Our cat recovering at home after his time at Sage
    Elyssa E.

Even though it can be such a high stress environment the staff at Sage only ever spoke to us calmly and with so much kindness and understanding. Of course our emotions were high because our fur baby was really sick but the staff gave us all the time we needed to process through the decisions they presented us with and came to explain each of them if we wanted more information. They were really gentle with our cat and made sure we were aware of the cost of everything before committing and really tried to avoid procedures that would be invasive. They even let us visit the area where our cat would be staying over night when they absolutely did not need to do that; they were so busy at the time.

*First time review, not about vet services but customer service* I showed up here to book an appointment for my kitten who had a bump on her nose. I panicked despite taking her to my local vet (he told me to wait 2 weeks for the antibiotics to work before I do anything else). Long story short, I did end up pushing my appt out to wait, but with all my anxiety and pushing my appt out, the staff at Sage were very nice. They were understanding and I ended up cancelling all together because my vet was right, her bump did go away! 4 stars as they're quite expensive. A consultation just to see a doctor would have been $384 and they take a deposit of $96. I can see charging a lot for emergency but not a scheduled visit a week out. Anywho, luckily my sweetheart got better and I didn't have to take her in. Overall decent experience with their team.

My dogs bloodwork that dr Oneil found nothing wrong with , no phone call no check up . Just sent out more prednisone

NEVER SEE ONEIL. Marshall was seen at sage two times One for losing his eye sight The second for have no platelets and possibly itp. Dr Oneil was going to be the one who checked his blood work and changed his medication accordingly . She never called up with our vet to get his records . Never called after I personally sent them and the primary vet. My Marshall has now passed the rainbow bridge . Our hearts are shattered. We left our boy in the hands of a professional and Dr Oneil did absolutely nothing for us except completely neglect her simple job of checking his bloodwork. We only looked into it ourselves after my baby guy was put down. We trusted her and her team. We have lost all faith in animal medicine due to this women's complete negligence

This is the foxtail they pulled out between my dog's toes. Thank you, Dr. Jain!

SAGE has been our go-to place for years for emergencies and when our regular vet is out of their comfort zone. During this last visit, I was fortunate enough to get the best doctor ever, Dr. LeeAnne Jain. After two failed (and traumatic) attempts to remove a foxtail from our dog's foot and an infection that just wouldn't stop, our vet recommended we go to SAGE since they have better imaging equipment and because my dog might require surgical removal. I immediately drove over to SAGE. After waiting about three hours, we were finally seen by Dr. Jain, the kindest and most caring vet ever. After a visual inspection and a quick ultrasound, she was convinced that she had located the culprit and could get it out under light sedation via a small incision. And indeed, she was able to get the foxtail out. Now, after about a week of meds, the wound is pretty much gone, and the only evidence of any procedures is a slight bump and shaved paw where the incision was made. I'm so thankful to Dr. Jain and Nurses Janette and Blue for their empathy and for taking such good care of Oakley. You are the best!

We are so grateful to SAGE Veterinary Centers - Campbell for the incredible care they gave our dog, Cypress. He underwent a major surgery, and the surgical team was absolutely amazing--skilled, compassionate, and so reassuring throughout the entire process. Everyone took the time to answer our questions and made a very stressful experience feel manageable. We truly felt like Cypress was in the best hands. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of him.

Last week, I had to bring my wiener dog in for an emergency. Just a few days after his annual dental cleaning, one of his eyes became swollen. Within a matter of hours, it got so bad that I had no choice but to rush him to the emergency vet. When you call an emergency hospital and they tell you to come right away, you'd expect to be seen promptly--not to sit in the waiting room for another 4-6 hours. This, in my opinion, is one of the biggest flaws with emergency vet hospitals. They likely know if you're still hours away from being seen, but they tell you to come immediately regardless. In my case, I had to watch my dog's face continue to swell and even bleed for another five hours before, near midnight, I pushed for him to be seen. I even called two other hospitals in hopes of finding faster care. He was eventually prescribed medication for cellulitis of the eye tissue. While it's still unclear exactly how or why it developed, his condition has improved dramatically over the last few days and is now almost back to normal. Waiting for hours at an emergency vet is frustrating enough, but watching your pet suffer needlessly during that time makes the experience far worse.

My dog after tx, super happy.

Upon our next visit to Petlight, she had a nebulizer ready with healing essential oils especially for Oliver to help his breathing. Proceed with CAUTION ‼‼…read more I regret to say that my experience at The Whole Pet Vet Wellness was deeply troubling and misleading. From the initial phone conversations, I was given the impression that this clinic was welcoming, supportive, and genuinely invested in the well-being of my eight-month-old German Shepherd. However, once I arrived in person, the tone and treatment shifted dramatically. What was presented as straightforward care quickly became layered with unexpected and costly add-on fees that were never clearly disclosed beforehand. The experience felt structured to create trust upfront, only for essential information and services to be reframed later in a way that prioritized billing over transparency. The conduct of management--specifically Joe (manager) and Jenn (assistant manager)--was particularly concerning. Both displayed a dismissive and condescending attitude, speaking down to clients rather than communicating with professionalism or empathy. On one occasion, I personally witnessed front desk staff being reprimanded and spoken to harshly in front of me, which was uncomfortable and inappropriate in a client-facing environment. Most alarming was the refusal of assistance while I was present with my dog and seeking help, allegedly due to staffing limitations. A wellness clinic should not invite clients in under assurances of care only to later deny support because of inadequate veterinary coverage. In contrast, the front desk employees, MIA, Ava and Ashley were consistently kind and professional, despite being placed in difficult and clearly demoralizing situations. Trust is everything when it comes to veterinary care. Unfortunately, this clinic's leadership demonstrated poor communication, questionable transparency, and a troubling focus on revenue rather than patient well-being. I strongly encourage pet owners to ask very detailed questions and consider alternative clinics before committing to care here. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Whole Pet Vet and feel it is important to share my concerns to warn other pet owners. Wait....Having said that.... It gets worse..... My eight-month-old German Shepherd was seen at this clinic, and throughout the process I experienced a troubling lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism. I repeatedly attempted to contact the clinic for updates and clarification regarding my dog's care and diagnosis, often calling more than ten times before receiving any response. Even then, many of my requests went unanswered. A diagnosis of possible elbow dysplasia was delivered without adequate explanation, guidance, or timely follow-up, leaving me anxious and confused about my young dog's health. The lack of communication during such a serious situation felt negligent and deeply distressing. Additionally, I was initially led to believe that I would be shown how to administer Adequan injections to my dog during a visit. This was presented as a straightforward and supportive process. However, once in the room, I was informed by the assistant manager, Jenn, that she would refuse to demonstrate how to give a simple subcutaneous injection unless I paid an additional $49 fee. This was never clearly communicated beforehand and felt opportunistic, especially given the emotional state of a concerned pet owner. It was difficult not to feel that financial gain was prioritized over patient care. The veterinarians and management, including Joe and Jenn, did not demonstrate compassion, accountability, or integrity in my experience. I do want to note that the front desk staff--specifically Mia, Ashley, and Ava--were consistently kind, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, their efforts were overshadowed by the actions and decisions of the clinic's leadership and medical staff. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic. Pet owners deserve transparency, timely communication, and care that prioritizes the well-being of animals--not unexpected fees or unanswered calls. I strongly encourage others to seek veterinary care elsewhere.

Our most recent visit our cat got a sticky (glue) fly trap stuck to him, which may seem like a silly thing to bring a cat to emergency for... but the level of freaked out that he was, we were having difficulty handling him, and he was bleeding and we couldn't determine from where. I called to ask for advice on how to handle the situation, which they gladly gave. The person at the front desk even called me back after she talked to a technician and had additional information for me! We ended up taking him in, as we just couldn't get things under control on our own and he was clearly in a lot of pain. A technician took him back to assess him quickly, got him cleaned up, located the source of the bleeding and cleaned his wounds. And of course he was an angel for her... (why can't he be like that for me?!?!). Once again, everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient. They never minimize what you're dealing with... if they thought it was silly reason to be there, they sure didn't make it seem that way to me. The other thing I really appreciate with the team here is that they aren't trying to add on or charge for unnecessary services. Costs are explained clearly and feel very fair. Our local vets didn't think it was possible. More key points I learned: (6) 50-60°F Cold compresses for 2 minutes, then (5) 105°F hot for 2 minutes. Start with cold & end with cold. This gets the blood moving in & out of the area. Warmth is inflammatory, that's why you need to start & end with cold. I bought a bunch of microwavable heat/cold pads. I would put the hot pads in a pot of hot water while using the cold pads to heat them back up. Make sure the urine stays clean looking (bladder emptied 2 or 3 times a day & antibiotics if an infection develops), the skin & genitals get cleaned & dried well to or not get a skin infection. Females - don't cross-contaminate by bringing feces bacteria to the genitals. Infection = sepsis Products I found helpful: cat waterless shampoo, A+D diaper rash ointment & skin protectant (vet recommended because no toxic zinc in it) , & Honey Pot anti-itch wipes.
