    Pork stir fry

First night on vacation in St. Joseph and our first meal downtown. My pork stir fry was good, although a bit too salty. The perch was also satisfying, but nothing to get excited about. Service was great - my barometer for casual dining service is whether or not I have to beg for drink refills, and my Coke runneth over, so nicely done.

Went to celebrate with some family and made reservations here. We were excited to try this place as it was new for a bunch of us. The atmosphere was very comfortable (fireplace going) and I hear they have a nice rooftop but it was still too cold to see it this time unfortunately. The food was pretty solid, the appetizers and dips were tasty. The one negative I'd say are the prices are a little over priced. It's definitely an upscale vibe but my perch dish at $30 and appetizers all $15 or higher was a little steep and not best ever taste vibes. (Also our appetizer with naan bread per photo didn't fill up the plate and when we asked for more it was a $2 charge) Besides all that the food was solid and tasty. The vibe was really strong with the pasta and shrimp scampi dishes. My perch was just alright but wouldn't get again for the price; however the sides of asparagus and goat cheese mashed potatoes were extremely delicious and prepared perfectly. All in all a good experience, just be mindful of costs.

I can't give them any more stars because I was not here to eat. We stopped by for drinks on their rooftop and for the band. The rooftop is beautiful and the fact that they had live music made our night. We found a great spot to sit and listen to music and we did not mind walking up to bar for our drinks. The bartender was quick to take everyone's orders, even on a busy evening. I had the Rooftop Refresher which was Hendricks Gin, Elderflower, lime juice, agave, mint and cucumber. It was perfect for a sunny, warm day. This is a great spot to visit to enjoy the rooftop.

We came here for a large group dinner, and the service was great for accommodating all our needs. We sat upstairs but unfortunately the weather was rainy so we didn't get a great view. The place is cozy though and with a nice intimate interior. Wine was delicious, as was the spinach and artichoke appetizer. I got the steak salad but subbed it with mahi mahi, and this was delicious. I didn't love that it was blackened, but the quality of the fish was great. Boyfriend's cacio e Pepe with shrimp was also super tasty and a good portion.

Had a nice dinner. Great location for Silver Beach. Busy season so we expected to wait a bit and perhaps service would be a little slow. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table for 2, but they have a bar so the wait was not bad. Service was not really slow so kudos to them. They have outside rooftop seating options, but it was too humid for us so we sat inside. Appetizer- 2 entrees- 2 beers - 1 cocktail - plus tip= $107.00. Food was delicious.

Just look up our dinner review a month ago, absolutely loved the dinner. So we came back for lunch.. and ladies and gentlemen, highly recommend going elsewhere for lunch. Top end prices for very sub par food. Ribs were small and very sweet, they were fine but left no where near full. Wife's sandwich also had a tiny piece of chicken on it, basically honey mustard bread. Such a disappointing follow up to a great dinner. Service was good at least.

Came here for dinner and we were craving a scenic rooftop dinner. The place is located, in what to me, looks like an office building, with their restaurant on the second floor. If you want to go to the roof top, head up the stairs one more level, where there's a midsized dining area and bar, and a small rooftop eating area. You can sit in the dining area as well, as the large doors let in a nice cool breeze while not obstructing your view. What was ordered: Ahi poke -- marinated fresh Hawaiian tuna, wasabi avocado aioli, scallion, toasted sesame seeds, asian slaw. served with fried wonton skins. I like how the crispy fried wonton skins, complimented the dish Calamari -- fried with peppers and served with creamy horseradish. It had a great crisp breading, and the peppers really added a nice touch... a little spice with each crunchy bite Fish tacos -- these tacos had cajun blackened mahi-mahi, avocado, rice, pineapple pico de gallo, cilantro lime aioli and flour tortillas. Really good! Service was good, food was good, and the overall experience was good. BATHROOM REVIEW: Located down one level from the rooftop, the bathroom was spacious and had several urinals with privacy dividers so you can do your thang. Everything was in working order, and clean. Sit or squat? Sit!

    Burger

The burger had a good flavor to it, but the tomato on it was clearly very mealy and should not have been used. Same for the tomatoes in the salad. Inedible. So, that tells me there are no real kitchen standards. There are a lot of cooks, but not many chefs around here. The flavor of the Caesar dressing was different, not something I would get again. The beer was good. Coleslaw had onion in it, not my fav, but it still had a good flavor to it. The bartender was friendly but you do not bring the check before offering dessert. It feels unwelcoming and is just not good service. I asked and they did have desserts. Overall, just an ok experience.

Take the view from this restaurant and it's just another bar food place. Hostess was rude but our waitress made up for it.

I set up on top of the building on the patio and had the blackened grouper with green beans, it was absolutely delicious.

Wish i had taken pics of the inviting, casual atmosphere inside and outside. Noted a very friendly setup for kids, and many families enjoying the outdoor games. Our server, Lily, could not have been better. Friendly, helpful, efficient, kind. We thought it was just us (kidding) but she was the same at every table she served, even though she was super busy! Kudos to Lily! One of the best! We had the kitchen split an Asian Crunch Salad as a starter. Fresh and crunchy! Hubby got the Burnt Ends Melt on Detroit Sourdough toast with the house made chips. He loved it and said he'd order it again! I had the Olive Burger and had them put it on their toasted sweet potato jalapeño bun. A Michigan staple, we do not have olive burgers in our state. If you've had an olive burger before, and liked it (as I do whenever we go north) you haven't tried ANYTHING yet! THIS BURGER WAS AMAZING! The burger itself high quality beef and perfectly grilled medium as I requested. Fresh leaf lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, sliced olives, and their delicious homemade olive aioli. Mine with waffle fries which were so generous, I had to give 3/4 of them to my husband (who gladly obliged)! Try the pickle bloody mary, if you're so inclined. Yum! Def will return! If you go, ask for Lily and tell her we sent you! ; )
