I had to find the discount on their website separately because they do not offer to me automatically. I am not happy with the communication and the thermostat replaced. It is a rental property. Unlike other companies I used, I never received a call 30-60 mins before the technician arrived. So I was not sure if he showed up or not. Whenever I called the company, I was talking to the teams handling customer service, not the technician directly. So there is always a middle man between the tech and me to translate information. The diagnosis was on Wednesday. I approved the quote right away after I received it. The repair was the next Thursday 8 days later. The appointment was initially scheduled for the morning between 9-12. I then got a call to say he could not make it on time and would be there around 1pm. I got a tenant message to say he still did not show up at 2:30PM without any call to inform he would be further late. What I am most disappointed is the new thermostat installed during this repair! He replaced my old programmable thermostat with a new FocusPro N100 Non-Programmable Thermostat 1H/1C. When every household is switching to a smart thermostat, he installed an ancient manual controlled thermostat! I would appreciate he could give me some option to select different types of thermostat. I would have no problem to pay for something better or even buy a smart thermostat myself. I called the company to complain about it. All I got was it is fully functional and it is more modern than my old programmable thermostat! I could not be more disappointed about this. Despite they fixed my AC, I do not feel comfortable to use this company again and to recommend it to anyone else if this is not addressed.

There was a significant six-month delay as the part was not available at the beginning of the pandemic, but eventually it arrived and was installed promptly. It's two years later now and the ice maker is working great. I'd knock off a half star for the delay which wasn't communicated well in that I was told for months it was just 2 weeks out. It was really a pandemic shipping problem. I'd prefer they say they just don't know. Tony eventually looked into it to explain what was going on. Also - I bought a new dishwasher last year. I wish I'd bought it from them as I think after installation and delivery, they were probably the best deal. Next time I will shop them first.

They do not do their own warranty work - like Yale - but farm it off to a 3rd party warranty company. This company, if they don't outright deny your claim, assigns the claim to a small appliance servicer who writes the up the repair order so that your claim never makes it off the desk of God knows who at the warranty company. Trying to get an explanation as to why your claim was denied is so painful they mercifully disconnect you before you have the opportunity to express your disappointment or ask for an explanation. So much for the extended 5 or 6 year warranty package, apparently a major profit center for Jarvis I would imagine. Run, don't walk to Yale Appliance, a 100% in house operation. I have only used the project functionality once before but ended up using someone else. My normal repair go-to did not pick up the phone so I thought why not? They literally responded in under a minute. What's that saying the early bird catches the worm? Normally, I check out the business and see how many reviews they have do a little research but I was in a hurry so I asked how much and when they could come for a refrigerator repair. They said they could come the same day, And the price was right comparatively. (Diagnostic fee is 95$ which will go towards the repair cost.) There was some back-and-forth about when they could come and we decided on the next day. Adam showed up on time, was very polite and fixed our issue! Our Refrigerator had a lot of condensation and it turns out the fan was not working. He could've just said we needed a new fan and charged us for it, but he went beyond that and went through the back panel and noticed there was something unplugged and then the fan started working in our refrigerator is working great! I have so much respect for honesty and integrity. I highly recommend using their service I believe from the other reviews that they are a new service and they deserve all the new business! Finding trustworthy repair services can be hard and I'm glad I found Pegas and will absolutely be using them in the future, and you should too!
