slices we tried were first off huge! Starring at the through the window I was greeted promptly and they explained there menu and time frame for a custom order. We opted for 2 premade slices and were not disappointed both had great flavor and killer crust. The first was just good old fashion cheese but the red sauce has a great mix of garlic and herbs and the cheese had a good pull and flavor . The 2nd slice was a garlic butter vodka type sauce with 3 cheeses but not your average it's a mix of ricotta, Parmesan, and there bomb mozzarella! This one was called "the dude" if your eating on site it's a food truck setup with picnic tables out for you to sit and eat and plenty of of parking around the restaurant. I'm a fairly critical reviewer, but Sacred Slice has earned a 5 star rating from me. Why? Their pizzas are truly phenomenal. The New York style Vodkaroni and Penaroni are our faves. Phoning in an order to be ready at a certain time is a breeze. You don't get put on hold, a text zips over which gives options to make payment on your phone, and you receive timely text updates. We've traveled far and wide to try the "best" pizzas, and this place gets our blue ribbon. read more

Finally, some decent pizza out here! Reminds me of Long Bridge Pizza and Goat Hill pizza in San Francisco. Similar crust. Every other pizza place has crust that is soggy and too doughy. Modesto there's a new best pizza in town! Absolutely amazing pizza, both by the slice and Detroit deep pan pizza. Phenomenal, outstanding, amazing work. The crusts are works of art, the thin being so perfectly crispy while keeping their chew, to the Detroit pan with an almost focaccia slab under the amazing toppings. Bravo! read more

Tried this place a few weeks ago, it was so good I came back the following week and ordered 3 more pizzas. They have pizza by the slice options as well which can't be beat. The toppings are fresh, the owner puts a lot of love into his pies. He seems passionate and it just made me want to support his business even more. This was some of the best pizza we've had in a while! We saw they have slices on a first come, first served basis, so we made sure to go early and we were not disappointed!! My 2.5 year old toddler loved their monthly special, the pesto pizza, and we all know how toddlers can be so picky! We also got the Detroit style PRH and the Pepperoni. Suppppper good!! My toddler was keeping busy with their giant Connect 4 and Cornhole after he was done eating, so we were all happy! They've gained repeat customers in us for sure! read more

Again just like young lasted stated I came all the way from Tracy twice first time ok I got there a hour after they were open and they didn't have slices came back couple days later 5 minutes after they opened and had no slices and it wasn't a line if you broadcasting slices why there are never slices then try to force you to get a whole pizza terrible read more

Came here over the weekend with high expectations and they exceeded those expectations. I ordered two Detroit style pizzas and had to try one of their slices. That's right they sell pizza by the slice. So I had to try that cheese. It was really good. You can tell they use quality ingredients like the local high quality Stanislaus tomatoes. I think they have 4-6 different pizzas to choose for slice options. All their combos sounded really good, but it being my first time I had to start with the cheese. Now the Detroit style pizzas had me thinking this place is about to blow up. No joke one of the best things I have eaten in the area. Definitely the best pizza and I'm not normally a huge Detroit style pizza person. I prefer NY and Neopolitan... I also haven't had Detroit style this good. Made me question if I even really know my damn self! Big thanks to the brains behind the operation for bringing legit food to the area! We should have better pizza based off the fact some of the best tomatoes in the world are ground right here. I think they nailed it with the name of the place because that pizza is sacred! The workers don't like to make pizza for customers when they still have an hour before closing and a line of customers all wanting the same thing. Im not sure if the workers were having a bad day but they were definitely understaffed and seem unprepared, super disappointed since i've only seen good things. read more

Had the vodka pizza tonight and it was fantastic. The crust is the best food truck pizza we've had and the thinness is Devine. Just the right amount of cheese. Could have used more pepperoni and basil leaves. The pizza is 5 stars, the time it takes to get a pizza (1 hour) was 2 s tars. We will visit again but when they first open. read more

I wasn't going to leave a review which is similar to a lot of the reviews here but they posted on their IG story with a meme trying to be funny or talk about customers who have left negative reviews about their business LITERALLY RANTING ON IG ABOUT THEIR PERSONAL EXPERIENCES WITH THEM. I've been here lots of times. Pizza is good don't get me wrong but service.. they answer you rudely when asking what type of slices and when they will be making more. like I'm bothering them that I want to spend my money there. It's not the owner guy but his wife and whatever other female they have working. You can't order a slice over the phone because it's pretty much first come first serve so I stopped calling and would show up and they'd never have any slices ready and say they are done making them. If not it's always a 30 min wait. Like why can't you guys be like we have one slice of this and two of this and inform the customer ahead of time so I don't waist my time. I gave up on going. I really supported this business when they first opened like 2 days a week and I recommend them to A LOT of people but the immaturity of this company has been the biggest issue.
