I had been to this restaurant a couple of times before and the food and service was good. I went there today for lunch with 2 other people. Things were fine and I left a small tip . Apparently it wasn't enough for the waiter. He came back over and told me that it was a 80.00/ 90.00 bill. He was expecting more. We told him it was ok. He then went on to say that they make their living on tips and let us know in uncertain terms that he wasn't satisfied. I was mortified. He waited on other tables and I called him back. I gave him some more money but I also told him that it was rude for him to ask for more money. He tried to apologize but he really wasn't apologizing, just restating his point. I asked for the manager and of course no one was around. I called the restaurant in Wareham and asked for the person who manages all of them and she said no one was around. If he was upset about the tip- then okay. But a tip, and how much it is should always be up to the customer. I was humiliated and I will never return there again. read more

Really surprised to find such a yummy asian fusion/sushi place on Cape Cod. As a huge lover of texture, flavor and presentation my standards and expectation are pretty high. Had the chicken lettuce wraps to start (pretty standard like most asian places.) Followed up by some super delish sushi. Flavorful, fresh, and very nice presentation. The restaurant is VERY clean and the wait staff is pleasant. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is the feeling of being hustled quickly through dinner to get the table turned over. read more

Poor customer service. We walked in and were not greeted by anyone. When someone finally aknowledged us they took our name and told us 30 minutes. 45 minutes later I went back to check on reservation and apparently they seat people they knew even though they came in way after us. Finally over an hour after we walked in they sat us. The service resembled a fast food restaurant. Waiter insisted on taking our whole order even though we wanted to order drinks first. Reluctantly we ordered everything and got drinks, apps and entree at the same time. The food while good was not special . Inaho and Misaki are far more superior in food , service and quality. Ahhh, Saga Fusion. Giving the fine people of Marstons Mills and Cotuit a little option for Asian food without having to travel out of our comfy confines. I was there during the grand opening, and the kinks were as expected; food timing was off, the music sucked, the staff had no idea what they were getting into. However, they excelled in the two major components to any of my dining experiences; the drinks were strong and the food was EXCELLENT. When I say EXCELLENT, that's exactly what I mean. The sushi is fresh and presented with Five Star flair. I've had almost half of their signature rolls since the opening and I don't even have the slightest complaint about any of them. Just plain phenomenal. They also have generic, Americanized favorites for the boring people of the town. As I mentioned, I expected kinks for an opening night. The issue is, management still has no clue what they're doing. The lighting is abrasive, the music is horrendous, and the two flat screen TVs only get about 16 channels and none of them show hockey or basketball. I've been sitting at the bar watching Sixteen Candles on mute without closed captioning before. It's embarrassing. Now, watching Sixteen Candles on mute would be fun when they first opened and I could make up my own dialogue with every Mai Tai that I would suck back. However, the drinks are getting weaker by the week and the bartenders are the most bland people to chat with. As a Japanese gal this was mediocre. I heard from many people around the cape that this was the best Asian food spot on the cape so I was excited to try it. The food was moderately fresh, but the fish was tough. The tempura was okay but tasted kind of frozen. The atmosphere is the best part of this place. It was expensive. $80 for 3 people! I just posted this review on Facebook too but it seems to me that a new restaurant survives on word of mouth so I thought I would post it here as well. We stopped in here this afternoon and had a great meal that was ready quickly and tasted delicious. It was served politely and happily by friendly staff, and was accompanied by well-made drinks. The atmosphere was modern and clean, with room for a small crowd. Prices were what you would expect from a sushi restaurant, but it looked like there are some good deals available as well. Rushed us, brought out 2 soups (1 was the wrong one which she then took back & we had to wait for the correct one to appear) & then 1 appetizer came out but not along with the soups, but with the entrees. Golden Monkey roll...yes....with banana. I live in Brooklyn and come to the Cape to visit family. This place feels like a Brooklyn sushi place...neon accent lights did not disappoint. Great place with decent sushi and great staff. Slow service so just don't go if in a hurry. Skip dessert and just get more sushi. The dessert was really just an insult. I would have sent it back if the sushi wasn't so good. Ok... So since my first review, I've probably been back to Saga Fusion about 30 times - no joke. The sushi rolls are always fresh and creative, and the salmon sashimi is amazing. Appetizers are plentiful with choices for everyone. I went tonight for takeout and the place was jamming. My order was ready right on time, and was perfect, despite how busy they were! I met a friend for lunch today at Saga fusion... This is my third time going to the restaurant. The menu is extensive and there are lots of tasty offerings. I'd give the food four stars & the service is consistently two stars - which equals out to a three star review. The waiter today was efficient, but had absolutely no personality or interest... nor was he helpful. I didn't realize my mango chicken dish came with soup and salad... Or I wouldn't of ordered California rolls to start? The waiter never asked how the food was, if we need anything else... Took everything in my power to leave a tip. When I first moved to the cape, I figured it would be impossible to find quality sushi, but I've been quite pleased with the freshness of the food - especially the sake (salmon). It could use a bit of a cleanup as some of the walls look like they ripped posters off the wall (or something?), which doesn't really fit with the vibe of the restaurant as a whole. Just got back... Overall I really liked the food and agree with most comments. Service was acceptable but at times the timing was a little awkward (dishes came all at once, etc). My most recent visit I got what is called the "cape cod phoenix" which consisted of to start Miso soup which I was skeptical about based on its description but was very good and a small salad which was very fresh and the dressing was enjoyable and for the main dish it is general tso chicken with shrimp tempura and choice of rice and let me tell you it was well worth the 26$! I am a rather large man with a larger appetite and the meal I chose was very very filling so don't be shy about the price you get a lot of food! This place is great; it's the only sushi place in the lower Cape that I have ever been to, however. My first experience was one in which I got take out: the Massachusetts girl roll, some unagi sashimi, and a bit of seaweed salad. The Massachusetts girl roll- wow! Surprisingly good! I suppose that I should admit to being a fan of novelty- hence the decision to try this "Massachusetts girl" roll. Honestly, I don't see what makes this particularly "Massachusetts"; it contains tuna, jalepeno, salmon, avocado, and tobiko (fish eggs). In any case, it was quite good, and the unagi was among the better that I've had. The caveat is that the dining space is small; the parking situation can be challenging to mediate (depending on what time you arrive, and what direction you are coming from on Rt. 28), and the dining atmosphere is quite modern. read more
