Well it has been years since I have been here. A lot has not changed here which is good, why mess with a good thing. This place has been around here for a while, and as always the people here are always great, our waitress Valynee was on top of it. She seated us very quickly and asked for our drink order. She was very attentive with her service brought us our drinks and gave us plenty of time to decide if we wanted an appetizer, before taking our order. We place our order and they had messed up steaks which it wasn't their fault. But the head chef made it right. So we went with it and couldn't complain when they own it. So we had the sirloin steak, fries, veggies and side salad, also the blackened RIBEYE STEAK, mashed potatoes, veggies and veggies and there special for the night the chicken cordon blue, fries, veggies and salad. Wow wow as always everything was cooked to perfection. If people would take the time and showed some pride on their food as the chef here does. Dude is always on top of it. He has a good taste in food and he keeps it simple but high quality. The price is always high. But you can't expect anything less. I will always and mean always pay for top notch food. Thank you for the amazing service, food, and atmosphere. Feeling full as I always do.

House salad with house-made ranch dressing along with dinner rolls.

We are from out of state and found Sagebrush Grill on Yelp. It did not disappoint! The service was very personable and knowledgeable. The dishes our server, Shastel, recommended were spot on. We had the chicken cordon bleu, and the pork tenderloin. They were both amazing. The decor was rustic and felt very comfortable.

Mom loved it

It was SO good the first time. We are back! If you are ever in Richfield UT, this restaurant is top notch with Chef Clark! Homemade prime rib soup...hearty and delicious, warmed the soul. Then on to a house specialty, Cordon Bleu, and Steve had the Prime Rib end cap. Add a bottle of Jordan Cabernet wine and you are all set!

Steak sliced in several spots by be before sending back.

I'm pretty heartbroken over this one. We come to Sagebrush Grill every time we visit Utah. On this trip we actually added another night to our stay when we missed the 8pm close the night before. We have always loved coming here. The wait staff are fast, friendly and just sweet as can be. We have never had a bad meal in 4 years. Until tonight. Tonight we ordered our meals: Shrimp cocktail and lump crab appetizer Two ribeyes (cooked medium) The salad and the soup were wonderful and the rolls were hot and fresh. When our steaks came, I noticed that they both seemed a bit over cooked. We cut into several sections including the center and sure enough , barely a hint of pink. My husband's was the same , but he didn't want to wait and send it back. I HATE sending food back, but for a $50 steak I really wanted a medium ribeye. The waitress scooped it up and took it back leaving my side on my plate while she went fora new steak. Only instead, she came back to the table a moment later and said the chef butterflied the steak ( to prove it was medium enough) and she asked me, "so he wants to know if you want it more rare than THAT" It was humiliating. What am I supposed to do with that? To sit there and have someone butterfly a ribeye to demonstrate the inside is pink.. Medium is pink throughout, not pink centerline. And to then humiliate a customer and send the steak back to the table butterflied rather than correct it?? After the waitress, myself and my husband all saw that it was well over medium. I just shut down. I don't want another steak, I don't want to eat. I just went to the bathroom and cried. ( I hate confrontation and absolutely fear public humiliation.) This was both. My steak sat butterflied on the plate and untouched while my husband attempted to eat his dinner. Our waitress along with another apologized profusely. They removed my meal from our bill and sent home a slice of cheesecake, and I cried again in the hotel parking lot over our ruined dinner date. Our bill for my husband's dinner and appetizers was still 150 (we still tipped our waitstaff, it is not their fault the cook is arrogant and can't cook a steak)

So please keep in mind you are in Utah, no full bar, no even remotely decent wine list. The food is acceptable, the service was very good.

So glad we stumbled upon this place when stopping by a rest stop. This place was just a few minutes…read moreaway and just what we were looking for. It does take quite some time to make so if you're able to then I would order ahead. This was a food stand in Filmore Utah, they have a sink if u need to wash your hands and a cute photo stand. The man was so sweet and patient. All our food also came with a few pieces of candy. Now for the food, I don't usually like beans, but these were so good. I loved it, ate every last piece. It was amazing. Must try so I would get a combo, it's worth it. Got the Quesabirria and this was a little messy to eat but so worth it. This was not really spicy for me, but the worker gave us like 10 hot sauces so it was all cool. The Tacos Combo and Crispy Tacos were also good, the crisp does very much satisfy. The burrito was quite large, it was filled to the brim thing was absolutely packed. My favorite was definitely the Quesabirria though, it was just full of flavor and everything tied together so well. If you get a chance, stop by here!!

This little taco truck in Fillmore was a nice find. When you're not ready to eat in St George or…read moreCedar City but Provo is too far, stop here. The flavors are great. Beans are a little odd (watery, odd texture) but the taste is good. The rice, which I normally leave, was excellent. I had the 3 hard taco plate, one chicken, two beef. Very good. The only complaint was the bottom of the shells were filled with potato so they can save $$$ on the meat. It was very good but be honest about it. Hubs had the chicken enchilada plate and a pork taco, also very good. The salsa on the enchiladas was amazing. Some rickety chairs are provided under a not so shady tree so plan to eat in the car or find a park with some shade.

I called Steve's Steakhouse today, knowing full well they don't usually take reservations for…read moresmaller parties. Laynee picked up; warm as a fresh cup of coffee and sharp as a new knife. I told her it was a first date and I was aiming to make it count. She didn't hide behind policy; she leaned in and helped me anyway. She went the extra mile and noted a table near the fireplace. That kind of touch means something. It's rare to find someone who helps set the stage for your evening before you even walk through the door. Laynee, you made a cowboy believe in smooth first dates again. If the steaks and service inside match the care you showed on that call, Steve's is doing things right... and I just might have a shot at that second date. Thank you.

The steak was not good. It was way too salty. We tried both the steak ends and the strip (I think…read morethey called it the Cowboy steak) and both too salty. The adult plate for the steak ends turned out to be as small as the kid's serving. We ordered "seasoned vegetables" as a side and it turns out that's just heated green beans probably from a can. The fruit side for the kids was also just canned mandarin wedges. The kicker is the entitlement to a 20% tip and the false claim that it was somehow a new mandated minimum, almost alluding or implying that it was a law or regulation. I tipped the 20% because I felt pressured to do so, which I regret. I usually tip 20% if service is good since I had friends and family in the restaurant service industry. But not being given an option and the entitlement mindset is off putting. Building is nice though...
