Large shrimp, meaty crab legs with a tasty medium spice boil. Unlike other typical boil places, potatoes and corn cost extra. The shrimp were a bit overcooked, but big enough to overcome that. The fried shrimp were a nice size, but the corn meal breading tasted like plain corn meal with no flavor. Hushpuppies tasted along the same lines - all corn meal and no other flavor. I've tried several things here, but my favorite are the vegetable noodles. They just totally hit the spot every time, full of flavor and you can basically make three meals out of it. It is not overly seasoned, so if you're expecting a very salty or overly seasoned seafood, you may have to add salt. However I thought it was good. Fried well. They give you a good portion size, although I could have received more of the fish and less fries. We did wind up taking some home. The price was very affordable. The outside appearance and inside decor was nice. I think it really sets the tone for "seafood" and draws you in. They have a nice variety of selection to choose from. The menu items are typical of seafood places like fried foods, platters, by the pound and PO boys. The batter was thick but seasoned well. I think it's a matter of preference on that though. I ordered the fried oysters, shrimp and catfish...all fried foods for that order! Fries were seasoned well, but the seafood had a bit more batter than I prefer and it was over cooked. Chicken meal: I had dry lemon pepper chicken was very good, came out nice & hot (they cook to order), my container was so full they have to put a rubber band around the container to keep it closed. The meal comes with fries and I was told that I could substitute the fries which I did for onion rings and in return I never was told there would be a charge of $2 and found out when I looked at my receipt. Onion rings were absolutely delicious! Shrimp fried rice: very good and I didn't even have to search for shrimp (thank goodness). Facebook has reminded me constantly over the last month of their existence with some really tantalizing videos.bravo because here i am on a Thursday afternoon through traffic just to try their seafood. Lobster fried rice medium heat: There is something very comforting about being able to eat forkfuls of slightly spicy and "fluffy" fried rice with shrimp and crawfish, from a seafood place. The fish and shrimp was okay, yet it did come with an enormous amount of fries that never seemed to end. It made the amount of fish and shrimp we received seem tiny in comparison.
