Moved to tracy from Sacramento not to long ago. Had to check out the hype about Rustys finally. Service, food and atmosphere is phenomenal. BUT- there was one particular individual that really gave me the creeps. Apparently he's a regular and always does handyman work for the owner from what a fellow drinking buddy told me. The guy took out a bag of white substance and and as I looked closer I realized it was METH!!! WTF!??? People come there to eat with their families and children and this moron (who also kept trying to flirt with my niece) was selling meth in the back patio to very young customers. Tried to get his license plate but saw that he has a handyman business. Looked it up online and theres a picture clear as day of him doing cocaine!! Cmon Tracy!! WE ARE BETTER THAN THIS. This guy needs to be put behind bars. It sucks that he's a regular. I do plan on going back but this time unfortunately I'm afraid to bring my neice. I wanted to tell the owner but he left before I could. Again, the food and atmosphere was awesome until the goblin-like creeper showed up. Hate to make this a negative review but people need to be aware when bringing their children. read more

See I never leave bad reviews but these people are just rude all the women in the kitchen are rude everytime we go have 0 manners and they are taking shots getting drunk In the kitchen. We ordered take out Pizza, all vegetables with Italian Sausage. They were nice but the cashier that handled the money also makes the pizzas! we all got sick! We will not go there again. Ordered pizza as we had heard it was the best in town. Was not really impressed with it. Pizza, like any food, is really something that is varying, so just because we were not impressed, doesn't mean someone else will not be. Absolutely love rustys. It's a local dive bar great community we all support rusty, his business, and his workers. I saw the last review and uhmmm they have never served or advertised sushi? Lol. Amy goes above and. Beyond for her customers. She brings so much personality that it's infectious and we always have a great time. Her bartending skills are amazing and how she can keep smiling when her bar is packed amazes me. You can't get that great service in most bars these days. Cool little hole in the wall spot to kick it at and meet some local yokels. The bartender Izzy was cool af. He introduced himself immediately and shook my hand. That was a very honorable thing to do. If you love music, get a TouchTunes account and play all the music you'd like from that app there at Rusty's. The only thing I didn't like is that they had most hip hop blocked out of the jukebox but with no rhyme or reason. In one hand you could play DjQuick's SBP but on the other hand you couldn't play many well known rap music. Not to mention I couldn't play any Bobby Caldwell, and that's just a damn shame. read more

Rusty's definitely has some of the best pizza in town. Flavor wise, my pizza was delicious. it also had a good crust and a good toppings to cheese to crust ration. Still, there are a few things that keep it from being the very best (at least for me). First off, I like a little more sauce on my pizza. I like to be able to taste it and on my most recent pie I could see it, but not taste it. I also wish they used fresh mushrooms. there is a big texture difference between canned ones and fresh. the canned ones tend to be a bit gummy. There was a time when fresh wasn't always practical, but I'm betting they do enough volume that it wouldn't make a difference. We also really liked the Stromboli. Service was fast and they have really affordable prices too. I will try another non-mushroom combo and ask for xtra sauce next time and see where that lands. Right now they are a solid 3.5. This is a dive sports bar with full bar service and a small bar menu. Mostly pizza, wings and fried appetizers. We enjoyed our time there and the only drawback I found was that it is cash only establishment with a high price ATM service. Lots of TVs and a jukebox. read more

So usually the pizza is absolutely delicious at this place. But I came here on july 31st Sunday and the pizza was terrible! Worst pizza i have ever had. It was dam near raw. The dough was also under cooked. Horrible. Tasted like chucky cheese pizza. My group ordered a large and we had about 3 slices and we just left the rest of the pizza. Thats how bad it was. I've been in and out of this joint for more than 50 years, always good to great pizza. It's had at least 3 or 4 owners, but they all have held the course providing Tracy with a fun dive bar and yummy pizza. It's Friday I know most Restaurants are busy but I decided to go with this one. Placed an order for pick up lady said 1 hour and 15 minutes, for a large 10 slices and 1 order of wings (6). I get there it's not ready I waited 20 more minutes just to get home to find my pizza order to be wrong! I was calling and the line is busy. Next time write down the order or re-check the ticket so you know you have the order right! Oh and when I called to order I asked how many slices do they have in an XL she said ( Large is 10) I said no xl she responded we don't have XL. Well you could of told me in the beginning! This was our first time trying Rusty's and we were very dissatisfied. No major complaints on the bar itself but the pizza wasn't what I expected. There was a burnt taste to the crust and some pieces were very heavy on cheese where others had barely any. The overall flavors were not good and my 8 year old son refused to eat it. Rave rave rave...... Rusty's has been our go to pizza since moving here three years ago. Drinks are good, service is always ok and food (lunch or dinner) is always well done. Rave for today..... went in last night and they had just run out of wings, so I ordered my pizza and sat down. Rusty walks by and I looked up st him and said "rusty your out of wings" and boom..... he was gone. He was back less than ten minutes later with a load of wings for the cooks and when my pizza was being eaten an order of wings hit my table.... oh yeah...... that's taking care of your customers. read more

This place blew my mind in so many ways. Kids were starving and so we needed to stop and grab food quick. I didn't even look on Yelp or Google but just saw Rusty's as we drove by. I told my husband to make a u-turn and we parked easily. walking in, I was reminded of every amazing restaurant that I went to as a child. Authentic wood. Old School advertisements. Plastic mustard and ketchup squirt bottles. Honestly, I was so enamored with the atmosphere that I wasn't really counting much on the food. The food was shockingly amazing. We ordered a cheeseburger with bacon, medium rare. It was juicy, thick and hard to put my mouth. French fries were perfect. Chicken sandwich with bacon and swiss. Yum! And the potato salad, as advertised by our waitress, Veronica, was amazing. I'm not even a really big fan of potato salad, but this one made me happy. Delicious. Service was amazing. Food blew my mind. This is definitely on my to do list when I travel past. read more
