The food was good and the prices were moderate. Service was done by multiple wait staff. Almost everyone was extremely friendly professional and seem to care. We were impressed by the manager who came to ask us about our meal and experience. The restaurant was clean and very well kept and had a somewhat modern ambiance with only minimal Tex-Mex theming, rather than over the top decorations. The tortilla chips we're outstanding. My first time here, you can tell it's a popular place. The service left a lot to be desired. I think they just got done with a rush when we got there. The bartender was our waiter and you could tell he was stressed. It took him awhile to come and take our order multiple times. He was really nice though. The mimosa flight was such a great deal... only $13 for 3 full mimosas, $5 for one by itself. The queso was ehh... kind of grainy and maybe a little burnt. I ordered the Chicken Biscuit with hashbrowns. The hasbrowns were dry and not seasoned. It was like no butter or grease was used either. Just raw potatoes on a grill. The chicken biscuit was decent. But it was supposed to come with bacon jam and it was left off. I had to ask and wait for them to bring it out. Then the biscuit was supposed to be a Cheddar biscuit, but it was just a plain biscuit. The restaurant itself was super clean. When I went to the restroom. One employee was cleaning the sinks and doing like a deep clean, it was good to see that they were cleaning so well. I'd give it a second try and try their Mexican food over brunch next time.

Great margaritas. Mine was strawberry and my wife had Ana regular "on the rocks" margarita. Flawless service by our waiter, Frankie! Ambiance was great too. My wife and I shared the Molcajete and it was incredible and our friend had the Tacos Gobernador and loved it. I can't say enough about how good our dinner experience has been!

This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. The drinks were strong but clean and crisp tasting. I had the street tacos and my husband had the fish tacos. Both were incredibly fresh and flavorful. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality Mexican food. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. Little details still matter here like boxing the leftovers for you.

We came in for Sunday brunch and luckily we were seated right away. We ordered kids French toast, cheese, quesadillas, Carne Asada , and tacos. Everything was delicious and came out in a timely manner . Overall it was a great experience and we will be back.

My Bigs took me here for my birthday lunch and it was pretty good. We ordered queso to start. It was good. Could be better but it was good. I ordered a sparkling guava drink & my DIL ordered a drink with blackberries. They were both delicious. We also ordered a couple of mix fajitas for one, chicken enchiladas and tacos al carbon mixed. The winner was definitely the fajitas, the beef over the chicken but will order mix again. The chicken was full of flavor & not dry, the beef was cooked perfectly, a medium and sooooo tender. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. We are already planning a return visit.

I went to lunch today at Galiana's. The food the drinks the service were amazing! The restaurant is clean and the staff are so friendly. The bloody Mary's are so good. I have been here for the brunch menu and it was also really good give the carnitas a try.

I'very been coming to Galiana's for several years. in the last year or so I've noticed the quality deterioratin. I placed an order for fajitas today and my chicken and meat dont look cooked all the way. definitely disappointed.

I'm not sure why this restaurant got 4+ stars. Maybe it's mostly for dinner. We went here for brunch today and will not go again for brunch. The hostess was very "bitchy" as my husband put it. No smile and seated us with an attitude. First tried to seat us by the door when 80% of the restaurant was empty. When we insisted on sitting somewhere else, we were seated with an attitude. The server was nice and took our orders promptly. I ordered a decaf coffee and quite honestly it was the worst coffee I have ever had. We then ordered chicken and waffles, chicken biscuit, and the Mexican omelette. Everything came out looking beautiful, but the taste was bland. There were no salsa sauce or ketchup with anything. Food was really dry. Once the food was dropped off, our waiter did not return for good 15 to 20 minutes. We had to call him for a box for left over breakfast potatoes and our check. The ambiance was ok and we will probably try it for dinner. Maybe food is better then.

"My Homework Turned Into Date Night (with Myself)" 02-14-26…read more I came here on Valentine's Day to do a writing assignment my professor gave us, and I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food all the same. When I walked in, the hostess offered to seat me in the private party area. I declined and told her, "I'm here for a writing assignment," and asked if I could sit somewhere with a clear view of the bar. She didn't hesitate. She told me to follow her and led me to a booth with a clean, perfect shot of the bar, front row without having to climb onto a stool. She handed me a menu and told me to enjoy my evening. The bar itself was shaped like an oblong oval ring with gold seats lined up like little lifeboats, almost like a ship's bridge. Above it, about ten flat screens hovered in an oval formation, suspended in the air. Upside-down margarita glasses and champagne flutes hung overhead like delicate chandeliers in an expensive mansion. The bar area was filled with couples and solo diners enjoying the screens, sipping margaritas and champagne, and crunching on complimentary chips and salsa. Customer service was fantastic. My server, Ale, was highly energetic, lively, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I felt very well taken care of during this dining experience, which was supposed to just be a writing assignment, but it turned into a rewarding little night out. The complimentary chips and salsa were also pretty good. The atmosphere was vibrating at a high-energy level. There was loud laughter and conversation all around, the sound of dishes clanging in the kitchen, servers moving back and forth, and bussers scanning the room for abandoned tables to clean. For my appetizer, I ordered the shrimp crab cake along with a Cucumber Melon Margarita on the rocks. Both were absolutely delicious. The crab cake was mouthwatering and delectable, and that margarita was refreshingly fruity and strong, so good I ordered a second one. For my entrée, I ordered the beef fajita plate for one with cilantro rice, charro beans, and corn tortillas. I also added a side of the La Viva Shrimp (bacon-wrapped). I don't eat pork often, so I peeled the bacon off, and even without it, the shrimp was exceptionally tantalizing, full of bold seafood flavor. My entire plate was the bee's knees. I can't even explain how good the food was. Food Ratings Shrimp Crab Cake: 5/5 La Viva Shrimp: 5/5 Beef Fajitas: 5/5 Cilantro Rice: 5/5 Charro Beans: 5/5 Overall, La Viva Cantina is an upbeat, lively spot serving delicious comida with great customer service and an inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend it for date night, or even a solo night at the bar. You won't be disappointed.

It gets the job done, it tastes good, but it is not super authentic or unforgettable. What really stood out was the service. It was truly extraordinary. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel welcoming. That level of service is honestly the main reason I would come back. Price wise, it felt a little high for what you get. I cannot say it was much better than something like Chipotle, even though it was about double the price. That said, the environment makes a difference. The restaurant has a fun, lively vibe, and it looks like they have great drinks and margaritas, even though I did not try any this time. Overall, I would recommend coming here for the atmosphere and excellent service. The food is solid and dependable, just not top tier Mexican cuisine.
