First time here, we had the Almond Delight Latte and House Fusion Brew, both with oat milk. We go out for coffee often. This is my favorite coffee place now. I don't usually drink lattes (my regular is black drip) but my almond delight latte really hit the spot! Absolutely delicious coffee! I got the vanilla oat delight, I might've gotten the name wrong but it was their take on a vanilla latte and it was LOVELY. I got 50% sweet and it was perfect, I recommend getting 50% or under if you're not a fan of super sweet coffee like me. The cafe is beautiful and I believe they have a discount if you go earlier in the morning. The service was fast and they have a self serve kiosk where you can customize your drinks! Mid at best - a matcha latte with "premium matcha" shouldn't look similar in color to Starbucks and taste like ground chalk. Not sure if that chalkiness is considered creamy to some. Really good coffee! The coffee is strong and delicious--I highly recommend trying it out! They did mess up my order, but it was fine since the drinks were still great. I was a bit disappointed they didn't have any pastries, but hopefully there will be some next time. I also wish they offered different drink sizes like small, medium, and large. the (co-)owner is so nice and silly :D easy to chat with and willing to explain the drinks. We were able to sample some drinks incl the Phoenix milk tea, black sesame latte, and hibiscus sunset tea. After sampling the phoenix Mt, we were sure we were going to get it. It has such a nice tea taste *0* the black sesame was (and all of their coffee based lattes(?)) viet coffee based so it was a good thing we sampled it, as it was too strong for us for an evening drink. We ended up going with the genmaicha latte. We were told that it was a very strong tea taste but we are tea fans so we went with it! It has a very nice but strong in your face-roasted rice flavor but it really does pair well with the milk! The genmaicha is made with a powder, similar to matcha. If you haven't had it before, it definitely could come off as too strong. Overall, we could super tell that they use such high quality ingredients, along with some unique housemade flavors. :D we'd def come back in the future! Five stars for Ryo Coffee. I stopped by on Thanksgiving and couldn't believe they were open until 9pm; already a win in my book. First off, I love this place and I frequent all of the time before/after class. The ambiance is cozy and friendly, and it's always kept nice and tidy! The drinks are fantastic, with more variety of coffee. I tried this new flavor latte and it's creamy and velvety but not too thick so it's easy to drink down! Violet Garden Latte (ube) with coconut milk is SO good! It was a recommendation of the owner to get coconut milk instead. I've had the black sesame foam too, which is good. My kids get either the mango or the strawberry breeze (75% sweet) and both are tasty. The owner is super nice and fun to talk to. The service time here is unreal. I'm sure the two people working are trying their best, but when the entire shop is filled with people waiting for drinks instead of drinking them then it is a problem. I arrived at the shop when there was no line, waiting for 25 minutes for my order as I watched the place fill up with confused customers. When I asked about the status of my drink after twenty minutes, the staff was master of fact. The drinks tasted fine, except that the specifications were all incorrect (ie sugar level and ice etc that customers are asked to complete at the kiosk order machine). Absolutely would not come back based on the service alone. read more
