Good pizza & service is always good. Place is very clean. So far I've loved the combo and pepperoni pizza.

This is a good little local place for a decent pizza. It is set in the same small plaza as Starbucks and a few other food places. The parking is easy as long as it is not during the morning coffee rush. While the storefront is small, you actually can eat there, however please note there is limited space. They offer all different options including choices for crust and toppings. They have gluten-free pizzas, build your own and even half n half pizzas. Also, bone-in wings. On this visit we ordered a pretty standard pepperoni and cheese, add mushrooms. The crust was good, a little chewy and definitely fresh. I personally prefer more mushrooms on my ca pie, but it definitely hit my craving for a good solid pizza. Next time I am getting a fully loaded veggie version, called "The Garden Supreme", which is my favorite of all time! I hate to admit it, but I'm gonna say I'm one and done! I went in there, expecting a really good pizza because they had a high Yelp average. I think I was there a little bit after seven and I was kind of shocked because I was the only one there from when I ordered the pizza and waited for it to be made and then picked it up and took off with It. Not even one other person came in I think it was a Tuesday evening. When I got home, I looked at the pizza and although it tasted OK, it was more of the thin crust type, which I don't really like, I didn't really ask questions. I guess I was kind of hoping I'd be more of an Italian thicker crust type. I ordered their typical combination meat and vegetables. Got the large size. It was kind of expensive for the size. I think it was 12 inches or something. It didn't taste bad or anything, but I was thinking to myself. I've gotten those frozen Giorno pizzas and cooked them in the oven at home and they were actually a better pizza than this one. And then I thought this is crazy. Why did they open a pizza place two doors down from the Papa Murphy's take and bake? The lady at the register was friendly and polite, what sadly the crust was like those factory frozen types. I think she just took something out of the freezer and cooked it. That's why I'm not gonna go back there because I didn't hear any sound of any pizza being made like the rollers and things like that. It was really quiet while I sat there and waited for the pizza. I didn't really look to see if she was actually making it some places you could look over the glass and watch them actually make it like these Italian places I've been to. So since there are so many other options for pizza, I guess this is probably a one time and done for me. read more

I'm willing to give all stars but because when me n my bf first came in the young lady wasn't so welcoming. New pizza place in the neighborhood! We stopped by around 8:30/9 o clock on a Monday. Called in our order to pick up on our way home. They were doing a deal for two large pizzas (I think $32). Clean dining area and bathroom. Pizza was great!!! I'm vegan I got a veggie no cheese. Delish!! I did not ask if the dough had dairy or egg so I IDK. We both liked our pizza I thought mine was a little spicy. Not sure if it was the sauce or garlic. Would try again! Less than a mile from home and open late! Win win! read more

Finally a great local pizza spot that isn't a boring & overpriced chain restaurant. Sac City Pizza in Land Park is a true gem! I had their large Sac City Combo, and it was absolutely fantastic. They have lots of great selections at a reasonable price. Beyond the pizza itself, the service was friendly and efficient. The staff was welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience even better. They also have two large flatscreens and serve beer, so why not stay and catch a game? If you're looking for a delicious pizza in Land Park, go-around Round Table, pass on Papa M, and miss Mountain Mikes because Sac City Pizza is a must-try! Ordered online and husband went to pick it up a little after the ready pick up time. It wasn't ready and he had to wait another 20 minutes for it. We ordered a cheese pizza for our kids and it was super spicy. Not sure why anyone would add spice to a plain traditional cheese pizza. Kids couldn't eat it. We also ordered a half pepperoni lovers and half sac garden. There were barely any veggies on the garden and it was also strangely spicy. We called an hour ahead and requested our pizzas to be done at a certain time and sure enough, they were done promptly and still hot! I was ordering a drink a few doors down at the Starbucks when a Sac City Pizza employee/the owner (?) came into the store and threatened to tow my car the next time I park in the lot. . . I was parked directly in front of the Starbucks. Turns out he had towed a young girl's car who had been in a yoga class next door. I walked outside, and she was crying and asking him why he had not given her a warning or tried talking to her first. He continued to scold her and was speaking very rudely and aggressively towards the young, crying girl. I understand that parking in this neighborhood/that lot is tight, but especially during the holiday season, I would like to support businesses that handle communication and conflict (especially with possible future customers?) in a mature and kind manner. This place has disgusting pizza. I ordered a pizza at 5:40 via online and it stated that it would be ready at 6:00 for pick up. We get to the establishment and the young lady didn't have a clue what I was talking about. Claims she never got the order and I had to show her my text with the order number showing that I paid. She said that it would take 5 minutes for the pizza??? Not sure about you pizza lovers, BUT a pizza in my oven takes about 14/16 minutes. We get the pizza about 15 minutes later and when I opened the box I was shocked at how skimpy the portions were for the high price that I paid for the pizza. The pizza was warm but I had to warm it up once I got home. The Italian Sausage was nasty and didn't taste anything like what Italian sausage would taste. It's unfortunate that I have to post this because I will never visit this establishment again NOR would I recommend this establishment to anyone. I was in town for my birthday and this did not sit well with me taking an extra large pizza home to the family that had no flavor and a mystery Italian sausage topping. I really wanted to like this place. It's located in my neighborhood and the owner/operator seems like a great guy. Unfortunately, this is one of those standard chain type pizzas - low quality cheese, cheap soft yoga mat type crust. Just a bad pizza and way over priced for a such a low quality pizza. I'm fully expecting the post-poor pizza hangover. I HATE throwing food away but 2/3 of this pizza is going into the dumpster. I will never understand why there is so much bad pizza in California. I was excited for a new pizza spot in the neighborhood because the previous pizza place at this location had such low quality pizza. so I ordered a couple pizzas from them. I was mortified to see that this is the exact low quality pizza that used to be there. They just rebranded. I feel scammed. This is definitely disappointing pizza given the fake pizza dough they use. Pizzas come out thin and soggy. I'm pretty sure they buy the dough pre molded, so all they have to do is add the toppings and throw it in the oven. read more
