What a birthday I had at this location on DeZavala. How can I best say this? I was recommended by a sister at our church that her place of employment is the place to go to hands down. Well, let me say our waitress Ana she looked out of it like she was on something. From messing up on giving the wrong sauces on our food to waiting on refills to our drinks. Which the nice lady name Sophia helped us out even tho she wasn't our waitress. She made things right for us. My question is this. DO YOU DRUG TEST YOUR MANAGEMENT or EMPLOYEE'S? Why you may ask? Is it a restaurant or a drug place? I walked my grandchild to the bathroom as his little and I saw a tall Hispanic male manager talking to a guy passing a bag of white residue in it stating " Na dog this some good sh**" turned and looked at me and I quickly turned like I didn't see anything. The manager was a tall one with tattoos, short sleeve with a big gold chain on him. Let me say If selling drugs is what this place is about then I will NOT recommend this place at all and will pass on my experience to others as well. Food and drinks are for the most part good. Drinks and beer are fabulous. Waitress' are great! I feel for them, I know it's hard to find good workers that pay decent wages. I didn't really like the way I saw one female "manager" interact with a young waitress. She seemed really aggressive and not supportive of her team. My experiences here were all equally bad. First time I went, there was a huge cockroach on the wall next to our table. Me and friends notified the manager and he didn't seem to care at all. Also, although I dined alone, there could have been a tad more attention paid to my table. Frankly, because I was alone, I felt like an inconvenience.... It was just a "vibe" thing; I wasn't feelin' it. I've always gone with boneless wings, and tonight I did the same - adding the "sleezeballs" appetizer. I would DEFINITELY recommend this appetizer! The wings are a decent size and not overcooked/fried. Not a HUGE fan of the sauce I had tonight (was trying something new, the tangasaurus sauce), and in general, I think their sauces are a little strange. During rush hours it depends on the server you get. Some servers are great at handling the rush, while others are not.
