A great barber for most, but was not for me. Guy has a great personality super chill, cali laid back vibes getting a cut in an RV with the California breeze on your face. My only complaint was attention to detail is not where I want it and admit I am particular about these things. Left and right sides were not 100% even and I had to fix a few things when I got home. Blending was even but not the point at which blending starts, the left side was a little bit lower. And cheek lines for the beard were not even, left was again a little lower than the right which needed to be corrected at home. The fade was clean, the top was okay. COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT! Called and spoke to Raul on Thursday and made an appointment for my son for Saturday at 11am. Showed up Saturday five minutes early, nobody home. Waited 10 more minutes, still nobody home. Then I tried calling Raul and got a message that his voicemail was not set up. Are you kidding me!?!? Talk about unprofessional. If he couldn't do it he could've at least called me to reschedule. My time is valuable as is everyone's, and I don't like it wasted due to a lack of courtesy. I found RV Barbers, I called them up and even though business hours were already closed he said he is still willing to give me a cut. It turned out that it's only a one man barbershop. I mean, even better because those tend to be the best! OMG, it was the best haircut I've gotten in a good while. I've gotten haircuts from top notch barbers as well as shitty barbers who don't pay close attention to detail and just want to be done. So I know when I meet a good barber. Raul was a top top top notch barber. He has high customer service skills. He took care of me, he "pampered" my hair. I'm glad I found him, he's a really nice guy. Raul is such a great barber that I mainly signed up for Yelp to write a review about him. I originally met him when he was working at a shop and was excited when he decided to go off on his own. Normally I wouldn't be a fan of going to an RV to meet a guy with sharp objects, however, I was not disappointed or scared. PROS: -not having to wait for over an hour or so to get a haircut. It's nice to schedule a time -comfortable setting, so much better than than when you go to the shops and they make you stare at the people getting their cut, then get stared at when you're getting cut. -He is super friendly and is nice to anyone you bring along with you. I have trolled many barbers in the OC and know my stuff and what I like. This concept is cool and it's even cooler because it comes with high quality work. This is an actual RV converted into a barbershop on wheels. He took a last minute appointment way after the time indicated on the Yelp site. I explained the haircut I normally got and he made some suggestions. The result was a fresh, new and updated version of me. A #2 undercut with a hard side part. I'm flabbergasted at how great this cut is. The RV is a great small space, blasting oldies with some old timey decor that transports you to an old school barbershop. Honestly Raul is the chillest barber out there in fullerton. Hes pretty creative in which he made his home rv into his own barber shop. He has some popping music playing the the background and he talks to you very social not intimidating at all. Needed to get a haircut for the weekend as I had an important meeting to attend for work so I needed to look good. I looked up on Yelp and found RV Barbers. I visited the location and it's very unique as Raul the barber has converted his RV into a small barber shop at home. He mentioned hes mobile too. The set up was very creative and immediately I felt at ease. Raul has great barber skills but in addition wonderful customer service. He had some great music playing the entire time and made great conversation. I fell immediately in love with experience. I dislike going to Barber shops where at times they can be short and rude. In addition you have an audience while getting your hair cut. Not here, entire experience was great. I referred my brother who also visited today and he was equally impressed.
