Went here under protest due to many bad experiences with Mexican Restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised. Having worked in Mexico, I expect more than what most Mexican Restaurants provide. I had 4 steak tacos served with onions and cilantro. No cheese seen anywhere. My wife had chicken fajitas and she loved it. I highly recommend it. read more

We happened upon this new restaurant by chance. The vibe is from a certain region of Mexico and definitely NOT your average Americanized Mexican food. You have to take the time to look through the massive menu and they have a great majority of seafood (which I don't eat). In fact the appetizers were all seafood. We were unsure what to think after my husband had to send back his ice tea (it was not good) and the salsa was too hot for 3 of the 4 of us to eat but it became obvious it was simply because they were staying true to their cultural flavors. We loved our main courses. Filling and flavorful. We had the chicken and pork fajitas and chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce. The guacamole used for the fajitas was fantastic. They don't have it as a side I assume because of it being made in small batches but we could have eaten a tub of guacamole and tomatillo sauce. Definitely give it a try! read more

We went for breakfast the only people in the whole restaurant! They couldn't get it right at all service plastic plates when they had the actual food on china plates couldn't divvy it up themselves didn't get we are the only people in the whole restaurant really we they figure that out that out! They didn't have what they had on the menu so we went for the hashbrowns extra crispy they came out greasyAnd much why asked for a English muffin with four packs of butter when it was already grilled on a greasy grill and not toasted and toaster! They brought a whole giant jelly jar instead of a little tiny jellies that you know that are legit and sanitized! If you want to make it in Summit County you got a try a lot harder than this! Terrible experience. I ordered a tortilla soup, horchata, and flan. The horchata was made with cows milk and didn't have cinnamon in it. The tortilla soup was put together in the wrong order so the tortillas were at the bottom and soggy. My soup didn't have pico like it should've. I asked the server and she said she didn't know what pico de gallo was. I was brought a plate with a large portion of diced onions. I asked for it to be taken away because they were not going to be used and were making the table smell bad. I was brought flan and it tasted like sea food. I asked for it to be taken off the bill and after the server talked with the manager, she came back to the table and asked if I wanted something else as she would not be able to take it off the bill. They eventually took it off the bill. This made me so mad, I almost walked out on the tab. I work in service industry and if I ever told a guest I couldn't take something off the bill I would have been fired. It was obvious that the server was only taking instructions from the manager who never greeted the table. The manager did give me a dirty look however. I have experienced symptoms of food poisoning from the meal and will be reaching out to the health department to stop by for an inspection. We had dinner on June 25 2020 at this somewhat upscale Mexican restaurant. Nice ambience but it's the food that deserves your attention. The menu is very creative and really enjoyed the shrimp chile rellenos and combination enchilada and tamales. The rice and beans were homemade and flavorful as well. Definitely work a try. read more

Great Margaritas, excellent salsa which also included a white queso (have you ever seen orange milk?). The foos was very tasty. Flautas, burrito and street tacos. Music a bit too loud. Atmosphere was comfortable and nice. There was a lot of seafood right here by the Continental Divide--far from any sea. Big selection of hot sauces (7) on the table. 3-4 were excellent! read more

Naw. Just skip it. Service is awful, even on a weeknight. Our meals were brought out one at a time, about 10 to 15 minutes apart, no lie. Two of us were done eating by the time the last guy got his meal. Waitress with braces needs customer service training, if she had just admitted she screwed up the order she didn't write down, we would be more understanding. Go to any other Mexican restaurant instead. Food isn't hot and marginally good. We won't be returning. read more

Killer food, flavorful and authentic. Salsa is dang good. Portion size is spot on and flavors speak for themselves. Priced reasonably and given they do specials throughout the week, there's something for everybody. 2 for 1 margaritas is hard to beat and when the drink tastes like a margarita and not tequila and sweet and sour, you know it was done correctly.
