Heard about MUD coffee through their instagram page. Heard they were doing a social event that included Matcha Martinis and Espresso Martinis to fit the coffee theme. With that said , I tried their MUD Matcha Latte , Matcha Martini , and Espresso Martini. Their matcha latte was decent in my opinion. I think it could have been a little sweeter but that is personal preference. If you're looking for a matcha latte where the matcha flavor stands out more then it's for you! The Matcha Martini was interesting; can't say I've had one before. I'm not sure what to have expected but the alcohol definitely overpowered the matcha. The espresso martini was okay. Not the best espresso martini I have had but solid. Service was good. Orders were taken fast , drinks were also made fast. Overall , it was a good visit but I would only see myself coming back if I'm in the area.

Hard to find a place doing it this good. This is my 8th LA smash burger and it's definitely a top three contender! The ratios were on point. The lemon pepper fries were killer. The bulgogi fries were strangely good for no one appearing to be Korean who worked there. Big fresh jalapeños on top with the perfect amount of sauce. GREAT home made pickles on the burger to offset the rich patty and cheese. The service was TOP tier. Took a little longer than most, but tasted better than most! So pick your poison! Great outdoor seating in a bar next door with its own brewery. They have a deal going so you can use that place. Sat in a cool outdoor patio area with fake grass and a nice fence. Nice shade. Cool Glendale vibes.

Customizations were no problem at all, and the turnaround time from ordering to pickup was exactly as promised. Their vegan options are full of flavor and definitely not an afterthought. Really enjoyed the first experience and so when I saw the truck again today after an early morning walk in Descanso Gardens, I stopped again to get their empanadas. This visit confirmed my initial impression which was/is that the empanadas from La Puna are "fantastic"!! I ordered four empanadas, the corn and spinach, as well as their chicken. Also ordered one called the Arabe. All four were superb!! The corn empanada was a combination of sweet, salty, and creamy. This was the result of using good quality corn and a combination of both cream and either jack or cotija cheese. The spinach empanada was equally delicious. It had a unique taste profile prompted by the really smart use of a hint of nutmeg. The combination of spinach and the nutmeg, along with whatever they included, have the final product a "wow" factor. Chicken empanada was slightly smokey and very flavorful, and the "Arabe" was a wonderful combination of ground beef, onion, red bell peppers, with spices that offered a distinctly Moroccan taste. Really outstanding. The thing that tied all these different empanadas together was the dough they use to make them. It was firm while still light and flaky with a mouth feel that was soft but not mushy. It was the perfect compliment to the filling. Like eating a really, really good pie where the filling and the crust are harmonious. The food offered by La Puna Empanadas reflects attention to detail, the use of really good product, and most importantly pride in their Argentinian culture and it's food. If you enjoy empanadas or are curious about them, I encourage you to try those offered by La Puna for all the reasons I've outlined here. One final note, the women who own and run the truck are very nice people whose passion for what they do is evident in every bite of their food. !!!

I drove for a few seconds around the corner and parked on the street and walked over to the Verdugo Dairy lot which is where the Nickos Sandwich Truck is located. The truck is so cute and small and fits perfectly in the lot without taking up too much space. I looked at the menu and honestly all the sandwiches looked so good that it was hard to just choose one, but I wanted breakfast so I went with the Plain Breakfast Sandwich. I was asked how I want my egg cooked and I chose sunny side up. Options for cheese were swiss or provolone and I couldn't decide and I was able to get a slice of both on my sandwich! I also ordered a bread pudding on the side. After ordering I was given a little buzzer that would go off when my food is ready. I hung out and didn't wait too long until my buzzer went off and it was a nice loud beeping that would be easy to hear if I had left it in my pocket. After the food is ready then you pay. When I went back to my car and I couldn't help myself I ripped open the bag and I was in awe of my sandwich. Look at my photos, do you see that melty stretch of cheese that is so perfect??????????? The brioche bun is soft and fluffy, the egg seasoned with salt and pepper perfectly and cooked to perfection, and the cheese is stretchy and gooey and so delicious. Was I licking the wrapper when I was done? Maybe! If I could give more than 5 stars for my sandwich I would! I love me a banana pudding and I thought I was going to wait to eat it at home, however I could not control myself I popped it open and I gobbled it down. So creamy and delicious with just the right amount of crumbled nilla wafers. I am not in Glendale too often, but you can bet that when I am, I'll be stopping by again! Thank you Nickos for an amazing and satisfying breakfast!

I don't know what I was expecting but it is amazing that they can serve up such food in a small place. I've seen videos and these guys get a lot of credit for working in a such a small place. The day I went my wife said "99 cent tacos on Tuesday". I said, too bad it's not Tuesday. She is IT IS! HAHA ok, well, now I know what I want. I went to the window and asked if it was true, 99 cent tacos, she said yes! Well $3 later, I had my two tacos. Was it any good? Well, yeah! It was! Look, it wasn't the best tacos in the world or the best I have tried but it was really good and if I had the time, I'd get a beer and sit down and eat these good tacos and then they might be some of the best! Unfortunately I had to do other things so I just enjoyed these two tacos and I got the spicy versions and let me tell you, the kick from the spice was awesome!!!! I love the little Great White Hut!

The good: Although small, the way this burger is constructed makes sense. Good, fresh ingredients with a nice crunch and somewhat decent hamburger patty. The price is right. $6 for a single. Yet, the pickles are thick and good. I would come again if in the area.
