I live near Giant Pizza and can't believe it's my first time trying it. It's been on my list to try though and I was craving pizza so it was a great time to finally try it. Better late than never. After ordering shaved ice at Ululani's shaved ice, I wanted real food so called in an order to Giant Pizza. The gentleman who answered the call (I assume the owner) took my order and told me about the current deal they have where you can get a large 1 topping pizza for $14 after taxes. He told me my order would be ready in 10 minutes. That's impressive considering most places make you wait 20-30 min at least. I did get here at just about 10 minutes after putting in the order and only had to wait a few minutes for them to box it up. This location is right off of Broadway so I just parked right in front. Parking can be tight, and there is probably more parking in the back. If you park on the street, just check your mirrors before opening your door. Inside the shop, it's cozy. They have 2 tables you can dine in, but taking it to go is the best bet. The shop owner and his family were here and they were having dinner. So cute and homey. I got my large pepperoni pizza and they gave me a slice of Oreo cake to try on the house. The pizza is your average pizza, but the price is worth it. It reminds me of my childhood and the pizza you get at pizza parties growing up. This large pizza will feed me for days. The Oreo cake made by the wife/owner is great. She makes the dessert in house so it's fresh and it's delicious. The flavors taste real and not processed. They also have carrot cake and fruit pastries to try. I highly recommend. Overall, great price, service, and it's a mom and pop joint. I'll order pizza from here more often. Best part is I live right down the street so it'll be a quick drive to get here. read more

My girl and I didn't feel like cooking one night, and since it was pretty late so we decided to grab pizza. Instead of going with a chain spot, she suggested trying a local place, Giant Pizza and I'm glad we did. We ordered a simple large pepperoni pizza for pickup, and it was ready in about 10-15 minutes, which was great. It wasn't busy at all, probably because they were closing in about 20 minutes. When I walked in, the guy at the counter already knew who I was so I'm guessing I was the last order of the night, which was actually pretty funny. He showed me the pizza before boxing it up and asked if I wanted peppers, Parmesan, and plates. He also greeted me warmly and asked how my night was going, small things like that go a long way. When I got home, the first thing I noticed was the portion of pepperoni, they were not skimpy at all. They gave a solid amount for a large pizza. The cheese and pepperoni ratio was on point, and the flavor was really good overall. I would definitely come back again. Next time, I might add sausage or try a combo pizza, but either way, this spot delivered a solid late-night pizza experience. read more

Real old school pizza with authentic ingredients that taste fresh! Not super greasy or processed. They have the best cheese bread hands down! Super creamy and garlicky, not dry at all. This is an unassuming little shop, easily overpowered by the Carls Jr. next door. The decor is functional, geared almost completely for take-out. I ordered a medium pizza, 5-topping. I think that the shop is family-owned. Very nice folks. The pie was quite perfect: The fresh tomatoes looked like they were just diced; placement of ingredients was deliberate and generous. Pizza gets a little soggy because alot of their specials they sprinkle fresh cut tomatoes etc, but it's still very tasty. The people are nice and the pizzas come out pretty fast. We had a friend recommend this small pizza place in our neighborhood. They have a new online ordering system which worked pretty well. We ordered the muncheez 10 pc, cheesey bread and one of their specialty pizzas-garlic chicken. I requested the mushrooms and fresh tomatoes on half. When everything came (decent timing for order and delivery about 45 min) the pizza did have mushrooms on half but the tomatoes were in huge slices across the whole pizza. That was disappointing for me (how do you only follow half of the directions?). The cheese bread had several pieces with no cheese, so basically just crust. The muncheez were yummy and I would order those again in a heartbeat. They are breaded potato cake stuffed with jalapeño and cheese. We may give them another shot, but overall not a wow factor meal. read more
