very much for locals. Ancient Tracy High jerseys, from when the Bulldogs WON THE SECTION, grace the walls. You can run into old high school football coaches, old high school football players (which means they're 25 or 30), and Tracy Little League dads hellbent on getting their 12 year olds to the LLWS and hellbenter on telling you all about it. Love you, Bob F. Decent enough place. Jukebox. No pool tables. Good draft selection. Tasty pizza. Lots of booth seating. i had to call 911 .. literally everything aside from the bartender was terrible!! the "security guard" who was heavily intoxicated very suddenly called last call but instead of saying the words he told everyone "get the fuck out!!!" of course me being the only new person there i was targeted and bullied out of the bar while everyone stayed and watched..i was told racial slurs by another customer but was still told to get out by the staff who was siding with that customer because they had a history at the bar.. i highly do not recommend this bar for any new resident.. stay away as they do not respect new residents to their town.. i got this vibe from more than just one customer.. i don't understand how you expect to grow a business with this ignorant and prejudice mindset. for a customer to have to call 911 against staff members for my safety is just a level that shouldn't be reached by any person. read more

Rusty's! This place is brings me back to reality every time I visit the city of Tracy. Both my brother and sister went to HS with Rusty. It's a local dive bar loved by many; I think quite a few Tracy High School reunion after parties have been held here... Here's one place where you can get some AMAZING pizza! No joke. Stuart "Rusty" Clever Jr simply has the Midas touch. He can turn a turd into gold. In 2006 he purchased Tracy Joe's which was in my opinion was a cataclysmic shitshow..Owner thought a George Foreman grill would fix the fledgling establishment. It didn't. Rusty bought the joint and immediately made pizza the way Larry Grebil did in the 1960's as the original and first owner of then Larry's Pizza. Rusty is one of my best friends and has been longer than most have been on Earth. The pizza is the best IMHO ANYWHERE you care to compare with. Fuck the show Cheers.. Rusty's is where people know your name, where there's a legit family feel to it. No dress code no stuffy assholes no social class levels. Just the best Goddamn pizza on God's land. The best staff you'll ever encounter. Last but DEFINITELY not least..THE BEST FUCKING PROPRIETOR, FRIEND, BROTHER and one who leads by example by working all week cooking, taking care to his customers who are more his expanded family while leading his crew while working with them side by side. First time visit. Walked in at 1:40 PM. Waited at the bar 10 minutes until 1:50 when we were helped. Only to be told that they just stopped serving lunch. The sign said they served until 2:00 pm. I realized it was close. As a first time visitor we didn't know they didn't serve food between 2 PM and 4 PM. However the server delivered food just a minute before. We then thought we would just get a beer. They had Deschutes on tap, we asked which Deschutes beer it was and the waitress said "I don't know". At this point I thought it best to just leave. This place could have had great food but I would never know because we couldn't get served. read more

Rusty's is THE place to get a burger in Tracy! You only have a small window of availability...11-2 I think...so make it fast! Big juicy patty (you can tell it was hand-formed not some frozen mystery meat!) with a nice bun. It comes with mayo which I declined (ew!!!) and lettuce and tomato. Squeeze bottles of ketchup and mustard on the table...and you are set! Best part is...the burger (which must be 1/3 pound), your choice of chips (plain or bbq), potato salad or macaroni salad, AND a draft beer or pop...is only $6!! I've heard their pizza is phenomenal too...just haven't had the opportunity to hit them for dinner yet! It's a little dive bar kinda place...but it truly is an amazing burger...TRY IT!!! read more

This place is a hole in the wall bar. It's always pretty busy with people. But their pizza is BOMB!! So good. The crust is cooked well. Pizza is never soggy or drenched in oil. Loaded with toppings! We heard about this place from a Facebook group. At first I thought, can pizza from a bar really be as good as folks were raving about? Naturally, I yelped it. It actually looked really good! Decided to give them a try about a year ago now. We have been ordering from them since. The pizza is tasty and reasonably priced. A large pepperoni is only $13! Their garlic parmesan wings $7 (I think there are 8) and chicken strips $5 (you get 5) are really good too. Highly recommend. The kitchen seems to work pretty hard to keep up. Obviously this review is long overdue. Sorry about that Rusty's. Just ordered so reminded me to Yelp while I wait the 30 mins to pick up my order. We've only done take out but it looks like they did some remodeling and it looks nice inside. Loss of one star because the girl there isn't always the most friendly but I'll assume stress from being busy plays a factor. Also, they only take cash. I'm not a big fan of businesses doing that. While they do have an atm right in the bar, they also charge a fee to use it. Kinda annoying to pay their fee and a bank fee because of their cash only. Doesn't stop me from going though. read more

This bar is definitely a hit or miss kind of place. It's generally a good place to stop in for a beer and a few conversations. I wouldn't recommend this bar if you're looking to go out and have a great time. If you want to just hang out, then this is the place to go. They have a fully stocked bar, jukebox, plenty of booths and bar stools, and a boxing game. They are also a pizza place and I must say that their pizza is AMAZING!!! I would eat Rusty's pizza every day if I could! The type of people who hang around here can be sketchy at some times. It seems to be a local spot for a couple different motorcycle clubs, but they aren't here every weekend. I'd recommend this place as your starting bar. Have some pizza and a few beers, then head off to bigger and better places! read more

I've been going to Rusty's off and on, and it's probably my favorite bar in Tracy. It has the best ambiance, and by far the best bar food. Their pizza is incredible. It's definitely not for someone on a diet though. The crowd varies and most everyone is super nice. I've had two run-ins with guests at the bar, but they never escalated. read more

Wasn't sure of the place at first but we decided eh why not, we wanted pizza but we didn't want any other ordinary pizza so we gave this place a try. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was perfect-cheese, crust and LOTS of pepperoni! Good if you wanna catch a game at the bar, too! We will be back! read more

Impossible to describe. A few extremely loud patrons, no big deal. Very long wait periods for drinks with less than 10 customers and 2 bartenders, a frustration. When bartender finally comes over and is so unintelligent that she answers this question this way... "your special says 'any flavor Kami $3' what flavors do you have?" And she answers, "any of those over there", pointing to about 20 bottles of vodka about 20 feet away from where I was sitting and expects me to make an order from that. My family has been coming to this place since it was Tommy's and Tracy Joe's. My grandma used to only buy pizza at this place. I LOVE their pizza. Everyone I talk to loves Rusty's. The people are really nice and laid back. It seems like everyone knows each other. Last time I went was karaoke night, and it was so fun to watch (you wouldn't want me up there singing). Food is amazing however the customer service is horrible! I asked the girl several times for ranch and she was on her phone in the kitchen ignoring me. Finally she said "can u wait just a minute" in a very rude manner. Don't think it was very sanitary to be on your phone in the kitchen in the first place. Called in a few months ago to place a take out order. The lady puts me on hold but I can still hear everything in the background. I went here by a recommendation from a neighbor. I ordered a pizza that was made by a woman who wasn't friendly and seemed not to like her job. But the bartender who was making drinks was fantastic!
