Looking at the friendly receptionist effortlessly multitasking and helping out customers was amazing. The technician was super professional and great listening to him explaining the process, as well as super happy about the result (People have to understand a chipped windshield will never be perfect again) and he did as perfect as a job as anyone could. Woke up the other day to the old Long Beach Good Morning a la a broken back car window and whatever stuff I'd left in my car ransacked or stolen. Pretty crap experience and sometimes when you're already going through one of those the whole process can be an additional downer/salt in the wound. This was not my experience with Dakota and the wonderful staff here. This Safelite location came recommended via my insurance and honestly I probably never would have known they were there (or maybe it would, given the inevitable nature of crime happening to you in LB these days) aside from this recommendation. I just want to say the whole experience was super painless and Dakota and the team were terrific. Super friendly, personable, and professional and i had a beautiful new window within 90 minutes of me dropping it off. Just want to say I appreciate the staff here for making this process easy and if I have to have autoglass replaced or know someone who does, I would 100% recommend this location. read more

Worst experience ever . I would not recommend this location in Long Beach. It went bad from the beginning. I called the day before to make sure everything was up and set before my appointment. They called me the day of my appointment to confirm that we were going. Therefore, wouldn't that give you the impression that once you arrive, your car would be in the process of being worked on or fixed? Upon arrival, they informed my dad that they received the windshield but that it was broken. In which case, they would be unable to assist, and we would have to wait until the weekend (today is Thursday). I called back and spoke to the representative in the office, and she told me another story. She said that they didn't receive the windshield. Why would they ask us to come in for an earlier appointment if the windshield was "broken or not in "? At this point, the company is MISLEADING, DECEIVING, and DISHONEST. They advised us to drive all the way to their other sister location in the valley. At this point, we've been inconvenienced in many ways. I asked/requested for their corporate office number, and the representative refused to provide it. I requested to speak to management in the Long Beach office, and she put me on hold. The representative came back on the line & suddenly there was a solution. She informed me that now they were able to work on my car. I ended up obtaining corporates office phone number by calling ALLSTATE. Keep in mind, my appointment was first thing this morning, and my car was fixed closer to closing time. Our time is of value, and there was no consideration of our time, work schedule, and transportation that we needed to get this done. read more

Had an appointment for Thursday 7/18/24. They showed up with the wrong wind shield. Tech called his company and the girl that answered the phone said they will call me back. They did and she was surprised that I want the original blue tint band like i have on my car. She said she can get the correct one and have it on 7/19/24. I made a new appointment for the next day and it needed to be after 4pm. The tech calls me in the a.m. and tells me either the glass wasn't not ordered or it did not come in. He then asked who made the appointment. I told him. I then called my insurance company and told them I wanted to go somewhere else to fix the glass, but because of the internet outage I had to wait. Saturday 7/20/24 Safelite calls me from the Long Beach office and she can tell that I am getting upset. She puts me on hold and then another girl picks up and asked how she can help me. I asked who she was a she said she was a manager. She apologized but it looks like they can't get the wind shield with the blue tint even though it says the can in the computer, but she is going to try again and she made an appointment for Monday 7/22/24 between 8 and 12 and she would call me back on saturday before they closed to confirm. Well I never heard back from her (No shock there!!!!), but i did get a text message confirming my new appointment. Monday comes around and I wait and wait and no phone call anything no one showed up to my house. I called Safelite Long Beach location and I am beyond pissed at this point. I ask to for the district managers name and number and she will not give it to me. She said she would let the store manager now I called and I told her I did not want a the store manager, but I wanted the district manager. She stated that the store manager and district manager are the the same. Well guess what he is not doing a good job at this point running his stores. So I go onto the internet and search for corporate customer service number and call them. They do not take calls at this time and hang up. MORAL OF THE STORY DON'T USE SAFELITE AT ALL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! IT WILL SAVE YOU HEADACHES AND YOU WON'T HAVE TO LOSE MONEY BY TAKING DAYS OFF TO GET YOUR WINDOWS FIXED. read more

I went in to get my windshield replaced but the replacement had a defect. I then scheduled a warranty service and took the car in. The gentleman who checked it out was knowledgeable and explained what they'd do. A couple hours later it was fixed and looked perfect. Horrible service. They canceled on me and on the day they rescheduled the technician never reached out to me to confirm they were coming or that they were possibly running late. The technician never showed up during the scheduled window. I called to cancel the order due to having to leave for work and they did not care about trying to make it right. read more

I had someone come out to repair a very small crack on my windshield. He further cracked the small crack, told me after the fact that he needed to make it larger to be able to correctly repair. He then "sealed" the now larger crack (about 3 inches). Two days later the crack split to 1/3 of the window (around 10 inches) which is larger than what can be repaired. I am now being asked to pay full price for a new window. I spoke to an agent and was then transferred from a manager. The only offer was a full price window repair through safelite, over $800 read more

This place is a complete scam the glass they use is faulty. After two months of having this windshield a crack started to form I called to have a it replaced via warranty and from that time I called to my appointment the class started cracking. They would not replace it after two months. The technician was very helpful and tried to get the situation resolved but the manager Wendy who is an extremely rude women who lacks customer service simply told me no. And said that the car wash didn't make my crack worse as if she was there. Save your money and go elsewhere bc there glass is not built to last it's the cheapest glass you can buy. read more

The installer was prompt and friendly. The customer service is nonexistent. I was promised a return call from the office and also their regular customer service. This has been my worse experience with a company in a long time. I just had a windshield put in yesterday and the bottom of the glass is not sealed. The tech left acting like it was all done. I immediately called him about the lack of a seal. He acknowledged it did not properly seal stating something was wrong with the bottom seal. I told him I expect him to properly install my window. He told me he would go to the shop and get what he needs and come back after lunch. It is now 24 hours later, and I have not heard from him nor does he take any calls from me. Then trying to find a number to a shop is ridiculous so I called Customer service, and the automated voice tells me there is no one to take my call and to go online. I have been dealing with this company since May 30 and yet my window is not installed properly. The customer service is one of the worst on the market. I received a call today from Safelite claiming that AAA would not cover the cost of an OEM windshield replacement (which Safelife wanted me to pay). They then offered me an aftermarket replacement which AAA would cover the remaining costs after I paid my deductible. Mind you this is before my appointment scheduled for tomorrow. They took it upon themselves to cancel my appointment due to this claim. I am upset at this situation because of this last minute issue. If this was so bad why wasn't this communicated to me from AAA itself? Safelite has zero value and I think they are only doing this because they screwed up by not ordering OEM and thought to convince me to use whatever inventory they had in stock. Thanks but no thanks. Completely unprofessional. The appointment was made on November 13, they only contacted me about the issue the day before the appointment - a whole week passing by. They wasted my time and I had to cancel meetings tomorrow because I thought I was going to get my windshield replaced. Your time has value to them so do not waste time on these guys. I hope they get no additional business! Run and do not turn back! Go somewhere else with better service and more considerate of customer's time! I scheduled with this place at 4 pm on Wednesday to get my windshield replaced. They called me MULTIPLE times in the days before my appointment asking if I can switch my appointment time to make it easier for them. Obviously not? I have a busy schedule and i would've changed the time if I could. Then the day OF my appointment, an hour before, the lady called me and said my glass arrived damaged and asked if I could reschedule. She agreed to do mobile service for the inconvenience. She said the window for the next day (today) was 7-11 am and I told her I work late and I am NOT AVAILABLE before 9 am. I stressed this to her FOUR TIMES and told her to make sure not to send anyone before then. And what do you know at 7 am they're blowing up my phone calling and texting multiple times. Then I get a text "oh I didn't see that you wanted me to come at 9 I'll be back then." Thanks a lot? So I'm awake at 9, barely got any sleep. Waiting for this guy and he never shows. So I call him and he says he's working on another vehicle but will be here in an hour. are u kidding? I told the person on the phone a million times that I'm only available from 9-11 and she agreed. Now I have to go through today on barely any sleep because these people have no idea how to communicate. Definitely don't recommend this place. read more
