This place is absolutely amazing! We started of with the Caldo Luchador soup. This soup was the absolute best soup I have had in the last decade. For lunch I had the Sonoran burrito and ordered a side of Mole. When I took my first bite It was like I was transported to Mexico City and I was eating at one of the cities culinary masterpieces. The Mole is imported directly from Mexico and is by far the best I have ever had. The service was spectacular. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone with a love of real Mexican food. I will certainly be back any time I come to visit my family.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food--not Tex-Mex--this is the place. As San Diegans now living in Houston, we've been craving the flavors we grew up with, and this hit the spot. You can truly taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients in every dish. The pork in chile verde was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, and the green salsa on the chilaquiles was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the menudo, and it did not disappoint it was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. One thing that really stood out was the owner, who stopped by several times to check on us, make sure we were enjoying every dish, and see if we needed anything. That level of hospitality made the experience even more memorable. The restaurant is clean, casual, and very family-friendly, making it a great spot for any occasion. We'll definitely be back, and we've already recommended it to our family and friends.

I ordered the grilled peach salad that is similar to their grilled pineapple salad. It was delicious and an appropriate side salad size. Next I had Steak with Roasted Pineapple Mole which is similar to their Summer Steak. This one had an added pineapple mole underneath and a delicious quinoa with nopales side. For dessert I chose Pan De Elote. Yum! I was able to retry the mini chalupa split which was also good. My daughter had Cactus Prickley pear Shrimp ceviche and said it was delicious as well. I'll be back to try the other dishes this month. Definitely worth the trip. Almost forgot I tried the Smoke pineapple tangerine margarita. It was good and spicy.

This was the most DISGUSTING and UNACCEPTABLE thing we have ever dealt with while eating out. To start, I wanted to give this place another chance after giving it a couple years break. About two years ago, there were small roaches on the walls. We did not come back for a few years after that. Today was the first time giving it another chance and of course were not only disappointed but felt the need to let others know how disgusting this place operates. We live nearby and of all the nearby Mexican food establishments, this one is known to have a better menu, BUT AT WHAT COST? I started by ordering a queso for our chips and I had a Paloma. The drink was good and queso was also. Unfortunately, this place will forever loose our business. Go at your own risk, knowing the establishment has a history of small roaches and NASTY kitchen handlers. This is yet another dump in the area. I wish there were good options in this area. This was absolute atrocious.

Oh boy... I have to say it. This restaurant has not only some of the worst Mexican food I have ever…read morehad in or around the Houston area... the portions they provided were shocking. More specifically for my dish. When you sit down at a mexican restaurant and noticed that the salsa is awful, you know the food following will not be much better. The red salsa was almost sweet (not spicy at all) and the green salsa was more edible but no heat and cold. My dad asked for a spicier salsa and it was soooo salty. It also quite literally did not have any spice. I ordered the chicken breast alcapulco. When I say that I had a 4 pieces of rubbery small cubes of chicken breast on my plate, I quite literally mean that I had 4 pieces of rubbery cubed chicken breasts altogether on my plate. They styled it in a shishkabob fashion on my plate. (Cube chicken, slice of raw tomatoes, cold slice of avocado, zucchini and then repeat small chicken cube in that format). The sauce it was smothered in tasted like a canned enchilada sauce that was made by someone of European descen.. it was definitely not mexican. Chunks of zucchini threw me off so much and it was pretty hard. Didn't taste fully cooked. I just dont know how this place is still running. I also did have to remember that we were in the middle of cypress, tx and they may be accommodating to the usual crowd that comes in. My plate was also over $20 which was also hard to swallow. Both metaphorically and literally. The only reason why I gave this place a 2 stars is because of their tortillas and the cool vibe the restaurant does have. Our waitress was awesome too.
