I love grabbing just a slice or two here and it's so convenient. Sometimes you just want "a slice or two" grab and go! Perfect spot to do that and only $2.99 a slice. Amazing deal and big slice.

Half Gyro, half New York Pesto Chicken

I was craving pizza and decided to try something new and decided upon this pizza place. They have a pretty big and extensive menu with some interesting signature pizzas. Since it was my first time trying it, I got a half gyro, half chicken pesto pizza. The pizza looked really good immediately after opening the box. They did not skimp on any of the toppings and it was hot and fresh. The pizza tasted great but it was greasier than I imagined. Overall I'd come back again because the pizza was good, the service was good, and the price was pretty fair for what you get.

Eh, not what I'm looking for when it comes to New York style pizza, but not a bad spot if you live in the neighborhood and need to feed a crowd. No skimping on toppings on the pepperoni & mushroom pizza that I ordered (especially the pepperoni...it was loaded!)! Decently tasty red sauce, but flavorless and rubbery cheese. Was hoping for a really thin and slightly crispy crust, but the crust here is more of the pillowy type. Delicious cheesy garlic bread! A garlic cream, alfredo-like sauce, is used. Okay-ish service. Lady at the front counter didn't bother with a greeting, but the gentleman who walked up from the kitchen and handed me my order was all smiles.

update: we decided to try a few other items. Their calzone and gyro and veggies pie. yum. Calzone: this item is huge. it looked like a folded small pizza. we ordered one with red sauce, pepperoni, spinach, and cheese. this was very good. My son only ate half this monster calzone and he was satisfied. Large veggie and gyro pie (half/half): fresh veggies, pie was not soggy, perfect ratio of veggies/cheese/and sauce...this was a tasty veggie pie. We had the creamy garlic sauce instead of the red sauce and it made this pie great. In fact, i would like to order all their pies with this creamy garlic sauce instead of their red sauce! The gyro half was also delicious. the mozzarella cheese, creamy garlic sauce, red onions, and tomatoes had the perfect balance. The only caveat: the gyro meat was sparse and didn't have any flavor. Perhaps substituting their gyro meat with chicken or mushrooms would've been a tastier option. Again, i would still prefer a pie from Romas or Luigi's. but not bad for a local pie place.

Didn't get tomatoes or fresh garlic on my pizza, flavor was seriously lacking

Ordered a California chicken artichoke pizza on Valentine's Day. The pizza was missing half of the toppings which is disappointing, the pizza could have been a lot better, you think you'd prioritize accuracy for a night like valentines. No fresh garlic or tomatoes which made for a lack luster pizza, False advertising too. While I was sitting in the car I noticed them rubbing their faces and one guy even behind his ear during downtime in between customers and also while talking on the phone, pretty gross considering they also work the pizza dough and cash register barehanded. (Watch from your car, you'll see it too.) Most of the people who work there are high school aged with careless attitudes. The interior is very basic and modeled after a basic chain pizza restaurant, There's a few places to sit, nothing to write home about. I've been patronizing this location recently, now I'm reconsidering. Double check your pizzas before leaving to verify that it has everything described because they will skimp on toppings.

Gave them another shot after a few months, and they delivered -- literally and flavor-wise. The garlic cheese bread? Buttery, cheesy, and perfectly pull-apart. The Super Hawaiian? Sweet and savory, -- chef's kiss!

The pizza and wings were great! I loved that the pizza crust is thin & I got a great deal when I ordered online (family deal). I will say, I wasn't a fan of having to wait to get my food even after I ordered ahead 2 hours prior & had a set pickup time. It seemed like that was common there as other people were told to wait too. However, the food was fresh and still very yummy! I would definitely give New York Pizza another shot

Been here a few times now and love it! Great place to come for a slice of pizza on your lunch break! A sweet couple runs the place and makes sure your food comes quickly. There is only a small bench inside, so you do need to eat somewhere else.

This place just opened. I was at Starbucks awhile back and thought I would inquire about this place. I saw someone spinning pizza dough with two hands with skill and I thought I would give this place a try in the future. There are other locations. Ambiance It is a very small place in a nice strip mall. Looks like ur typical Pizza Guys with soft drinks out front but smaller space. Customer Service It was Friday night so the place was hopping. Got two topping pizza for $14.99 called on the phone and was told ready in 30 minutes. I noticed the total was about $2 more I asked about that. I was informed 40 cent fee for credit card. I don't believe I saw any sign stating a fee like u see at a donut business. I don't mind paying this as long as I know ahead of time. Pizza When I got there pizza was ready. Pizzas were stacked high on top of each other. The pizza was slightly warm so it must have come out fast. This is a high volume pizza factory. Pizza itself was very good, generous portions of pepperoni and mushrooms. The crust could be better. Bang for buck is hard to beat. Better than Pizza Guys. Round Table is my go to for a chain but only go there when they have promotions. So will come here when they don't. Will come a little earlier when I order by phone to get warm pizza.

I wasn't sure about this place when i first saw it opening! My son (8yr) has been patiently waiting to try this and we finally did. It's located between the Starbucks and wingstop in the florin lake crest shopping center. It's an order and take or you can call ahead but my husband ordered and waited outside while the pizza was prepared! It was done in 15mins and since it's not far from my house it came home nice hot and fresh. The crust was the best part for me. Cooked perfect with the right amount of soft and crunch! The crust is everything for me and they passed the test. The pizza wasn't greasy and not overpowered by cheese or sauce. I'll be visiting again really soon

Loads and loads of cheeses, cold cuts, domestic and imported. You need it, you can probably find it here. Their sandwiches are amazing. My favorite sandwich is the Corti special. It's huge, and it's fun. You pick the bread, you pick the veggies, you pick the condiments, they pick the meat. I can never finish a whole sandwich, I can only get through half at a time .. My favorite deli in San Francisco before they closed, was "Panelli Brothers, and they sold what was called, a "Panelli whatever.". Same concept. The special takes me right back to that. I will continue to shop here. Thank you.

Were these chips hand-carved by artisans somewhere? Blessed by monks in the moonlight? I'm genuinely curious. I ordered the club, and I swear there was maybe one slice of turkey and a single, lonely piece of lettuce in the entire thing. The bun, however, was enormous, so the overall experience was like eating a fluffy bread pillow with a whisper of sandwich somewhere in the middle. Honestly, the sandwich felt a bit like a mime, the idea of a sandwich was there, but the substance was invisible. I even wondered if maybe the fillings weren't hungry themselves. By the end I felt less like I had eaten lunch and more like I had participated in a sandwich-themed illusion. Sadly, it looks like I'm Togo's-bound from here on out. I always root for unique local spots, but this felt more like a "Shamwich" than a sandwich. Tough times when the hungry leave hungry. Poor sand-wich-ship indeed.

One of the employees, whose name appeared to be Melanie, had a rude and dismissive attitude throughout the interaction. When I asked for my sandwich to be made Mike's Way, I was met with visible frustration and made to feel like I was asking for something unreasonable. What concerned me most was the food handling. While preparing my sandwich, the employee was repeatedly using a rag to wipe down counters and equipment and then continuing to handle food. Observing this made me uncomfortable with the sanitation practices being followed during preparation. I ordered a regular #9 with bacon and paid an additional $3.50 for extra meat. The extra meat portion appeared to consist of only a few thin slices of pepperoni, which did not justify the additional charge. The bacon portion was also extremely limited and consisted mostly of small crumb-like pieces rather than actual strips. The toppings were just as disappointing. I asked for banana peppers and received only two small pieces. I also requested the sandwich Mike's Way, but there was barely any oil and vinegar added. Overall, the sandwich appeared to be prepared with the minimum amount of ingredients possible despite the additional charges. Because of the food handling practices I observed during preparation, I did not feel comfortable eating the sandwich and ultimately chose not to eat it. Between the poor customer service, concerning sanitation practices, skimpy portions, and extra charges that did not match what was provided, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I hope management reviews the transaction and addresses both the customer service and food preparation standards at this location.

Headquartered in Davis, CA dating back to 1926, they have been more of an upscale supermarket experience by offering top-notch customer service while being a forefront to the community. This includes empowering future generations, fortifying the neighborhoods, cultivating environmental change, and inspiring philanthropy. The location I am focusing on is in the Greenhaven-Pocket area. Located in a fairly sizable outdoor strip mall, this Nugget is located directly on Florin Rd and tucked in between Greenhaven Dr and the CA I-5 highway. As for this location, they have been in operation since around 2005 and been a staple for folks that reside in this area. Since I used to work only a 1/2 mile from this store (for about 3 years), I've frequented it on my lunch break as well as before and after work. The parking situation is shared with several other smaller brick-and-mortar businesses including a Starbucks, Subway, L&L Hawaiian BBQ, and much more. The storefront entrance is inviting and welcoming as the entire layout is accommodating while being easy to navigate for customers. I will say that the selection at Nugget is quite possibly the best I have seen in any local grocery store. Here you will find a vast array of produce (regular/organic fruits and veggies), meat/poultry, dairy, frozen foods, and a very impressive variety of beer and wine. However, their deli section which includes all varieties of meats, cheeses, and freshly baked breads is a real winner in my book. The hot and cold foods to go showcase freshly made soups, salads, olives, cold cuts, and meals that you can heat up on your stove or on your BBQ grill. I also wanted to emphasize that the sandwiches here are some of the best I have tried, better than Raley's/Bel Air and much better than what you'd order at a Safeway or Save Mart (all staple supermarkets in Northern California). In addition to the sandwiches, they also offer coffee/tea, fresh juices, açai and Pitaya bowls, smoothies, and much more. I will say that since Nuggets focuses on quality control, much of their food items are significantly higher than the competition. However, just about everything I've purchased here (whether it is pasta, a bottle of wine, or a loaf of bread) has been above average. All in all, the Florin-Greenhaven "Nugget Markets" earn a 4 out of 5 stars from me. Some of the key staple items are quite expensive and don't correlate with my budget. However, the customer service here is top notch while the cleanliness of the store is very well kept. I also wanted to add that the checkout lanes were run very efficiently while making sure every customer is well taken care of. And considering they are open for business 7 days a week from 6am-9pm, you can be assured that they will have what you're looking for.
